Hello, i am receiving the error; There was an error waiting for the window "ahk_class MAME" to become active. Please check that you have the correct version emulator installed for this module...... Before this appeared i had a complete working system and was finishing up and decided to allow the rocketlauncher to upgrade as it has been popping up every time i opened the UI program. once i got the error i thought 'bummer', but didn't think it was a big deal because i had a backup of the entire system. (NICE!) so i copied over my backup that i made before the update to take the system back before the upgrade. i try the system and i am getting the same error? (Uh oh!) …

The new databases section is great but clicking 100 + links and then creating genre.xml for every system seems laborious is there a pack somewhere with them all in? If not, what is the easiest way of creating the genre.xml for each system i don't want to have to write each one Thanks

Brand new here and I would appreciate some help. When I first started up Hyperspin, it worked well, but at some point, all of the audio shut off. When I go into the games, the audio is fine. Its also fine in Rocketlauncher. Byt with HS, no wheel sounds, videos are muted, etc. I think it must be a setting somewhere, but I can't figure out where. Any suggestions?

Can anyone be of assistance to help me with a lightgun problem? when I use lightgun and play virtua cop (mame hyperspin) for instance the screen goes haywire when i press trigger quickly and screen goes back to windows desktop but i can hear game running in background of hyperspin? This only happens with light gun games. I think its a setting in windows but forgot how to fix it . Thanks a lot for any help:) Im running windows 10

Hey Guys... I've had this issue with a couple of systems and searched quite a few times in google and in here for an answer but it doesn't seem to have been asked before so here goes.... Up to now with the Atari Lynx and Nintendo DS i'm getting an error message in the Rom Re-namer (Rons) that says "It appears that this XML file does not have any crc tags for your games. Either the system is not currently supported or your xml file is out of date" I've downloaded xml files from the hyperlist and tried to make xml files in Rons tools but to no avail. so i have slowly been getting the hang of hyperspin (with alot of youtube help) i have struggled with the xml issue long story short, i wanted all the data for the roms i do have without displying the 1000s of other games had to use dons, but then it didnt give me the info at all so then had to manually go through the massive mame xml to copy and paste the info into my new mame xml whatever haha but NOW the texts for the games are ugly, they are simple but if i go to say, atari, the game titles are all pretty and styled according to game how can i fix this? i would like the game names to look nice also is there a better way to do the xml with the roms i …

trying to figure out, why no intro video shows when i click on the hyperspin setup.....it just goes straight to emulators wheel....i also have checked in the............. "media\frontend\video"....................... folder, and there's in intro video in there and a transitions folder also, but still no video when i turn on hyperspin

Hi, please forgive me but I am a total noob to hyperspin and wish I had done some more research prior to starting. I am guilty of buying a pre built drive only because the website I purchased from looked very hyperspin official. guilty as charged and understand if this could potentially hinder my chances of getting support. I will be donating at some point to make up for my awful Crime! I had everything working up until lunchtime today and after trying to familiarise myself with the system I've done something which has removed all global emulators from HLHQ and when I load HS I get an error message MAIN MENU.XML IS MISSINIG Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hello i wondered if anyone could help please, i had an error this morning after putting a scripts folder in the wrong place and no matter what i did to try and fix it it wouldnt go, I did upgrade to the new MAME 0.175 and new roms but im still getting same error. Is there a way to turn off the intro tips at the beginning of HyperSpin? The pop up that says something like, "Windows + R to stop recording" or whatever it says. I think the intro looks really cool, that pop up is distracting.

Hyperspin was working fine, then I think I tried to start a bios file or something like that on my wheel and whammo, I can't enter any game now. This is for MAME. I can enter and exit a wheel with the keys I set (enter) and (esc), but not a game. Any idea of how I broke hyperspin? I'm not sure what log to post on here for help. I read something about a fade in error, might that have something to do with it? Thanks for any help or advice you can give.

After updating to windows 10 the analogs on my wireless 360 pad no longer function in HS. All other buttons on the pad function and i am reduced to using the D pad to navigate which is quite clunky. Are there any files i should redownload or something that might fix it? I have had a look at the Main menu.ini but nothing looks out of place. Any advice appreciated Thanks.

I am unable to run the commodore 64 emulator (winvice) from within hyperspin. This is the error I get when clicking on the commodore 64 icon. cannot find rom "Commodore 64" In any Rom Paths provided: "C:\hyperspin133\Emulators\Arcade\Commodore 64\roms" with any provided Rom_Extension: "7z|zip|crt|vsf|d64|g64|tap|prg|t64|nib" From within RocketLauncherUI everything seems to be set up correctly. the Commodore 64 icon is there in the systems list. I am able to get a list of all of the games in my roms folder when I press the "audit all games..." and I am able to launch a game from the roms list within RocketLauncherUI. Hey Everyone, I joined here a while back inquiring on help with someone building me a system. I ended up finding someone who provided all systems (that I know of) and 10tb worth of roms and the whole system essentially. I was sent drives with all neccesary data and installed them into a PC that a friend built for me. The guy who gave me the hyperspin and all roms promised service for life (Update of Roms, fixing issues etc). This PC is hooked up to my home theater system and 52" TV in the living room so I can basically do anything in that room. It had been like this for a little while now, I thought it might eventually clear up on its own, however it hasn't. Whenever come to www.hyperspin-fe.com when I am using a mobile hotspot, this site is extremely slow. Like takes 20 minutes to load a single page slow. It is only when I am on hotspot from a mobile device. I am guessing this has something to do with tapatalk? For me this is a huge problem because 95% of the time when I come here, I am on a hotspot from a mobile device. If there is anything that can be done please do so as this site has become all by unusable for me at this point.

Hi everyone I was hoping someone could help me out with a problem Im having regarding where box artwork is placed in my Amiga set up. I had an original set up in place with ROMs, themes etc but the ROM set was incorrect. Long story short, I followed the Simply Austin video in this link and that got me up and running. All ROMs correct, working wheel in Hyperspin etc and all pretty much tip top. Before I go on, I do just want to say thanks to Simply Austin for producing the guide - much respect. Hey, most of you probably won't care...BUT... I'm having issues with joy2key... Ive been playing around with rocketlauncher and hyperspin setup to solve my issues, I just cant figure it out! The joy2key is working beautifully in Hyperspin, I am able to navigate menus and launch games with my controller. When the games launch, the controller is still working fine! I am not able to exit the emulator with the controller. I mapped the Rocketlaunch profile and Hyperspin profile to emulate "Esc" when I press a particular button, but it does nothing while the emulator is running. If i press the escape key on the keyboard it works fine and returns me to hyperspin, where the controller resumes working fine. I tried …
