I have the Hidden Only filter issue, thats bug has been reported. My system the media image type persists as I set it between system. It is global for all systems though (Can you report that as a standalone bug and add a couple of screenshots to help confirm?) MAME plugin has some other issues also. Worth doing a separate bug for that and list your steps.

added a crude script to make escape close all pinball FX programs

I was just playing with this and @32assassin thread linked. I have set the DuckStation "Open Pause Menu" Hotkey to P instead of Escape. I have set the "Power Off System" Hotkey to Escape In the HyperHQ Platform settings for DuckStation I added the -batch command to the launching. Seems to work fine with latest releases of HQ and HS

Create blank files named with the Table Number and file extension .fxt, for the tables you own. HyperHQ databases need the fxt extension to sync media. Example Table 75.fxt (For the table Wild West Rampage) add/create the Table number launch files into a folder to use as your games path in HyperHQ (Example C:/Games/Pinball FX/Table 33.fxt) Now add the "System" Pinball FX Point game folder to the folder with your Table ##.fxt files (Example C:/Games/Pinball FX/Table 33.fxt) Add extension fxt to the extension filter when adding Enable cabinet mode in Pinball FX settings Table Numbers Elvira and the Party Monsters – 197 Scared Stiff – 198 PIN·BOT™ – 194 TAXI™ – 196 WHO dunnit™ – 195 Tomb Raider Pinball: Adventures of Lara Croft – 182 Tomb Raider Pinball: Secrets of Croft Manor – 192 Banzai Run™ – 188 Earthshaker!™ – 189 Black Knight™ 2000 – 190 Camp Bloodbrook – 191 (available on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Epic Games Store) The Princess Bride Pinball – 184 Goat Simulator Pinball – 187 Pacific Rim Pinball – 186 Battlestar Galactica Pinball – 170 Xena: Warrior Princess Pinball – 167 Knight Rider Pinball – 177 Super League Football – 36 Wild West Rampage – 75 Fish Tales – 108 Sorcerer’s Lair – 33 System Shock Pinball – 183 (available on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Epic Games Store) Terraforming Mars Pinball – 173 Gloomhaven™ Pinball – 179 Exploding Kittens®: A Pinball Cat-astrophe – 178 Star Trek™ Pinball: Kelvin Timeline – 166 Star Trek™ Pinball: Discovery – 169 Star Trek™ Pinball: Deep Space Nine – 172 A Charlie Brown Christmas™ Pinball – 181 Epic Quest – 67 Excalibur – 20 South Park™: Super Sweet Pinball – 4 South Park™: Butters’ Very Own Pinball Game – 55 Crypt of the NecroDancer Pinball – 161 Kong Pinball – 153 Godzilla Pinball – 158 Godzilla vs Kong Pinball – 160 DreamWorks Kung Fu Panda Pinball – 139 DreamWorks Trolls Pinball – 140 DreamWorks How to Train Your Dragon Pinball – 141 Peanuts’ Snoopy Pinball – 146 Garfield Pinball – 145 Homeworld®: Journey to Hiigara Pinball – 150 Borderlands®: Vault Hunter Pinball – 152 Brothers in Arms®: Win the War Pinball – 151 Star Wars™ Pinball: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back – 43 Star Wars™ Pinball: The Clone Wars – 47 Star Wars™ Pinball: Boba Fett – 53 Star Wars™ Pinball: Han Solo – 10 Star Wars™ Pinball: Droids™ – 58 Star Wars™ Pinball: Episode IV A New Hope – 12 Star Wars™ Pinball: Masters of the Force – 2 Star Wars™ Pinball: The Mandalorian – 136 Star Wars™ Pinball: Classic Collectibles – 137 Star Wars™ Pinball: Episode VI Return of the Jedi – 24 Star Wars™ Pinball: Darth Vader – 28 Star Wars™ Pinball: Starfighter Assault – 6 Star Wars™ Pinball: The Force Awakens™ – 88 Star Wars™ Pinball: Might of the First Order – 89 Star Wars™ Pinball: Star Wars Rebels™ – 77 Star Wars™ Pinball: Rogue One™ – 98 Star Wars™ Pinball: The Last Jedi™ – 103 Star Wars™ Pinball: Ahch-To Island – 104 Star Wars™ Pinball: Solo – 105 Star Wars™ Pinball: Battle of Mimban – 107 Star Wars™ Pinball: Calrissian Chronicles – 106 E.T.™ Pinball – 96 Back to the Future™ Pinball – 97 Jaws™ Pinball – 95 Jurassic Park™ Pinball – 100 Jurassic World™ Pinball – 101 Jurassic Park Pinball Mayhem™ 102 A Samurai’s Vengeance – 165 Verne’s Mysterious Island – 164 Wrath of the Elder Gods – 147 Grimm Tales – 155 Pinball Noir – 123 Curse of the Mummy – 112 Sky Pirates: Treasures of the Clouds – 113 Adventure Land – 29 Son of Zeus – 80 CastleStorm – 40 Secrets of the Deep – 66 Rome – 31 Biolab – 27 Pasha – 23 Williams Twilight Zone – 162 Williams™ Pinball: Star Trek™: The Next Generation – 163 Williams Whirlwind – 168 Williams The Addams Family – 156 Williams World Cup Soccer – 157 Williams The Machine: Bride of Pin·Bot – 148 Williams Swords of Fury™ -149 Williams FunHouse – 134 Williams Space Station – 129 Williams Dr. Dude and his Excellent Ray – 135 Williams Medieval Madness™ – 109 Williams The Getaway: High Speed II™ – 111 Williams JunkYard™ – 110 Williams Attack from Mars™ – 119 Williams Black Rose™ – 118 Williams The Party Zone™ – 120 Williams Theatre of Magic™ – 117 Williams Safe Cracker™ – 122 Williams The Champion Pub™ – 121 Williams Monster Bash™ – 130 Williams Creature from the Black Lagoon™ – 131 Williams Indiana Jones™: The Pinball Adventure – 133 Williams Cirqus Voltaire™ – 127 Williams Tales of the Arabian Nights™ – 132 Williams No Good Gofers™ – 128 Williams White Water™ – 124 Williams Red and Ted’s Road Show™ – 125 Williams Hurricane™ – 126 Hasbro’s MY LITTLE PONY – 138 World War Z Pinball – 154 Iron Man – 65 Spider-Man – 46 Blade – 45 Wolverine – 71 Fantastic Four -38 Captain America – 48 Doctor Strange – 30 Ghost Rider – 21 Thor – 7 X-Men – 59 Moon Knight – 49 Civil War – 1 Deadpool – 22 Venom – 73 Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy – 50 Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron – 78 Marvel’s Ant-Man – 79 World War Hulk – 56 Fear Itself – 5 The Infinity Gauntlet – 60 Marvel’s The Avengers – 17 Marvel’s Women of Power: A-Force – 93 Marvel’s Women of Power: Champions – 94 Source Information https://www.pinballfx.com/?page_id=7754 Data.zip

