RayzzorBlack Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 Can someone tell me what the keymapping term (in the controller setting) is for the spacebar in ezflasher. w=up c=space that is what I would like to put but it's not working and there is nothing in the directions about the space bar. RedKid Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 It works flawlessly. I have flash games set up on my wheel the same way PC games are se set up using EZ Flasher. I just create a folder for each flash game, drop in a copy of Ez Flasher rename the swf to game.swf, and modify the settings to my scrreen and desired controls. I use pclauncher to launch the games in each folder. These games look great fullscreen. It's brilliant.

Should just clicking the EZ-Flasher bring up the app gui? Or does this have to be run through Hyperspin? I am trying to test it before using HS. ~5thWolf~
RedKid Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Assuming you have flash player installed, it should work. There is no gui that I am aware of. There is a settings.ini file, the flasher.exe, and you must provide the swf file. For example, if you have Aether.swf, you would put it into a folder with flasher.exe, the settings.ini, and then rename aether.exe to game.exe. Before you open flasher.exe, open the settings.ini, and change the settings to what you would like them to be. Once that is done, double click flasher.exe, and your game should open with the variables you have set. If you are not able to get a flash game playing without EZ Flasher, then EZ Flasher will probably not work for you. If you take an SWF, can you play it through Adobe Flash, or Explorer? If not, you need to remedy that before EZ Flasher will work for you.

I got it working with EZ flasher in my emulator folder and a roms folder for all .swf files. I can post how I got it working, but I am a bit busy at the moment
dustind900 Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 This runs the same as most the other console systems and should be set up in the same manner. Use the module on hyperlist http://hyperlist.hyperspin-fe.com/downloadahk.php?id=239. You do not need a copy of the executable to go with every game. Use the settings.ini in the EZ-Flasher folder to create a Global key mapping, then use keymapper to make mappings for individual games.

RayzzorBlack Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Just in case anyone has problems getting ez flasher to work with Win7 (Which I did), you may get a message saying windows is missing a needed file. The file is flash.ocx and it does not come with or work with Win7 I guess. After several forum visits and trying to fix the issue I found that if you install Windows Flash Player 11.2 ActiveX control content debugger (for IE) from http://www.adobe.com, then the issue stops and EZ flasher starts working again!
