Hi, I'm after a few pointers and advice please. I've dabbled in emulators on and off but only to play a particular game when i fancied a trip down memory lane. Now though i would like to put a collection together from commodore 64 upto playstaion 1 kind of era. I have and old i3 rig with 2gb gpu and 8gb ram running win 7. Any help welcome. Thanks.

Hi guys, I'm Steve from Manchester, I've been on the scene since the Amiga days and have the nickname Maniac while coding for many hacking/warez groups - them days are now behind me and I am more in to Emulation, 3D Graphics and my music I work in IT and own my own business and I have a photography company too - I dont get much spare time but when I do I love to play and mess about setting up systems for friends I am just trying to get in to Hyperspin and Rocket Launcher I will try to help with the IT stuff if I can.

Hello, I have been trying frantically to set up HS to load my mame roms, however it's not working at all. I went into the main settings and edited the mem.ini: [exe info] path=c:\mame\ rompath=c:\mame\roms\ userompath=true exe=mame64.exe romextension=zip Nothing works. What am I missing here?

And a fine how-do-you-do this morning too. Just registered an account on you nice people's forum, figured I'd say hello. I was just going to grab some wheel art and never participate, but ran into account creation problems and ended up accidentally promising Circo I'd be an upstanding member of the community, figured I'd get started by introducing myself. I'm inedible. I found out about hyperspin through the digitpress forums back in aught-eight or so, but never got around to setting it up until a couple years ago. Been building ever since, and I hope to have a functional system within a few years. (*crosses fingers*) So, how's the weather, eh?

Hey everybody!! Name is Greg, from New York.. Arcade, old school, new school gamer here! Currently sold most of my arcade PCB's to build myself a nice budget PC mainly for Arcade gaming. No more PCB issues and repairs!! Starting my first build and will be posting up threads and will definitely need some help with getting Hyperspin/Mame (and possibly Dolphin for Wii!) installed. So, I hope all goes well with this new addition to my addiction!

Hello everyone... I was just reconsidering the idea of building a Hyperspin Machine (built 2 arcade joysticks in the past with chtulhu boards and custom wooden boxes) and have never been ready to tackle the software side of this as it seems too much hassle. Now there is Hyperspin + RocketLauncher + HyperSync + HyperBase and everything seems to be a little more humanly possible. Will be lurking around here for a bit until I build my first system (which probably is going to be NES). G'day all Just a new member here. I recently purchased a MAME converted cabinet with an old hyperspin setup. It works well but struggles with some of the more recent games so I'll be upgrading it to new PC with a quad core i7.
