Mrmikey73 Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 I've tried it but now sure why I dont get an exe, any idears?
BoOgieman Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 Please note that there are new compiler tools needed for mame 0.148. These were released in December last year by mamedev. I don't know if Rain's mame compiler is updated to use these.... Verstuurd van mijn GT-N7000 met Tapatalk HyperSpeech - Text-To-Speech Voice Addon for HyperSpin
nogarth Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 i dont think it is. i think its hardcoded for 0.147 as i tried a few times and ended up manually compiling my own x64 hiscore mame. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Secret80'sMan Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 HS anyone compiled a 64 bit MAMEui with no nag and high score support for .148? If so I would be very grateful for a copy.

Sir Cyrano Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Can I add drivers cave SH3 with this compiler ??
noseovertail Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Hi Everyone. I'm new here, but I was trying to use quickmame to compile a version with the high scores built in. I haven't tried it the normal way because this seemed to be easier and I wanted to bypass any problems. Unfortunately, the exact opposite has happened. I've tried this over two nights now, in a million different ways, and I seem to keep running into the same problem. This last time, I watched the terminal window the whole way through and everything seems to patch ok, but it always errors on the makefile with this error... Parameters = OSD=windows TARGETOS=win32 -j3 ARCHOPTS=-march=athlon64 make: *** makefile: Bad file descriptor. Stop. The only thing I can think it might not like is that I am running an AMD 64 with a 32 bit version of windows, but should that be a problem? I really don't understand it. And I did the MinGW reinstall and non-windows 8 package thing like the instructions say. Can anyone help? I might just try to do it the manual way because I really don't understand why this isn't working... Thanks!
noseovertail Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Nevermind everyone. I just ended up making my own, and it worked the first time. Something weird must be up with my setup, but it worked and I'm glad to be done with the process. Wish I knew exactly what was wrong, but I have highscore support now, so I'm just going to leave it.
sfinx333 Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 well did you use this compiler? or did you make it yourself?
twmac Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Hay if your still looking check my folder on ftp (Xecsc) I just put one up a 64 no-nag w/ high score support its dual core opt. if you need another flavor let me know. Awesome man! Do you have one that is for quad core? or does that even matter? I get a build done every time through this but no nag & hi score never works.... So do I just replace my exe with this one?

MerolaC Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 Thank you so very much. But, I'm having troubles running it. It throws a 404 error System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found. Is the server down? Tested this in 2 different internet connections and PC's. Thank you.
nogarth Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 It possibly is down as dont think rain done amy work on this for a while. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
MerolaC Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 Oh bummer. Can anyone please share with me a mame with Nag screens removed and score support? Thanks in advance!
Runadumb Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 Yeah I'm getting the 404 error. I was looking a mame version for Aimtrak guns to toy around with. I believe they need to have DirectInput disabled. I see lots of different Mame versions on the FTP but not anything that would appear to suit. If anyone could upload a NoDirectInput or Aimtrak titled version to the FTP that would be great. Thanks
sandman7793 Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 Check jumpstile on FTP and see if one of those will work for you A boy stuck in a mans body
jonixc Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 I'm getting "The remote server returned and error: (404) Not Found." message. I see it happened to a couple of other users. Can someone confirm if the tool is not working anymore.
