yep mate im running dx11 ver 1.40.7 and no nag screen I had to add that wotsnew in the ahk module and after that it were ok. but when I update the module with the new one the wotsnew line weret there  so add to ad it again lol.

Cool, good to hear.

Yeah I let djvj know on the RLauncher forums that the whats new fix and the full table list need to be added to his module.

Hopefully he gets those in the next version and the module will finally be right.

pinball arcade update to 1.42.7 with new F14 tomcat table

Yep, I've already updated the database and the My_Tables list and submitted themn to the RLauncher team to be added in the next official update.

I'll also add them to my Pinball Arcade tutorial in just a minute.

Thank you all for this!! got it all up and running last night. Are we still supposed to see the automated process do it's thing, or is there a way to hide all that until the start button screen pops up?

Glad to help.

The module is built to keep it hidden when the Pinball Arcade Config settings (not module/RLauncher settings) are set to "Fullscreen Windowed".

However, Farsight didn't program the DX11 with a fullscreen windowed option so there is no way to hide it. Until Farsight adds it only the DX9 version stays hidden until the table actually loads.

I think I prefer watching it auto-select the tables though... The new table should be released soon. I'll update the module, database, My_Tables list and my tutorial then.

Hi all,

 

Could anybody shed some light on this. Pinball arcade works. It automaticallly selects the right table and starts the game, but after a while I get an error message. Does anybody know how to fix this? Thanks in advance!

AHK_Class_Gamewindowclass is the DX11 version.

Sounds like you have your module settings set to DX11 instead of DX9. So Rocketlauncher is waiting for the DX11 version to execute, but it never does. Check the module settings and make sure DX9 is selected correctly.

What's weird about that is the DX9 version you're launching shouldn't be auto-selecting the table then.

I'm using dx9. It took me an hour of trying a while back, I just kept trying and it worked. I think I had to unmute the emulator to make it work so I can hear it doing things, it take a minute or so to work but better than nothing. I just kept trying the first few dropdown a in rocket launcher and when it worked I tried not to breath. Mine still works but is slow

The module settings are in the same spot as they are for all systems.

In Rocketlauncher go to modules and click on the module settings tab. This will bring up the screen with the different settings mentioned in the module instructions. If you haven't already read the instructions then this is also the place you can click on the module instructions to read what you're supposed to do. You might also read my tutorial below if you haven't already.

From looking at that log everything seems to be working correctly, although I did notice you have a couple naming issues to check. Here's the part of the log showing it looking for (and finding) the correct DX9 version (Waiting for "Pinball Arcade ahk_class Pinball Arcade"). No where in this log was it even looking for "ahk_class Gamewindowclass" which is the DX11 version error you posted the screenshot of. However it looks like you started and exited the game immediately before it ever gave you the error? Can you run it again, but let it run until you get the error screen again so I can see if the log shows what caused it?

 

Also check your names. Your .exe has a space in it (Pinball Arcade.exe). Try changing it to PinballArcade.exe with no space and update the path. Also your database shows that you don't have the "a" in arcade capitalized, so you actually have it as Pinball arcade (instead of Pinball Arcade)? Shouldn't matter for what we're checking, just pointing it out because having different caps in names can really screw up Hyperspin database/media/emulator stuff if they don't match exactly. If that's how all your folders/media etc are already titled then you should be fine.

Thank you Metal! I had to rename the exe to PinballArcade.exe without the space and it worked! Thanks again!

Awesome! I had a feeling that was it, but wasn't 100% sure and didn't want to get your hopes up if I was wrong.

Glad it's working. I'll add that it must be named correctly to my tutorial.

The new table Mary Shelly's Frankenstein is supposed to launch next Friday so I'll be updating the module, My Tables list etc... then. I'll have the update posted in my tutorial topic and the next time Rocketlauncher auto-updates it should be in as well.

Yeah. I'll be grabbing those on PS4 and Vita though. I'm not going to invest in the PC version until they come out with Pinball FX/Zen 3 which should be this coming year.

anyone happen to have an xml database of ver 1.38.9 DX11? didnt see anything for pinball arcade in the hyperlists...

1.38.9? There's no reason to keep old XML's around so I doubt you'll find one. With only 60 tables it would only take a couple minutes to remove the tables missing from your version from the XML though. Far faster than looking for a matching XML.
