alcoatjez Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 -And the horizontal scrolling bug, the joystick/trackball/spinner bug, the lack of having multiple depths to a wheel....... and lots of other things =) The control bug can east be avoided by using Xpadder or a similar proggy. Good to hear you're back, Bill. Hyperspin is already working great for me and all the features of Hyperlaunch will keep me busy for months
suspendedhatch Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 It took me a couple months to get HyperSpin to work and the whole problem had to do with sound. My system didn't have a speaker connected. By chance I plugged in headphones, fired up HyperSpin and it worked! It's clear that there is a priority list to how things should be addressed, but I don't think that certain bugs should be left as-is just because we've since found workarounds. Fixing a bug often corrects more than just the issue that called attention to it.
jtslade Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 A special mode for running at arcade resolutions would be amazing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

DesertBlade Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 This is awesome news. I considered using an alternative frontend thinking Hyperspin dev may have stopped, but Hyperspin is still a generation or two ahead of all the rest. Looking forward to what the new year brings.
jtslade Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 koolbrez67 in da house! If you don't know who he is let it be know that his is a machine sent from the future. He does not sleep or take any breaks.

n3wt0n Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 I know that I am very new to the Hyperspin community but this thread has added a breath of life to the site. Glad to hear you are back BBB and I hope you can have fun with Hyperspin again.

Styphelus Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Well...remove the scenes and let us see what's being them. I hate it when scenes block the view!
baddeolv Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Let's just say billy is keeping his word, can't have him online everyday responding to pm's and threads, and also expect anything to get done on 2.0 Instagram : baddeolv Kik : baddeolv Facebook : Brian Addeo www.facebook.com/thecorepunk
BakerMan Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Thank god. Hyperspin is WAY ahead of its time and would have been a shame if it had been abandoned, but that's not the case! I know the chances of BBB replying to my post is slim to none, but for what it's worth I'll say this: Hyperspin is the premier frontend. Emphasis on "THE" premier frontend. Nothing else comes close. Gameex tries, but to no avail. So just to reiterate: Hyperspin is WAY ahead of its time, is absolutely beautiful, and a near perfect concept of what an arcade program/frontend should be all about. So, Mr. BBB take your time, get your head right, and come back with a vengeance. I am a member that will continue to expand my setup as long as you continue to update. I have no delusions about who I am. I LOVE video games (especially retro) and will NEVER allow that to sway me. If someone else has a problem with it then, oh well. This whole process for me has been very therapeutic. So, just to reiterate - I love this program and hope it sticks around for a LONG LONG TIME. That's all. eezetee Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 It's hard to thing how much better this system can be as it is already a wonderful piece of work. Good luck to BBB and the dev team. May all your functions return the require results.
