CP Wizard and Marquee Magician have never worked for me outside of Mame(CP Wizard). I have it set to change the image with the wheel & On NES for instance i have created a marquee folder and loaded it with flyer art, box and cartridge art. A few issues i've ran into with my Windows 8 setup: 1. Haven't been able to load this program on start up yet, strangely it opens the notepad telling me it's started but that's it. 2. CP Wizard is causing it to loose focus (2 Monitor Setup) & also because i haven't figured out how to Open&Close CP wizard upon Launch of Mame and close That's really all i can think of right now, but this program has so much potential and so far it's run flawlessly on normal conditions.

He posted a script a few pages back. I no longer am using my cab or second monitor at the moment, but I may mess with this again in the future. So I cant tell you if it works or not!! Well i'm back with a small update: Upon system startup this program is still only opening the .txt file for it (back out of HS to launch it,atleast for me) Also the emulator that's giving me trouble is Daphne, which works fine on it's own, so after trying various settings nothing worked right unless i close Hyperspin Helper. Any thoughts?

Any thoughts?[/quote']Daphne should work fine. Just make sure each game is setup with the correct resolution for your monitor. Not sure what you mean about opening the .txt file for it? After installing hyperspin helper, HS starts fine and it shows "Retro Arcade" on my 2nd monitor, but when I scroll to a system I want to play and click it to enter the game wheel it kicks me back out to the main system wheel back to the first system. It's doing this for every system.

HSH crashes when windows starts. IDK, maybe its an issue with my system. ***EDIT*** "Shortcut"..... lol I put a copy of the exe in the Startup folder, not a shortcut. I replaced it with a shortcut, now it works!

Just posing this question again in case there's already a way to do it that I'm over looking. I'd really like the default marquee on my cab to have a simple GIF-like animation.

gooch Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Thanks man. BTW - I greatly improved the reliability on my rig by having a short Windows login script delete debug.log then recreate a blank one. It very well is just something wrong with my setup but I thought I'd share.

I've uninstalled the drive and catalyst software and tried reloading it will no luck. Gonna have to look at the animated gif option some other time. It will take me a while to get visual studio installed and everything I need to work on it. Sorry for the delays guys.
