Pinball arcade runs in dx11 but no matter what game I select just stops at the main menu....query I have to press "1" to select stuff not "enter" does this matter? Which/who's module are you using? (mine above? a different one?). It sounds like you have the DX11 version in the module options, but don't have the exe changed. Here's the instructions I posted before: 1. To get Pinball Arcade to run in DX11 the .exe needs to be renamed (for me it's in Steam/steamapps/common/pinball arcade). I rename "PinballArcade.exe" to "PinballArcadeDX9.exe" then rename "PinballArcade11.exe" to "PinballArcade.exe" 2. After that make sure you have DX11 version selected in the module settings. 3. Make sure you have all of your tables listed, in alphabetical order and exactly matching your database names in "MyTable". Copying/pasting someone elses will not work if your database doesn't match exactly. 4. Like I mentioned in my notes above you may need to change lines 148 and 149 of the module depending on if you own all the tables or if you don't. Those lines are clearly marked with instructions in the module I customized, not in the official one. I'm not sure what you mean you need to press 1 to start? Pinball Arcade uses the enter key.

Because you aren't using the module I fixed and posted above (in post #122, I also posted it way back on page 2, but use the newer #122 version), I made that module specifically to fix that problem. There's a glitch in TPA that causes the "What's New" screen to pop-up randomly over and over. When this pops up it breaks the flow of the script. The official module doesn't fix this (although djvj said he was going to add it into the newest version). I knew you weren't using mine because you mentioned you needed to change sleep to 7000 (which it already is in mine) and you needed to add Roadshow (which is already in mine) EVERYONE: Use my fixed, custom module I posted in post #122, not the official one. Mine is the one that actually works, that's why I posted it. Oh, and read post #122! Just don't forget to change your MyTables settings to match your table names, not mine. EDIT: In fact I'll go delete my table names from the module I posted so it doesn't screw anyone up.

Metalzoic Posted July 5, 2015 Author Posted July 5, 2015 Cool let me know. If your names are right it should then all work perfect. The only thing that doesn't is the fade in screen, but that's because the DX11 version doesn't have a "windowed fullscreen" mode yet.

Mike a programmer at Farsight built that fix in for me after I kept bugging him about it here: http://pinballarcadefans.com/showthread.php/10320-Mike-can-you-guys-please-fix-the-nag-screen His fix then let me fix the module and now it all runs perfect other than fade (which will be fixed in an update or two). Glad you got it running mate (HA!)

Metalzoic Posted July 5, 2015 Author Posted July 5, 2015 I just looked over the latest module DJVJ released day before yesterday and it looks like he has included my fix for the nag screen, my fixes for the key inputs and my instructions for lines 148 & 149 in the official version. So from here on out official versions should actually work (until Farsight glitches something else, HA!). I'll test it to make sure right now then post it here. EDIT: Has my fixes and changes in place and seems to work like a champ. It also has a new setting DJVJ added called "Start Game", leave it to false to have it start the game at the main table screen (or table history screen if you've never played the table before) just like my module does. Or set it to true to have the module actually start the table, skipping the main table menu, attract mode, options, multiplayer etc... Personally I prefer this to be false. This is the latest official module that RocketLauncher is now auto-updating to.

In your module change line 129 to this (spaces before and all): Run(executable, emuPath,"skipwhatsnew")And see if that fixes it. The pop-up is random so you'll have to launch several tables to be sure. Say 10 launches with no What's New pop up.
