ended up being about the same price anyway pig. but im glad to know i have a friend across the pond in pork town. Oh and I found out that the company that makes that sharpshooter game also made the police trainer games.... im about to buy 3 of them.

You have to realize people have lives and families besides competitions. I think having one every week is to much and makes it watered down in my opinion. I think it should be every other week or even once a month but that's just my two cents.

Also maybe set up a poll and have people vote on like a list of 5 games or something like that and after a few days of voting we play the game that wins. Or maybe whoever finishes in 10th place picks the next game. Just throwing out some ideas.

This game kicks my butt. I got to the third stage once, but damn it's just a relentless assault and almost no downtime at all. Die once and it's pracitcally game over. All that aside it is still a very fun game with the custom power ups.

Will keep trying!

im not even going to post my score. I used to be able to beat gradiusGBA on 3 lives. i just cant get the feel for the older one, im barley clearing the 1st level

Didn't say I don't like the games. I'm saying a game a week is a little to much in my opinion. Some people might like to play the games but don't have time to do it within that time frame.

Haha, believe me I know! I'm super busy all the damn time, but somehow I manage to squeeze HS in. I've been digging these competitions. I'm mainly trying to influence lurkers to get involved and actually post stuff! Then maybe they'll feel like they are a part of this crazy thing and help out. I like where your heads at, but maybe every two weeks? Gives people more time to get a better score or even just take a crack at the current game. So far, I've done the same thing each time, I play the game like 5 or 6 times, post a score when I feel like I did ok, then move on.

we're in the same boat friend. I happened upon a GT 2005 complete for 20 bucks, sent the board out to el dorado games and they fixed up the board for cheap. now ive got it up at work for a longest drive tourney

If you don't mind my asking, how much did El Dorado charge you to fix a board? I've got 5 fully populated Nintendo Vs. boards for my red tent that all need work. I just bought Tetris and I need that other side to be Dr. Mario!

I know... I've got it soooo rough.

I like the randomness of the game choice, it'll make me play games I don't normally. This challenge I've had about 10 minutes on it, I could have made time I suppose, but haven't, must try harder.

I'd say have the winner and 2nd place each pick a game, and LSDguy pick one of the 2 at random. Flip a coin or whatever and go from there.

You could even have the winner and one random other spot pick, so it changes each time .

The reason I said the one who finishes last is that the winner would choose a game he is already good at.

Homies,

Thanks for your input and thoughts on the game selection! I will do a poll for the game after next challenge!! It's democratic that and it leaves room for suggestions for you guys! The "1st place" or "last place" ideas are great but give to much advantage to players.

However, the creation of videos, images and badges takes some time. Polls will help give me a some heads up of what needs to be created prior to the next challenge. But it will not be an everytime thing, takes to much time. It will remain weekly, if you can't participate, that's fine. There will be other challenges, there's no money, no real prizes, its just fun.

The HyperScore challenges have been a great fun for me! I like choosing random classics that challenge you guys! I still will continue to select games most of the time because it makes things fun and interesting for me! It will limit your ability to practice prior to playing and create interesting results. Your reactions and adaptations to the game are really neat actually.

But there will be some poll challenges. I like that idea!
