Anyone have an idea as to why I'm getting this bar at the bottom of Nestopia? Looks to be part of the window. The screen also doesn't seem to go down to the bottom. Note that this is with the modified bezels that don't include the bars at the top and bottom.

Already messed with bezel.ini with no results. Anything greater than 1080 for the y coordinate doesn't seem to do anything. I'll try my hand at the module and see if I can't get better results. So you're saying you get the same thing with the un-modified versions of the bezels? I was hoping I could switch to them and have the bezel cover up the bar.

someone will develop bezels for 4:3 ??? I think that most people using HS has an arcade cabinet and has not a monitor 16:9. So I do not see why not done, also themes 4:3 for Unified Megatheme.

sadly i dont have a 4:3 monitor and super busy doing other stuff...anyone can feel free to edit these to fit the 4:3 monitors....

also i stated before i made this for me and decided to share...i like many use a 16:9...so when you say most HS users use 4:3...well maybe maybe not.

so please dont take it out on me as it seems by reading your post that you are :/

Thanks

Alex.

Created a new folder called Unified Mega Theme with sub-folders for themes, bezels and wheels.

Lets throw everything in there from here on out.

Create Per-System sub-folders within the Bezels folder.

Sorry if this isn't the right place but thought you guys were the ones in the know.

How do we enable Overlay in HLHQ for mame ? If I do it appears to turn off Bezel. I have bezel/instr cards and background working. Also how do you position overlay pngs? Do you create a Overlay.ini in the same folder?

The module says turn off overlay in mame.ini but if you turn it on in module settings it appears to turn off bezel - confusing.

Thanks

Ok i also made new mame ones to match the themes...

but sadly it turned out ok at best..the marquee used for the theme was to busy to use on the sides, so i did this instead.

suggestions are welcome.

Thanks

Figured out a fix for this. There is actually an option in Nestopia to disable the status bar. Open the emulator and you should find it under the view settings. Disable it there and it shouldn't show up when you run it in Hyperspin.

I've uploaded several modules with bezel support; WinKawaks, Nestopia, and zSNESw (had to redo a couple because alex's didn't work for me 100%). I'm also working on Stella, but it is giving me a lot of trouble.

Also added a bezel for Sega CD, though it's without the horizontal bars.

Added a few more to both folders, mine and alexdc22. I know that there is no Super Famicom theme yet, but decided to use the base of the Super Nintendo to have another alternative in case someone else expecting one.

Thanks as i havent had time to catch up...been working on TTX since things got a bit stale with the new megatheme a while back....i take it these are using the background image from the themes there?

Gave up on Stella, not sure if it's possible with that emulator. Switched over to RetroArch for Atari 2600, and the bezel is working fine.

thanks for the info...as i havent had the time...bout to release some TTX files soon for those who want to use bezels on it...pain in the ass but worth it xD

i will try retroarch soon... and get my ass back to working on these bezels xD

I use Stella, so will it be worth moving over to RetroArch? I will see how easy it is to set up and see what the quality of these bezels is like ;)

It wasn't too hard, I'd recommend it. RetroArch is a lot more configurable, and it actually uses Stella as the core for Atari 2600, so the emulation will be the same. Honestly, the biggest pain was reconfiguring my xpadder profiles.

Thanks for the recommendation, looking at the site makes it sound complicated. Lets hope its ok with Xbox pads. ;)

Yes, that's understood. But the folder on the ftp is a good place to keep all bezel art. It won't make it to the Approved folder until the module is updated. But the Submitted Final folder is where they will live until that time. :D

The intent is for all bezel media to first land in the Submitted Open folder. It will get renamed and placed in the correct folders of the Final folder. Then, when and if they get approved, they will be moved to the Approved folder.

Thanks,

Ron

You do a really bad job of explaining yourself.

Again, I apologize for myself. I am good with numbers and code. Not so much for words. ;)
