Polemicist Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 In HyperHQ you can choose the location of your Videos. That location gets saved into your SYSTEMNAME.ini file in the C:\HyperSpin\Settings folder. My files are in my EmuMovies FTP folder where I dumped every single 480p file on the server into.

Is it because I'm under Hyperlanch 2. Thanks a lot. For launching, I assume you have RocketLauncher.0, yes. It uses the HyperLaunch path configured in Settings.ini. It then launches "HyperLaunch.exe [system name] [rom name]". So if you can configure HL2.0 in the same way it should work. As for the videos, that's only dependent on your HyperSpin config. Do you use alternative video paths perhaps? It was an issue but has been fixed in the latest version. Can you post your log? ghutch92 Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 If that's the case all HyperLaunch 1 and 2 users need to do is add the HyperLaunch Path to your HyperSpin settings file. You don't necessarily need to update to RocketLauncher until/if HyperSearch uses HyperLaunch specific files, like for statistics, most played, media, etc. The command line options has not changed at all ever since HL started, and it probably will not change until HyperSpin changes. Although there is always the possibility of adding the support for more HL parameters (the first two paramters won't change), but that is up to djvj and his cronies. With this addition, it is possible to launch games ... Great!!! However, I still have no video. (I also use png, flv as mp4, paths by default and specific paths). I still make some test before sending my log. Again thank you for this wonderful search engine.

The initialisation of the search is not able to finish and I can't search after that (an error getting a malformed URI...) I use this because I sync my 2 hyperspin on multiple computers. 2- Video doesn't seem to show when the list has only 1 entry. And in the list with more entries, I have to move to another to get the video. But it's totally fine if it works this way these are just nice to have and I would understand and these are not corrected. Thanks again for this great software.

Then as I scrolled through them the videos popped up but then I got a pop up saying can't load Rambo.xml in database folder. Any ideas? I will rerun search if no success to generate the log when I'm at my pc. Thanks

klizine Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 I have no idea why the videos started showing up, but I noticed it happening when I started clicking with the mouse around where the videos where. I got a video to show then accidentally launched the game. I had no idea why, but prior to that my log was not showing any activity, other then it saying it was searching and found my databases. Finally an error! I noticed my mame media was off (cause I had just changed it) Anywho, I corrected that then magically they all started showing up... cept a custom wheel for Gun Games, but I expected that! So if that rambling helped anyone horrah! If not, just keep at it! pietie, as your demanding testers I have one more request (you know you don't have to listen to us, right? ) How about ability to change the exit commands? I have a cab, and ideally would not like to pull out the keyboard, if I decide to close out of HyperSearch. Which is an awesome app by thr way!!

In the log : 12:05:33 Failed to convert trigger key from key, default to: F3 In the .config : <add key="TriggerKey" value="q"/> Any idea why it doesn't work? Thanks in advance ! If you switch it back to F3, does it work?
AxelTerizaki Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 The app defaults it back to F3 anyway when I launch it (it doesn't modify the config file though, just says the trigger is F3.)
