hi all, New to hyperspin. My first introduction was from a video related to "TinyArcadeMachines", ie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zdvfz7dfGfY Having never seen hyperspin before i was very impressed :). I have an icade but after seeing that video and other bartop arcade examples, i need to Upgrade! One thing tho. hyperspin demos show actual game play. Specifically referring to coin op games, (let's say Robotron 2084). What about the demo it plays when not in use? ie: The Robotron demo walks through a number of intro screens plus high score ...etc. I want hyperspin to play those when i'm not actively playing? Many of the coin-op arcades have cool '…

Hello, I'm ThePowerPlayer. I'm new to these forums but have been working with HyperSpin for a couple of months now. I think I'm doing great so far, and I plan to continue. I've been playing video games for a long time, and working on HyperSpin not only allows me to play old favorites and discover new games, but also lets me learn more about computers and troubleshooting when something goes wrong. Still, when I started learning how to use HyperSpin, it turned out to be easy for the most part. I look forward to interacting with the members of the forum and having a great time!

Wanted to pop in and properly introduce myself. I'm a long time gamer, but just of the classic consoles and arcade systems. I've never really been a fan of PC gaming. About a year ago my NES, SNES, and Atari collection grew a little to large to manage, so I boxed it up and shoved it into the attic. Missing those games, about a month ago, I did my first Raspberry Pi build so I could play all my favorites again. The research on RetroPie led me here. Since I've got a ton of woodworking experience, I've decided to make the jump and dedicate a PC for emulating and build a full on arcade cabinet for the basement. I fell in love with Hyperspin from the moment I saw i…

Hello to all members from Bimbo in the UK. I love emulation and all things related. I have collected many computers and consoles over the years, most of them bought new going back to those heady days of the launch of the good old ZX81. Once i had bought this dinky little computer, i was totaly hooked and still am at the age of 62. There is just something quite special of reliving those good old days and a lot of those that know me, think that i am mad loving it like i do. But what do they know, maybe they would sooner go down the pub or have a toke. Any way thanks for allowing me to become a member of a wonderful comunity.

First of all I'd like to thank everyone that contributes to this amazing site. I've been able to set up my HS with the help of all of you. My name is joe from Paramount, Ca and im totally obsessed with this front end. Started doing retropie at first but quickly switched over when I discovered HS. It is a little intimidating at first but as soon as you set up your first system, MAME, then it kind of becomes easier. Thank you again to all of you who submit media and resolve issues.

Hello HyperSpin people, I'm Kev aka "Ark" or "Arkenahten". I normally don't post to forums, or use social media for that matter but I feel I should take a moment to just say how nice it is to see a friendly forum free of trolls and full of people ready to help with anything and everything emulator related. I have been playing with emulators for years and would you believe It never occurred to me that it could all be handled by one GUI! So after crawling out from under my rock and looking a little further into it i found HyperSpin and have pretty much fallen down the rabbit hole (with great results!). So yeah, G'day from Australia and thanks to the HyperSpin…

Just a quick hello to all. Getting back into the emulation scene after many years away from it and cannot believe just how far things have come from the first days of mame. Have to send a big thank you to Simply Austin for his tutorials otherwise I may have given up trying to get things up and running long before now, but with the info (and waffle) have muddled thru and am now adding systems without a care in the world Dave.
