@Dime333 I just installed KB5050411 & HyperSpin is still working on Windows 11 Pro. All updates are installed nothing blocked. My HyperSpin Drive is not on C:Drive it's on E:Drive with it excluded entirely from Windows Defender but also I have controlled folder access turned off so not sure if that has any effect or not as not tried it with controlled folder access turned on. Windows 11 Pro deleted some HyperSpin files so I had to put the missing files back, if you can try HyperSpin on a Windows 10 to make sure it's working as that's how I knew Windows 11 Pro deleted some files but before I ran HyperSpin on Windows 11 Pro I excluded the E:Drive from Windows defender first. Nothing is blocked, all updates are installed, I just moved everything to a different drive, not the operating system drive, replaced files windows 11 removed, then excluded that drive from windows defender & everything now works on windows 11 pro.

@jesfknkrys I have these updates installed & no further updates it says & nothing blocked. it shows KB5055523 is installed but windows 11 deleted some files when trying to run HyperSpin which I only found out when trying to run again on windows 10. I put the files back & put drive back into windows 11 then excluded the drive entirely from windows defender. HyperSpin is now working in windows 11 PRO so might be different on HOME editions. I don't see this update in my list but it says up to date when i click on check for updates. (KB5053598) when did above update come out ?

I have all the updates installed on windows 11 pro & just found out that when you run HyperSpin the first time with all the updates it deletes some files as I put in my windows 10 pc & it wouldn't work so replaced the files & added an exclusion in windows 11 pro & wow HyperSpin satrted working again. What I want to know will 25h2 fix it when available to all but I got a friend who has all the updates & hyperspin still works so why does it work for some & not others?

@jh79 jesfknkrys is the 1 to ask I haven't tried yet myself as been downloading for days & don't want to stop it. 300GB left but will post here if it doesn't work

They have released a windows 11 iot ltsc 24h2 but i don't know if hyperspin works on that version yet so i hope someone can test it as it might not have those updates in that break it. I'm on windows 11 pro & can't uninstall KB5055523 so how can i uninstall it as in my uninstall updates it's not listed to uninstall. @jesfknkrys Someone said a clean install of windows 11 / pro that you have to update everything first then start HyperSpin is that still true ? if not do you know the exact copy of windows 11 to install e.g. Windows 11 Pro 23H2 Build 22631.3296