I think you may be right. I think wait for the next public release. I shouldn’t be to far away.

Problem with Sega Genesis Not Finding ROMS
thatman84 replied to JohnnyChimpo's topic in Emulators & Systems
Are the file extensions correct? -
You should definitely have media. close HyperHQ and right click and hit quit on the HQ icon in the system tray. Then reopen, if nothing downloads there’s a bug. you can try hitting refresh games in the mame games menu. That should go off and check for media. also you can try validating cache in HyperHQ settings cog top right of the progam.

Do you have a link to the theme you created in HyperTheme? im sure I tested it a while back but not recently. I may give it a try when I next poke around in HyperTheme

Correct the roms don't matter on mame import. It just reads the game info from the mame game info not the roms themselves. -

Nice, most of your time configuring will be spent in HyperHQ. check out the Docs tab in the forum title bar. It’s really got most stuff covered now -

That is an error with HyperHQ. Check the plugins tab on the main screen and check if mame plugin is there and updated. A couple of the other testers have had this error recently so devs are aware -
The guys think they know what it is and will test/fix it up in the next week or two not holding anyone to time frames though. It’s made it to the list at least
-
Be handy to see those game names if possible? Help diagnose the technical logic issue
-
I’m checking to see if it’s a HQ or DB error. will report back when I know more

rondar's HyperSpin 2 HD Game Themes - Arcade PC/Teknoparrot WIP
thatman84 replied to rondar's topic in HyperTheme
That is an awesome theme and breakdown of the process. Not played that game and now I have to give it a shot -
Example not exact buttons:- If Lctrl is retropad A port1 and Retropad B is Z Port 1 Launch Atari game (Stella Core) go into Quick Menu F1 and choose Controls Remap. If Fire is retropad B you change it to Retropad A and save the remap file. You can only swap the configuration of the buttons assigned to Port1 Retropad.
-
Your in the right spot. ipac is just a keyboard afaik so setup all of your 4player keyboard buttons in the Port1-4 menu (No Core loaded) Retroarch is based on controllers. So you set your buttons which are fixed per player. You then reassign the emulated console button to already fixed keys per player in the Quick Menu -> Controls section Save Remap. Be aware of hotkeys, menu keys and emulated cores that accept keyboard by default (MAMECore, Amiga etc) more info here https://docs.libretro.com/guides/input-and-controls/#keyboard-controls it’s kinda reversed to most emulators where the emulated system controller is fixed and you click to assign the physical button you have.
-
Possibly, I won't be at the computer for a few days. Similar layout across all platforms so here is a shot from my android RetroArch. Main Menu Settings -> Input -> Port 1 Controls
-
Probably worth opening retroarch directly from the emulators folder and see if the ipac is recognised in the input-port1 settings and mapping those how you would like as a default 1st.
-
Added to the bug tracker do you have anymore info on emulators/system/game this happens with. Does it happen the 1st run of HS after a reboot?
-
HS2 is in beta still which means frequent updates and potential for breaking updates. It’s not time to hard swap yet but 100% worth getting setup along side your current 1.5 system to see all developments that have been cooking for the last few years

I only have 3 systems to play with but it all seems ok with the exception of moving a wheel to the bottom, which is easily worked around Will need to add enough systems to fill the list on-screen 20260102-1833-51.9693610.mp4

literally just turned my PC on to see if I have this issue

5. The ability to skip all filtering and just import the rooms in your room folder has been added to the latest release. Overrides are Def working for me. Try validating cache in the HyperHQ settings. And hitting the refresh in the games page. Try closing hyperHQ and quit the program in system tray then open again.
