annomatik Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Hi guys! Besides the Retro Gamer Magazine Theme, I really like Chris Upchurch's idea of having a Locomalito Theme. Locomalito is a cool indie game developer, I like most of his games a lot. His website can be found here. This seems to be Chris Upchurch's work: Like usual, I suppose it is not freely available for download, so I'd like to volunteer for making a similar one. Who can provide some good hires artwork? Thanks!

It's free advertisement for someone ripping us off in a blatant manner and doesn't even do it fck'n properly. Sorry for the language, this guy just makes my blood boil. Why not just request someone making a decent theme for this. I just do not understand anyone even wanting this weak bs theme. ..........................back with a vengeance........................

His vid's pop up a lot on youtube with "hyperspin" searches unfortunately; and may offer a few helpful tips, but for the most part is not good for the community. other than educating a few people here, not to buy hard drives from him, and learn to set it up themselves, I agree with you. on the other hand most here already know. Make it so if someone types his name, it auto corrects to Chris the Youtube Scumbag or something like that haha As far as the Locamalito theme goes (btw I always read his name as Loca Mailto haha). I agree that his games are cool and what he's doing is cool, but why not just put them in a PC games wheel?

The theme itself might not be a beauty to look at, but I'm interesting in having a Locomalito theme. So for me, that's some kind of "inspiration", if you can call it that. On the other hand, if he just took it from the FTP and called it his own... That's a rip off. I don't want to advertise for him, I just wanted to show, that there's a Locomalito theme out there. Why not the PC games wheel? Because mine is way crowded :-) I have "big" wheels like MAME and PC Games as well as "specialised" themes like Cave, Popcap, Touhou Project, etc.

I like your background a lot better than the websites though even though people are missing a lot by not a seeing what isn't presented. As I have stockpiled logos & backgrounds and had no intent on character art yet or the video overlay other than my global theme it didn't seem to be in standard format for an announcement. It's almost like starting a thread for each system which doesn't seem like a bad idea but they'd all need char art, overlays and size tweeks but there'd be a version a,b,c,d...of most systems. My bad to jump on this thread as I just stopped by half expecting to see somebody making a theme from the logo and background is all.
