After a lengthy layoff from Hyperspin due to moving, I caught the bug and have delved back into working on my setup. I'm updated to HS 1.4 and am using RL. My roms for ePSXe are 2 types of files: A single .bin that matches the name in the .xml, and a folder that matches the name in the .xml with a .cue file that matches the name in the .xml and 1 or more track.bin files. If I attempt to launch the .cue as an ISO in ePSXe it fails to load, thus it does the same when attempting to launch through HS. If I manually load the .bin as an iso it will load and play. I'm certain these titles launched prior to my move and subsequent updating. What simple step am I missing? I know…

Hey guys, I have been running around in circle all night... I have been working on adding more commodore 64 games and added maniac mansion as its in 2 pieces part a and part b.. anyway this is the error.. it starts to load and the cracked teams page loads then when I press the button the attached picture comes up any help with this

Ive downloaded 2 different full rom sets for Snes but when I audit its not finding any. So I then downloaded single games then it found those ones, all zipped just like the others, any ideas whats up??

Well well... I had RetroArch for a long time but like a lot of people I tried with it and just gave up on it. I decided to give it another shot because I wanted to use it for N64.. and to my shock I actually got it going and running flawlessly other than it not being compatible with certain games I wanted to run. After getting n64 to work I figured I'd try SNES and NES and got those running as well.. and SNES hands down was amazing upgrade from using BSNES and SNESx or whatever it's called. Hello, A while back I compiled my MAME .159 (to my surprise not too bad) In the Audit I have 2 errors/missing roms and samples have no errors. I know that there are some roms that are currently, and including my current version of MAME are not fixable. (I know, I think the roms that are labeled "no good dump known" are prob. unfixable atm) I'd like to fix, re-dump the ones that can be fixed but not sure what to look for. Im hoping for some knowledge from you guys to help me on my mame setup. ive having trouble finding my answers.... I have set up hyperspin and many emulators but still need to get mame setup (building pedestal arcade) . I'm sorry if this has been discussed a million times but after doing some google searches and searches on the site I couldn't locate anything. I'm trying to set up Hyperspin with Rocket Launcher on my Virtual Pinball Cab that is running Hyperspin. I've got a couple of emulators working and games playable (kind of) but for the life of me I can not find any settings anywhere to launch games on my second monitor. Since this is also a Pinball Cab my main monitor is also used as my pinball playfield so the orientation is all wrong. Lately I've been messing with the settings of my emulators for systems like NES, etc. and turning bezels off to get that original feel of the systems.. and I'm trying to get BSNES to open full screen... but I should probably explain that I can get it to open in full screen so what I'm asking is how do I get it to cover the entire screen without having black bars on the sides. I checked the stretched options and played around and still no go. The options in BSNES are kinda bare bones not much to mess with. I

Hey Guys, Following video tutorials on you tube and I have so far manage to get nearly 29 wheels working and playing, Although I am doing this on my laptop with an attached External hard drive so I can then connect to my arcade machine in the future.. I have managed as I said to get the 29 wheels playing and loading with bezels and video snaps.. But I have not set up controllers for the emulators yet. Windows 10 Home edition is my Cpu. I have a problem. When I open my MAME through windows I can visualize in the menu (pressing TAB) the graphical options of BGFX and other filters. When I open the HYPERSPIN these graphical options are not available in the menu when I tighten the TAB, and I can not apply the BGFX graphics filters when I squeeze ROM through HYPERSPIN. Can someone help me?

Why oh why oh why won't mupen64 take my xbox360 that works fine with everything else , inputs? load a game , go to configure controls, press the buttons to bind the keys in the controller settings, but mupen isn't taking the key presses from the 360. the controllers are working fine, don't know why mupen would be taking them??

Hi All, Need help with setup/config of Player Difficulty toggles for Atari 2600 with Retroarch please. If someone can point me to guide or tutorial if it's already been questioned before or offer me some advice. I've gone through what I can see eg. Atari 2600.cfg but can't find any way to toggle difficulty. Otherwise Retroarch is working perfectly for Atari2600 I replaced Stella in the Hyperspin Bolt-On edition as for some reason I couldn't get fullscreen for start up in HS it always reverted back to small and centered. Hi all, so here is the situation. My friend gave me his arcade cabinet due to him moving out of the country. Hyperspin was already installed and from what I can tell some of the games are already working. When I look at some of the more modern games though and try to load them I get an error message. saying that it could not find my dolphin.ini . Ive been reading on this forum that its recommended to build hyperspin from scratch rather than jump into it somewhere in the middle and I completely see now why that is, I am a complete novice when it comes to this kind of stuff. Is there a way to get PCSX2 fully portable on an external hard drive. My current setup has the ini file being written to my C drive while the emulator and the rest of the settings are on my external E drive with my hyperspin setup. Or am I missing something in the emulator settings? Everything that I can see in my emu setup is set to E but the ini keeps appeaing on both my C drive and E drive. If I remove the C drive ini copy the emu stops working. Thanks.

Resolved! Not a fix, but as good as... see below I'm having an absolute nightmare here and I know this is an old issue of the device ids changing ever time windows is shut down but this is seriously driving me mad. I wish I'd have known about this before I built my cab as I'd have never have bothered.... it's that annoying. So I've got 2 aimtrack lightguns, a spinner and a trackball. Everything is plugged into the same USBs, I don't unplug anything after shutting down. I thought of putting the PC into hibernate rather than shutting down but doesn't seem to work. Hi All, I can't believe i am having this much trouble when it seems everyone else is having a super easy time. I cannot get any turbografx-16 game to run in retroarch. I get them to run fine in magic enginer, but I can't seem to do it in retroarch. I am using the mednafen-pce-fast-liberto core and have the sys3.pce placed in the systems folder. I have tried using this with the rom zipped and unzipped. I have tried loading the core by itself and then the rom and nothing happens. Anyone have a guide or tutorial on how to exactly set this up? Thank you!

I'm pulling my hair out yelling. Why all of a sudden is Windows crashing mameuifx? i even downloaded a fresh start and same thing, can't even launch it. I've tried 7 different downloads same thing happens testing in stand alone mode set rom directory refresh games select game to launch CRASH. rinse repeat. wtf is going on here? Everything has been fine??!?
