About the parents and clones, sometime in the future I will add the option to search on parents folders for all games that do not have a bezel or instruction card on their own folders.

So it would be a good practice to keep the bezels on the parent folders whenever possible.

When asking for help for RocketLauncher, POST ON THE RLAUNCHER.NET FORUMS!

Also, please post your RocketLauncher.log with logging level set to troubleshooting in pastebin (set the log level in RocketLauncherUI, global system > General Settings -> RocketLauncher).

That, for sure, sounds like the best option. But I do have a question. How will you differentiate between the parent and clone bezel if they are both in the same directory?? Same with the IC's?

Here's a Neo bezel, as well as a few for 4:3. I'm sure Ron will work out the best way to distribute them, if they any good of course.

Hello all,

So, I am looking for a little guidance from someone out there that is fluent with PhotoShop. The images described in this post: http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showthread.php?32580-New-Bezel-Art-Location-And-Approval&p=334373&viewfull=1#post334373 are very big. 60+ meg! I knew they were going to be when I created them. But I am not very good with PS at this point. The images are 4000x4000px at 8bit color. I really do not want to shrink the resolution much, this is what the original file was, but I don't understand why this image is so much larger than the others.

I would take any advice I can get.

When you or I saved it we forgot to select this, smallest. The size after saving is reduced from 61mb to 1.37.

Are there many like this?

Wow... Wonder why? It's allways defaulted that way before. I'll do a scan and see how many big files I did.

yes its like gigapig says if you save or export them once more the have only 1.0 mb-1.8 mb

its not a big thing to do i have made it yesterday

Ok, I have adjusted all the big files and they are now much smaller. I will get them uploaded today sometime.

Where has it been moved to?

Give this a try.

Open up HLHQ.

Select MAME on the left.

Select Modules on the top.

Click once on MAME and hit the "Edit Global Module Settings" button.

On the Settings tab, make sure your BezelMode is set to "normal".

Click on the MAME tab right next to Settings.

Change the following all to "false": Artwork_Crop, Use_Bezels, Use_Overlays, Use_Backdrops, Use_Cpanels & Use_Marquees.

Close out that window.

Click the Settings tab on top.

Click the Bezel sub-tab and make sure Bezel - Enabled is set to true.

If that doesn't work, post your HyperLaunch log using code tags as described here:

Does this work for all Mame versions? I have mame .148 and I don't have all these options "Artwork_Crop, Use_Bezels, Use_Overlays, Use_Backdrops, Use_Cpanels & Use_Marquees" I only has Use_bezels, Use_Overlays and Use_Backdrops. Don't know if that's why I cant make them appear.

If you followed what Ron said and have put the artwork files in the correct place then yes it should work. But I would recommend you grab a new build from Jumpstiles folder and also upgrade your Rom Set to match.

Yes I followed what Ron said but it still didn't work that's why I was asking if it mattered that I had .148. I was googling to c how I can update my rom set to play on mame .156 hopefully I can update it.

Or try this which is slightly newer than what you have. I would imagine most of your Roms will work with 0.156, I always update mine so I can't be sure.

Can you post your Hyperlaunch log set to troubleshooting.
