Just a quick edit....the old ones sides where a bit big... dont ask how that got past me lol

the old one still there if anyone still wants it, but this will be the main one in the folder.

Ok finished 3 more to match the unified themes.

I started on Taito Type X bezels...problem is i can only get contra to show it...i know contra is not a TTX game per say..but most everyone puts it in that category...

There are some of the TTX games that would benefit from bezels, if anyone cares help out so the bezels show, i will continue to make for TTX...otherwise this is it :(

Also on the sammy atomiswave and sega naomi..theres a new folder called "Fadeout working"

is essentially the same as the one i provided earlier, except that this one when you enable fade out, it wont crash anymore...at least it doesnt crash here...this is not an official module...even tho i only change the closing process for it to work properly here.

Check it out if you are having fadeout problems with demul58...but as always...back up your original first :)

I really wouldn't bother with TTX, I highly doubt you will ever get it to work right with bezels. I also doubt I would want it in the official module either as that's just opening the flood gates for users to make threads about how it doesn't work right.

I really wouldn't bother with TTX, I highly doubt you will ever get it to work right with bezels. I also doubt I would want it in the official module either as that's just opening the flood gates for users to make threads about how it doesn't work right.

but seriously tho, i have one more working...nothing officially done to the module at all...games have to be run on windowed mode...which i am finding out how to do...games like spica adventure tho...might require maybe scripting or some coding...but thats down the road if anybody wants, it runs windowed but nothing shows up, and unlike the 3do( which i am still waiting for a reply) those tips did not function at all...spica is very stuburn little girl lol.....

who know, maybe by then ill be better at it and wont have to depend on people which i hate.

anyways...look for another one to come today ;)

I've gotten bezels working for all the vertical type X games, just not using the bezel code you guys use. Arcade pc loader already displays them in a window, so it's possible to put another gui underneath that and fill the middle with a color you tell the script is transparent. Instant vertical bezel.

All other games in order for bezels to work would most likely need to use arcade pc loaders window mode. Some games that I know will not work in any window mode due to Ddraw related stuff are Chaos Breaker and Arcana Heart 2.

problem is with that as far as i know, is that these games dont all look ok and need offset adjustments in the bezel ini...so far ive done 3 and 2 need diff ofsets.

also if it works here itll work elsewhere as long as you run them windowed...hence the files i included for that...i guess thats the part that needs testing...

If you want to do that inside hyperlaunch, just add a bezel background image with what do you want to show bellow the window and a transparent bezel image (with the ini coordinates 0,0,width and height of the bezel image).

All games that works in windowed mode should work with the normal bezel lines, so just add the bezel gui, start, draw and exit lines to the module and see how it goes. The two that do not work on windowed mode will probably never work with the bezel.

I do not have Taito Type X setup on my computer, so I will probably not be of much help on that. I am with very little free time right now and I still need to get the games, go through all its configs and only latter test things on my end. Any help on that is very much appreciated.

When asking for help for RocketLauncher, POST ON THE RLAUNCHER.NET FORUMS!

Also, please post your RocketLauncher.log with logging level set to troubleshooting in pastebin (set the log level in RocketLauncherUI, global system > General Settings -> RocketLauncher).

OK these bezels for TTX system are a pain to get to work.

I will only include the Game resolution files in there...need to be edit with notepad++ if need be.

Again this are for my 1920x1080 display and it may not work the same for you.

To me, the resolution files turned out to be important ones....why?

Well so far, kofxii and kofxiii bezels would would not go inside the bezels area and have the bezels show up untill every pixels was correctly offset in the bezel ini and resolution.

Can some one more knowledgeable like bleasby have this working perfect? probably...but hes a busy man and every one has a life out of HS :P

Anyways...ensure you are running on windowed mode...(So far is a Must)

if you are not sure how to run window mode like i was...just run the game through Arcade PC Launcher and set window and resolution...after it has run...it will create a some files...

a D3xxx.dll ( xxx is not the actual value..it changes) and a windows.dll if the game didnt have those in the folder.

Youl also be creating a settings resolutions file...some are GameRes.dat and some are settings.arc ( the ones i will include with my files that needed those to be adjusted an put in your games folder )

Worth nothing that i set up TTX using gigapigs files...but after getting them to run windowed, i had to use like for example: instead of using King of Fighters XII, The.bat that used to work with gigapigs files...

now i have to use KOFXII_launcher.exe or it will not even launch the game.

Again TTX is a pain....and dont attempt if you are not up to the challenge and as always...backup originals and use at your own risk ;)

Thank you Alex these look fantastic, loving the sectioned look. And your quite right about using the launcher.exe instead of the bat. For all those not aware, if you do run the launcher.exe, the game.exe will be deleted and so if you want to go back to full screen (but why would you if you get this working) you would need to put game.exe back.

So any thoughts on doing some for the verticle games, I did a couple but the source art is hard to find for some.

not the best, but lack of artwork made it dificult...

Credits to THK since i used a few of his images from the great theme he made for this game.

Also this bezel goes in the games folder, not the actual bezel folder.

With your consent Alex, could this (and any others) be packaged with the "Taito Type X files"? That way no one gets confused where it should go. Named accordingly, so "bg169_alexdc what a great guy" kind of thing. Pm me if you want to discuss it.

I've tried the 2600 bezel with Stella, I've put it in :\HyperLaunch\Media\Bezels\Atari 2600\_Default

Here are my Stella settings, so I've switched off full screen and checked centre window and out zoom on 4x.

Nothing shows up when run. So I don't no if there additional steps I need to do?

You may have trouble with Arcana Heart 3 as it throws the window in the top corner, and I'm not sure how or if you can reposition it.

Same is true of Daemon Bride.

Hard to say...does stella has bezel support in the module?

from the settings it is similar for what i did with one of the other atari ones, cant recall this moment tho...

hmmmm that could be a problem...but will see cus normally the bezel would drag it to fit on the screen....
