DamnedRegistrations Posted October 7, 2014 Author Posted October 7, 2014 BIG UPDATE NEW wheel location: /Upload Here/PS2 Wheels Last night I went through all the wheels from that PS2 Wheels folder and found a bunch I had missed, then deleted all the junk. I cleaned up a bunch in Photoshop and fixed some others too, but there are still plenty that need redoing because I can tell they weren't pen cut. I also did a few from scratch so there are new wheels now, I even redid some including Shadow of the Colossus. Check the attached thumbs; left is old inaccurate version, right is new. As noted, I'm moving everything to the main PS2 wheels folder in the user upload section to make everything easier to find and to ensure everyone gets the proper wheels. Make sure to grab everything and overwrite your old set. Contribute if you like and add your name to credits folder.
dougan78 Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Nice work even though it got jpg'd it looks alot better
DamnedRegistrations Posted October 7, 2014 Author Posted October 7, 2014 They're just meant for previews, the actual png is in the wheels folder of course

If anyone wants to help just give me a shout Yeah, good luck with a hand full of contributing members in this otherwise awesome community. Sub-Zero and me are still looking for ppl to animate our themes for us as well ..........................back with a vengeance........................
SIMPLYAUSTIN Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Im just learning the Flash side of things. I have a great idea, problem is that I need to learn Adobe flash to make it happen... its a trial and error thing at the moment, but if it pays off it could change themes in a big way. For now though I have got to get the complete PS2 set in my life! I cannot have any games in my wheels without art and with the PS2, that means me missing out on hundreds of games. If I keep this pace I should be complete by next week... then its just a case of redoing the crap ones. Simply Austin's YouTube
Suhrvivor Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 I'm willing to help, just give me a list of the missing wheels and I'll start doing some of them.

Suhrvivor Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Will work on those. I just remade one that is not acceptable in its current form (the ftp version doesn't has black, is badly rotated and stretched). 187 Ride or Die (USA)
DamnedRegistrations Posted October 9, 2014 Author Posted October 9, 2014 187 Ride or Die (USA) While that looks much nicer than the old one, I tilted it to exactly match the cover. lol sorry, nitpicking. Also uploaded it to PS2 wheels folder (if you don't mind) and added your name to credits.

DamnedRegistrations Posted October 9, 2014 Author Posted October 9, 2014 Does anyone want to try Star Ocean - Till The End of Time disc 1 & 2? The graphics behind the main text looks really difficult and probably needs to be redrawn, something I could never get right. There are plenty high quality scans of the cover online. If you need the multidisc icons, grab the psd from my folder and use these so they match other wheels. Stick them in the bottom right corner and try to avoid any overlapping: /Upload Here/DamnedRegistrations/Wheels/Multidisc Wheels Updated/Multidisc Icons.psd
SIMPLYAUSTIN Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 I have these in my folder? Not sure who did them but they seem a good job to me? Simply Austin's YouTube
DamnedRegistrations Posted October 9, 2014 Author Posted October 9, 2014 Yeah that's the easy way of doing it but notice how it's missing all the transparencies and the top globe is even cut off? THIS is how the actual logo should appear, I'm not sure what source was used for that wheel. All the black should be cut out too, plus the "TM" symbols. I guess that one will work as a placeholder but it should be done properly some day.
DamnedRegistrations Posted October 9, 2014 Author Posted October 9, 2014 Alright, this will do for now. Resized it and added the disc icons. Edit: removed the dumb TM symbols.
SIMPLYAUSTIN Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Nice work. When the wheel is complete I will spend time going through them to work 100% on all the wheels. Its just such a huuuuuuge system its a long long job Simply Austin's YouTube

Iggy Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Give this Star Ocean a shot.....i think if the black background is omitted....alot of the details within the celestial map would be lost when placed on another background color other than black....also corrected the colors to be a little more vibrant [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]Sega Saturn Japanese Wheel Project: COMPLETE!!
