Hi, I seem to be having issues with Hyperspin loading, for some reason when I start Hyperspin, it sits in the taskbar and will not load. It was working but not its not. Anyone have any suggestions? Currently running Windows 10, Using Hyperspin 1.4

Hi guys I am using xpadder and editing the keyboard keys to work with various games, Mame, dreamcast, PC games etc This works well when given the option to customize the keys in the PC game itself, however there are some games that I need to create a whole new profilem however when I launch the game exe I cant find a way to auto load a new profile for that specific game Is there a gamepad tool like joytokey/xpadder where I can create different profiles for different games and when booting the exe of the pc game via hyperspin- it switches to the profile created? Thanks guys

Hi, Im PC Savvie and I understand windows xp , folder structures etc. Ive followed the following guide for setting u Hyperspin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDEaS-cKleI. Great tutorial, worked great. Th ePC I have is really basic, windows XP Home edition, service pack 3, net2 and 4 installed, pentium 4 3.2, 1 GB ram etc. I bought an arcade cabinet and i have a combat king dual controller ready to integrate into the cabinet. My main emulators will be MAME and Daphne. I have all the rooms and laserdiscs and they work just fine standalone, its an old version of MAME 32, 0,98.00. This has likely been answered already, but I'm apparently not using the right words in the forum search box. I am making rom revision collections in MAME, and I want the description to show the full information without hiding text. I have Remove Textfield Info unchecked, yet it still only shows the game title. I'm going to need someone that is going to be willing to be extremely patient with me here because I am brand new to all of this. I have read through a lot of posts and get lost in a lot of what people are saying. I wanted to build a system so I could learn how to do all of this but I work a lot and whenever I started I just got overwhelmed. Hello , Could somebody help how to bypass this launcher . I tried myself some things but can't seem to find it . I found some info , but i don't have this original steam_api.dll in that folder ? I could make a shortcut , and in Application target i could set a parameter line . I know this is really basic but I'm brand new to this and it's a frustrating simple problem. I have set up HyperSpin and Rocket Launcher, and have so far got Mame set up to work. I can start the games through RlauncherUI to test connection, but I can't get any of them to start in HyperSpin. I'm using a keyboard right now til I know I have it functional and have the keys I want set in HQ. If someone could give me some advice or guidance on this I would appreciate it

Hey All, Been away from the scene for a while. Working on completing my systems. I am now on C64. For roms, I have Gamebase v15, Tosec and No Intro. For some reason, I am unable to match my roms from any set to the current XML which I think is based on GB v15. Only ~1000 match out of 8000. I am referring to the latest wahoobrians XML (http://hyperspin-fe.com/files/file/12546-commodore-64-official-database/) Am I missing anything? Can anyone point me to the correct XML or some advice on how I can match 8000 roms? Thanks in advance!

I can't get mame 0.192 to pick up my ctrlr folder for my custom controls. I had this working in 0.172 just fine Is there something different I have to do? I have the path set to ctrlr in my ini file and my ini path to ini and all my ini files are in the ini folder and all my ctrlr files are in the ctrlr folder. Any help would be appreciated Thanks!!!

I built a 4 player mame cabinet awhile back with an old Ipac4 i bought years ago but never really finished it. Finally getting it set up! I installed hyperspin 1.33 and rocketlauncher 1.2.0.0 using the hyperspin youtube video. I'm pretty new to all of this. I have RetroArch 1.7.0 installed to run my MAME games through hyperspin and rocketlauncher. On certain games, Street Fighter II champion edition USA 920313 for example, I try and start a game, it loads the game, but then the hyperspin GUI pops up on top of the loaded rom. Hi I'm running Hyperspin on Windows 7 in conjunction with Rocketlauncher, everything works fine, BUT the very first ROM I attempt to execute (regardless of the system - MAME or others) always takes a very loooooong time to load - sometimes 20 seconds or longer. I hit the start button -- and Hyperspin just sits idle for a lengthy period -- and then all of a sudden, Rocketlauncher takes over (as expected) and boots the ROM. The funny thing is -- this only happens the very first time I launch a ROM. After I launch the first ROM, exit back to HS, and launch other ROMs, everything works as expected (i.e., no delays whatsoever). Granted, this is a minor annoyance, but…

Hi, I am new to Hyperspin but learning a little every day. I bought a used upright system that was already setup, loaded and ready to enjoy but I noticed some emulators were missing when scrolling through the Hyperspin list. I figured they were just never loaded so I exited Hyperspin and went into Windows and looked in the D drive were the emulators are kept. I noticed Applewin and Atari 800 emulator folders were there with the rest but those 2 don't show up in the Hyperspin list. I think there may be a few others that show up in the D drive folder but don't show up in the Hyperspin list... what am I missing? Why are they not loading in Hyperspin? Thanks

I need a MAME.xml file that contains information on buttons, players, controller type, etc. I can't seem to find one or make one. I want to use this xml to use Dons Hyperfilter and remove all games that my arcade doesn't support. Thanks edit: Nevermind I see what I was doing wrong. I needed that XML file from the mame website.

I just picked up a complete arcade upright system that boots directly to Hyperspin... how do I toggle between Hyperspin and back to Windows? I assume its a keyboard command. Sorry but obviously I'm a novice with this stuff. Thanks!

Hi everyone. I am Hyperspin-beginner. I have tried to Google but I haven´t found anyone with my type of problem. I have the following Hyperspin 1.4 Rocketlaunch 1.0.1.0 Romset 0.171 Mame for 0.171 Hyperspin starts and show all emulators like MAME, Atari and many others on the wheel. With keyboard arrows up and down I can scroll through the emulators. But when I press enter on MAME (have only MAME installed so far) then Hyperspin try to "go into" MAME for showing all the games. But Hyperspin just go back to wheel with all emulators. Hyperspin dont list the MAME roms wheel. I cant see any games. Inside RocketLauncher I can start the games that I have …

Afternoon to All! Hope someone can help, i'm a complete n00b regarding Hyperspin lol I bought a Hyperspin system from a seller in the UK, he is sending me a SFF PC wih hyperspin installed, said Hyperspin is configured to be used with an Xbox 360 wired pad, which is fine by me. The question is that can i buy any other controllers that were built for the Xbox 360 (like the arcade pads or the fighting gamepads) and would it work as soon as i plugged it into the hyperspin setup or would i have to configure that pad to every single emulator in the system? Any help into this would be appreciated, thank you

Hi guys, Im having problems running epsxe through rocketlauncher/hyperlaunch. The emulator works fine if I open it via the application directly, however when I open it in RLUI I can locate the roms, the emu path is set correctly but when I launch a game I get the following There was an error waiting for the window "ePSXe ahk_class "EPSX. Please check you have the correct version emulator installed for this module I am running ePSXe ver 1.9 I am still a noob so any help is greatly appreciated Thanks
