fire10 Posted January 22, 2014 Author Posted January 22, 2014 LOL well he didn't have to help me, credit where credit is due. What a legend
chelo2010 Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Thanks for the help with this emulator Dolphin [Triforce] 3.0-698 me works perfect. regards ¡¡
brolly Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Why are you guys downloading builds from Emucr? Descriptions are never updated there so yeah they are misleading. Anyway I found this even more strange considering giga even posted the correct links to the triforce branch builds on his 1st post in this thread lol https://dolphin-emu.org/download/list/Triforce/
vampirolatino2 Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 I would like to take this opportunity to say a massive thankyou to Gigapig in public. Mate you are the kind of person that makes a forum and community great a big thanks to everyone else who contributed also. Unfortunately Im like a dog with a bone and could not let this beat me, as it was It had....badly.Thanks to the efforts of you I now have a working hyperlaunch boot. I never in a million years would have change the dolphin.exe to dolphin1.exe You are an absolute legend and thanks so much hopefully this helps out others also. What a great community!!! Agree! A lot of good peps here.

That's why I had to use the old emu.
vampirolatino2 Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Ok here are the pics promised. I have my exe named DolphinDW.exe (like the one you download in version 4.0 xxx posted by gigapig at the beginning. And my configuration is:
Polemicist Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Only a small list of games for this http://wiki.arcadeotaku.com/w/Triforce http://www.system16.com/hardware.php?id=728 KNOWN SEGA TRIFORCE GAME LIST Donkey Kong Jungle Fever Donkey Kong: Banana Kingdom F-Zero AX F-Zero AX Monster Ride Gekitou Pro Yakyuu Mario Kart Arcade GP Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 Starfox The Key Of Avalon 2 The Key Of Avalon : The Wizard Master The Key Of Avalon Ver.1.20 : Summon The New Monsters Virtua Striker 2002 Virtua Striker 4 Virtua Striker 4 Ver.2006 Hmmm. Could be interesting. I like the arcade games. Why did I read this thread.... My number just keeps growing...
gigapig Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Shame only 1 of them workcomparison. well easily that is. The only other one that can is Virtua Striker and I'm in no hurry to get that working. Mr Pole, you must have a lot of time on your hands to play all those. Mine is a mere trifle in con

Was playing games. What were you saying?
gigapig Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Sorry. Was playing games. What were you saying? Superb.
klizine Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 From what I can gather Gig is correct. Only Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 and Virtua Striker 2002 (which I can attest to) are playable via Dolphin Triforce. F-Zero AX is "unlock able" using the Gecko codes in Dolphin.
zerojay Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Mario Kart Arcade GP 1 is playable with Dolphin Triforce 4.0-315 with the following cheat codes enabled: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-triforce-mario-kart-arcade-gp-2?pid=311626#pid311626
jedfactor Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 I can get mariokart gp 2 to run fine but have a problem that when I changed the settings in triforce dolphin, it also changes the settings in dolphin as well so gamecube games wont launch in dolphin without exiting hyperspin and changing the gamecube settings in dolphin back to the default.
marxkemp Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 Use a portable.txt file in a separate dolpin folder
gigapig Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 So what have you done to get it working this far, it's been a while since I've been here. Did you have to rename the exe?
klizine Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 So what have you done to get it working this far, it's been a while since I've been here.Did you have to rename the exe? There's working and then there's really working. Meaning MGP and MGPII both can be played... but it would be so much more awesome if you could save... work by crediar was on fire... then stopped late January...https://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/source/list?name=Triforce
jedfactor Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Use a portable.txt file in a separate dolpin folder Sorry could you elaborate on this a bit? I can't get items working in MKGP1 on older revisions, and on the latest version it freezes at the memory card selection, can play MKGP2 well in latest version, but can't save which is a shame.
marxkemp Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 You can use seperate instances of the dolphin emulator by placing an empty file in de main directory. So you can have a sepeate wii/gc install and a seperate triforce install
gigapig Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Only ever had GP2 running, although hadn't tried the others in a while. Use version 3 697 x64

Also does it go in each Dolphin folder.
marxkemp Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 If you dont do it all user settings are saved in de windows user folder https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Controlling_the_Global_User_Directory
SIMPLYAUSTIN Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Translation= if you use the dolphin Emu as stock and then save the settings it will play the game. But when you play a Gamecube, Wii or other Dolphin setup it will also use the same settings you used for this. The config setting are saved in a Master folder within your user files. If you place the "Portable.txt" file into the root of one of the Dolphin emulators its telling the emu that you want to run this as a Portable setup. all its settings and configs will be unique to this instance and saved within that Dolphin folder. I beleive theres a few other emus that use this too. Very handy for making per system Emus or even Per game setups. Simply Austin's YouTube
jedfactor Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 If you dont do it all user settings are saved in de windows user folderhttps://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Controlling_the_Global_User_Directory Thanks that worked. Had a go on MKP2 on gamecube, its nice to be able to save, but the game doesn't half look good in dolphin with the graphical enhancements maxed out, looks like a WiiU game.
