Sorry...all tables-standalone

Ok, so if you've been following the thread you know we're trying to get the standalone version running right now so sit tight.

And you still didn't answer the question of which module you're using.

I noticed that Djvj had // in his line here

What?

What line are you referring to and in which module exactly?

Posted

tried it with "" first and gave erro so tried without "" and it ran but nag screen still there mate.

Damn. What error did it give you?

I just tried launching my exe with "skipwhatsnew" (in quotes) added and it launched 15 times straight with no nag screen.

Who is using RL and who is using HLHQ 3? Because the module has some stuff in it that HLHQ would not support.

What stuff is it that won't work in the newest one?

I just tested the newest one in HyperLaunchHQ (I have one drive running HyperLaunchHQ 3 and my main HDD running RocketLauncher 1.0 so I can test both) and it works, settings work, will launch the game and go to the correct table, exits as it should etc...

It seemed to work perfectly. The Custom Module I posted earlier was made for HyperLaunchHQ though if someone would rather use that one though.

Andy moved from hyperlaunch3. Just me now I guess. I hope Andys post works for me else I'll have to upgrade

(Tapatalk)

I moved to RocketLauncher 2 days ago, but I didn't run the upgrade tool (I followed Austins guide originally so my Hyperspin and HyperLaunchHQ folders were mixed). I didn't want any trouble so I did an HS 1.4 and RL 1.0 install from scratch then just moved over my settings/modules etc...

Took longer, but everything is running perfect

Is it possible to get it working without RL? I am trying to avoid upgrading as of right now. However I was debating just buying another ssd and attempting a second hyperspin setup with RL until I get everything migrated the way I want. It would honestly only be to get arcade pinball working with each table. The new module from metalzoic errors out for me and I realized it was asking for features HL doesn't have.

I am using your modded one from post 122.

The // were in your post 180

Are you talking about the commas? Those need to be in that line. djvj didn't write that line, I did. That's the line that makes the Whats New page stop popping up on the Steam version

Steam(238260,,"skipwhatsnew")
The other line is the one we're trying to get working for your stand-alone version and it didn't work with those commas

Run(executable "skipwhatsnew", emuPath)

What does the error say?

You don't need to have RocketLauncher. I just tested it in HyperLaunchHQ and even the newest module worked perfectly in both HyperLaunchHQ and RocketLauncher.

No I meant the double back slashes....what are they for as they seem to be missing or removed. (I'm not a scriptwriter)

I don't know man. I just did a search of both modules and there aren't any double backslashes in either one of them even once.

They both have a double forward slash (MURL = http://www.pinballarcade.com/), but that's just for a website url and not any of the actual script

Wow... weird man. They must be caused by tapatalk because those don't exist in the actual module or in the posts when viewed on a PC.

We were seeing 2 different things. Now we know not to read code from tapatalk. Ha! I'm glad you figured that out or we'd be confusing each other for days!

Thanks to jeremy0203 & Brolly for figuring out the script bit needed to make it work on the standalone versions we should be all set. Here are the two modules, newest RocketLauncher version and the HyperLaunchHQ version. The newest RLUI version uses the .isd file that Rocketlauncher auto-updates to. I tried to post it here, but it won't let me attach an .isd file. This might be why some of you were getting errors trying the newer module with HLHQ. So just use the HLHQ version. The only difference between modules is the Table Start module setting which is minor.

-Both have had the MRC, iCRC and mId lines removed from the module so that they will show as yellow (customized) in HLHQ/RLUI and RocketLauncher won't overwrite them when it updates (not a worry in HLHQ).

-Both are for The Pinball Arcade version 1.39.9

-Both have all 60 tables labeled (if you don't own all the tables then you must follow the module instructions on updating the My Tables module setting)

-Both have the "What's New" nag-screen disabled for both Steam and standalone versions.

RocketLauncherUI version:

HyperLaunchHQ version:

Here is the 100% complete and matching database.

-Has all 60 tables

-Black Knight and Black Knight 2000 have been fixed (were out of order on some XML versions)

-This database XML is for either module version.

Database both versions:

I'll put this together ionto another topic so new people wanting to get this set up don't have to dig though 10+ pages of us trying to sort it out. Hope it works for you guys now.

OK so here is where I am at.  I am still getting the error after using the latest module posted.  It seems like I am probably missing a setting.ini file and possibly the module ini file?  That is what I suspect anyway from the error but I could be wrong.  I don't really see anywhere to put the location of that said file though besides the same module name.ini file that would also be in the module folder.  Here is a link to an image of the error I get when I try to launch arcade pinball with the new module.

It says that it is specifically having a problem with your rotate method. The error arrow is pointing out line 338 as the problem.

Did you set your module settings to rotate, because you didn't mention that in your post.

I believe the ini files should already exist or be automatically created when you enter your module settings in HLHQ/RLUI.

To be sure I'll add them in post #203 anyway.

EDIT: Nevermind this site won't let us upload .ini's or .isd's.

Epay, this was the error I was getting yesterday, I'm on RocketLauncher still. I hanvt tried the stuff from post203 yet but I really hope that fixes the issue.

You had the same error? Did you set yours to rotate?

If you are both changing the settings to rotate and both erroring then maybe the rotate part of the module isn't working right.

I've never tried rotating my display to test it. Both modules work perfectly normal though.
