Need some help. To start- I am a beginner with Hyperspin/ Mame etc. Been toying around with it for several months, but I understand that i still lack a fundamental knowledge of the programming. I have been able to find solutions to my self created problems on various forums/ youtube videos, but this one has me stumped. I ordered the 2 player BYO kit from X-Arcade. I have that installed in an empty silver strike cabinet that i modified. I also ordered the trackball from them. I have that installed. Here's the issue. The trackball works perfectly fine in Windows and in hyperspin. But in Mame when I use it I get some kind of diagnostic screen with a series of numbe…

So after over 2 days of using Qbitorrent to download the split rom set for 0.193 from the archive site, I have discovered that most of the zip files are empty!! Has anyone seen that issue? What would have happened? The file size is the same as what itt's supposed to be (like 60gb) Is there some setting that is hiding these or did I just really waste 2 days waiting for this download to complete? WT hay! Seems stupid to me to have to download this whole darn set. vs just the games I want. Any suggestions?

I'm a bit confused on what to enter for file extensions in rocket launcher UI for MAME. I tried .zip for the roms but on the games tab when I hit the blue button, no games display in the list. Not sure what ext I"m supposed to be putting here? (edit emulator screen)

I am in the process of setting up MAME and see under video options you can select one of several options such as d3d, gdi, none, auto, opengl, and bgfx. anyone know which one is best for MAME or does it matter? Tried a couple but don't see any noticeable difference. granted it's Asteroids. lol but anyone?

I have 3 monitors. Right now, I need MAME to load on screen1. I can't for the life of me figure out how to change the attached settings to display it on screen 1. They all say auto. If I set screen1 to a value of 1, no change. tried a couple things but I don't know what I"m supposed to set it to. Please help. It's driving me nuts. It always wants to got to screen2 which is my pinball table monitor.

I have the 0.195 split set for mame roms but can't seem to find the CHD set for this version? Anyone know where I can find these? Latest I found was 0.185. is that the latest for CHD or is there one for 0.195? Found Retro Roms has CHDs but it appears you have to download one at a time.

Hello, I helped a friend load up his NES Classic mini with all the SNES (or almost all) roms using hakchi2. We found a site that had a full set for the SNES/hakchi2 ready. The process went fine but I was trying to figure out how to use these roms in an emulator ..just to try.. the roms are zipped i.e. Mega_Man_7.sfrom Also each rom is in it's own folder such as: C:\Users\ARCADE\Desktop\games_snes\CLV-U-CFBVB\.... Anyone know anything about these or how to use them/convert.... ...looked around google but nothing came up :/ here is the view in the folder: t

See attached screenshots. For some reason despite the mame.ahk module showing in the modules tab, when I add MAME to the emulators tab, no modules are listed so I can't select any. I need help getting this configured to work with MAME. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Can anyone advise the best mame version for a 3 player driving cab... I’ve been through loads and can’t find a happy medium. It needs to have raw input as I’ll be using 3 mice inputs for the 3x 360 optical steering wheels through a UHID. I’ll be also playing more demanding games like ridge racer and so far I’ve tried an excellent hacked driving cab version (see below) hacked by geecab over at arcade controls forum in 2013 that holds the centre point of the steering and doesn’t allow the centre point to wander even when oversteering, but it’s an old mame 0.148 and ridge racer won’t run. Using an Xbox 360 that works fine but say when I load up a 007 bond game on the n64 retroarch (mupenplus) my analog / dpad are screwy. Both just point bond up and down, I can’t go forward. ive never had issues with the Xbox 360 before. What setting need to be tweaked in the control section to get this working properly

Im at a roadblock. I can run epsxe outside of hyperspin no prob. Ive got my roms recognized in rocketlauncher with the green light.... but when i hit the launch I get black screen with "analog" up in the corner. Ive tried waiting but not working. Any Help out there? Thanks, Snaus

Hi, Im running demul in my build and it works fine. It just looks a bit untidy - when it launches I have this ugly demul window open up prior to the game launching and it leaves the mouse cursor in the middle of the screen. I appreciate Im being a bit fussy - but has anyone got any tops for tidying it up a little bit? Mark

Hi guys. This may have been asked before but I can’t seem to find anything definitive for exactly what I’m trying to do so here goes... I’ve only ever had mame on my system . 1 wheel, loads of games (just mame) I’ve just sort of got model 2 running on it but I only want maybe about 6 model2 games Is there a way I can have just 1 wheel as before with both mame & model 2 games on together? As now I have obviously a main menu wheel with mame and model 2 on thanks.

Hi all. Does anyone know where I can download sega model 2 v1.0? ive tried nebula website and clicked on the link for v1.0 further down the page but the version you get is 1.1a only reason for this is I spent hours today trying to get troubleshooter 2 working and then read somewhere that it only works with v1.0?? or am I wrong here? I couldn’t even get TS2 to find the emulator path! Just kept getting and notice saying it’s the wrong path. Turns out (or so I’ve read) you have to put a \ on the end of the path... ??

I'm sure this topic has been covered by someone, but I couldn't find anything with a search, so at the risk of covering old ground, here goes... What are folks doing to enable PC games that fall between the early DOS games and new-ish games that can be installed on 64-bit systems? I have a handful of games my son played when he was growing up...Pajama Sam, Toy Story, Curious George, etc. and so far have not seen how those games (which often require simultaneous use of the CD-ROM and are not part of eXoDOS) can be accommodated with the various tools out there. I can't do a direct game install in Windows as the bit version is incompatible with modern Windows variants…

Hi guys Im running sega Hikaru roms via Demu v0.7 - all works fine and loads well when i boot up a rom from Demu However when I try to run the rom through Hyperspin it can not locate certain bios files....its strange because the path for hyperspin is the one where I launch hikaru roms with no issues Any ideas please guys?

I am trying to get nestopia 1.48 running on my windows 10 a lot of searches indicate that it will run on 64 and 32 bit but I cant get it to work on my 64 bit. tried everything I can find direct x 9, all .net fixes and activations just get error 0xc000007b. says it is a non compatible program so is that the case. nestopia 1.40 starts up but not tested as I cant find my roms at the moment any help would be much appreciated.

Hi, set Sega Model 2 and 3, but SM3 write in hyperspin: "Sega Model 3 is an invalid System name or Supermodel.exe isn't supported yet" someone can help me?
