I'm designing a high-tech "global theme", what do you think?

well not sure if the original author is going to finish and upload his but this is what i did, i did this because i wanted to test some special effects with after effects and did not plan on releasing it, anyway its not finished and i threw it together quite quickly.

That looks great to me. Much respect for giving respect to Keeper. I toyed with this one as well and yours is coming out nicely. I did the pointer at the bottom as well but I didn't like how the pointer can move only from left to right. If Hyperspin would allow the pointer on horizontal to animate in the direction pressed, that would be great. I like the glass and the contour as well.

Is there a way that I can make my own global theme but keep the default Hyperspin themes and switch between the two (or three or four...) easily?

You can't switch, you have to move around files to use diff default themes.

I don't mean to sound rude, but I don't know why people start a thread, get everyone pumped then drop off the face of the earth. They can at least pop in and say "Sorry guys this is going nowhere."

This way other people who like the idea can maybe start on their own or work off what's existing. But when people leave something hanging I don't get it.

I will try to give this a shot and recreate it. I'm by no means anywhere close to being as good as a lot of folks here and wouldn't be able to recreate the steam, but I'll try to do something similar. It's going to take me a bit though.

Just have to say that I have tried to make global themes and plenty of them. I've requested ideas and feedback. I've been wanting to have @ least one thread where people come together and make one great collaborative global theme. I tried that. My work may not look the best but I am still trying. I started a thread about main menu design but it's stagnate. I made a little theme called Home & requested feedback with not one single response from it. I put it in my folder to be uploaded and stated where it was. Instead of just downloading other people's hard work I have tried to give back something to this community. I know there's people out there that would love to have something global, so why don't they just get together and create something? I would love to be on-board for a global theme, but seems as though the ones who want it are just waiting to download it. I could be wrong, but just read.

I like a lot of the themes that you've done over there. And I actually just had some appointments cancel so I've had some time to screw around with this global recreation theme. I will post it in your thread and we can use your thread as the 'go to' spot for central themes. Sound good?

i've uploaded a psd file to ftp of a copy of the original theme from this thread, i have just traced the guys pic, someone can put it into hypertheme and create a theme from it or do a bit more work on it in photoshop,

i'm working on my own similar style theme but untill i have finished this could work for now, its in upload here>Azzbarb>globel hs theme.

also i was playing around with 3d and thought this might look good, what do you think? obversely its no where near a finished theme.
