- added .mp4 option for video check/match

- preliminary UNDO support (found in matcher options menu). There are so many combinations while matching, that I can't test them all, so it displays a message with actions that will be performed. Please, check them before clicking ok, until we are sure there is no bugs.

- removed annoying message "please select media", when clicking 'check' and the path is matcher is not empty.

Tested UNDO across all folders and multiple extensions including .mp4 and .cue/.bin. The only problem I ran into trying to undo the renaming INSIDE the .cue. The .cue and .bin files both get renamed back to the correct original file name, but inside the cue file does not.

Also the message box displays a couple of extra backslashes, but it does not affect anything.

Thanks alot.

Thank you! I REALLY apreciate this!

Yup... Completely forgot to restore .cue from backup. Will fix it right now. And extra backslashes in messagebox too...

Thank you again for quick report.

The Show only missing drop down doesn't seem to do anything. I set it to show only missing roms and it always lists everything no matter what I choose.

Also on your CD Image check/fix, I only see a check, where is the fix? It seems to list every game as Bin without cue, but when I open the cue, the bin is correctly mapped...?

Yes, this one is broken. I will reapre it today.

The fix was planned, but not implemented yet. As I said in first post "not all features work", sorry.

And this is very strange one. Can you send me one or two of your .cue files (I will create images myself), and a screenshot of your settings, please?

Settings are all default except path to hyperspin. Looks like it might be when track1 was renamed to match the romname, but the rest of the tracks were kept with track numbers.

Aaaaa! Multiple binaries! I did'nt realize the audio could also be in .bin! Ok, i understood, thank you! Will fix today.

- 'Show only missing' combobox now works

- CD Image checker now aware of .bin audio tracks

http://80.240.211.12/HyperspinChecker_bin_0.002u2.rar

todo:

- option to rename audio files associated with .cue

- add 'fixer' in CD Image checker.

Checker works better now and list show only what I selected, thanks.

One thing, the total count when filtering, can you update that so it shows the filtered total? Right now it always shows the "show all" total.

- fixed total counter, it's aware of filter now.

- xml fixer a little more accurate.

- fixed bug when using network paths in matcher (not very useful in most cases, but I needed this a lot :))

xttx - Great tool and easy to use, although I had a hard time finding your post again since it has a similar name to BladeZX's tool!

I just started back up on my Visual Pinball setup in my Arcade cabinet (running VP in 4:3 desktop on my cab) and found a small bug, I think. It appears to be setting the "video" folder for Visual Pinball to the previous system a "Check" was ran on. In the Matcher tab, even when I tell it to use a custom folder and point it to the correct Visual Pinball video folder, once I perform the "Associate" action, it's still copying the video files out of my Visual Pinball video folder and moving them to the Gamecube video folder (note: Gamecube was the last system I had ran a "Check" on). So, the Matcher seems to be using the custom folder fine to actually find the video files, but when it performs an "Associate", something is getting confused. Not a big deal, but thought I'd pass the info along. I've tried using both the System.ini and default Hyperspin Video location settings and happens for both. Let me know if you have any questions on my setup & thanks for the great tool.

I'm sorry, I didn't understood well, so i describe each possible case here:

If you do:

1). Select a system

2). Run "check"

3). Just go to custom folder in matcher without selecting another system,

then matcher will think that you continue to work with selected system. This is how it works, it uses the folder of the selected system.

If so, you can just uncheck "copy to default HyperSpin folder" checkbox in matcher options (just below "use custom folder")

Otherwise, if you actually select "Visual Pinball" in system list, then matcher should block all actions until you do "check" again (it needs to know what you have and what you have not to display the lists).

And the last case, if you select "Visual Pinball" in system list, and do recheck, and it continue to point you in wrong folder, there is definetly something wrong. In this case I would like you to post how to reproduce this behavior step by step, please.

I just want to say THANKS!!! This tool is like a dream come true! I have already fixed tons on errors in my cue files for many systems! I have been searching for something like this for ages!! I really appreciete this tool!

Just one thing: I get a crash everytime I try to check for megacd/segaCD (CD image check). I have no idea if the crash is due to my files/folder/PC or the tool itself. I don't get any wiser by the errors message either...."The length of the parameter can't be more than zero" (Me translating from swedish). Any clue what can cause this problem? All other systems works perfect to check. Also my sega cd are cue/bin files and works perfect. (Well I have not checked them in this tool obviously, but I have played a few and they run with sound etc) Oh and an ordinery check in the "summary" tab works perfect for sega cd too btw.

Thanks for the help!

I compiled a version, that will write a "HyperCheckerLog.txt" in its exe folder.

http://80.240.211.12/HyperspinChecker_bin_0.002u3_withlog.rar

So, could you help me to track this error, please?

All you need to do, is to grab this version and check you SegaCD folder with ISOChecker. It should crash as usual :D

Then check HyperCheckerLog.txt and send me the last .cue mentioned in this file.

I hope I could fix it with your help.

PS. Please, ignore 'fix' abilities in ISOChecker, it's work-in-progress and can cause unexpected result.
