you have to mix red, green and blue to generate white with a rgb-led. the cree leds have an extra fourth diode for ultrabright white. the mixing is better than rgb-white and the extra coldwhite diode gives that strobo kick.

with flasher rotation I mean the flashers on top of the backbox go mad :D

Got it.

If I can get mine to work half as good as tthe Cree, I would be happy as they were much, much cheaper. :D

just tested ADDAMS FAMILY and TWILIGHT ZONE.

there is a problem with the flasher. I can not drive the flasher via ledwiz :(:dontknow:

I hope we find a fix for it...

Which version of Addams? Looks like there are 6 flashers in the script. This is slightly different from the manual.

Solenoid

17 = Flasher 1 (above small flipper left)

18 = Flasher 2 (above swamp)

19 = Flasher 3 (above pop bumper 1)

20 = Flasher 4 (upper left)

21 = Flasher 5 (Top center)

22 = Flasher 6 & Cloud Topper

Does any of this help?

addams family flasher 17-21 generates an visual pinball overflow/outspd/line0 error, when the ball activates the first flasher.

---------------------------

on twilight zone the same, overflow/outspd/line0 error :hmpf:

---------------------------

I noticed on indiana jones, that flasher 37-42 are not working... but 17-21 works great!

maybe because 37-42 are controlled via 8-driver-board?

holy crap dude those are huge !!!!

Yes... Yes they are... :)

Are those F14 Tomcat lights ?? :)

You got it. The cool think about this unit is that the light does not rotate like others, the light is stationary and the silver disk rotates. This means that I should be able to install RGB lights there and control the color of the lights. :D

Chris,

So how is the config itself handled? I am assuming that to be able to share scripts/config, we would all have to have our lights wired the same way, no?

got my powder coated (fine structure / dull finish) lockbar, legs and siderails today :)

The playfield screen is more "invisible" now.

I love that finestructure powder coat. The look and feel is like the original one.

Hi Chris,

If i may ask, how much did you pay for the powder coating ? I have no idea what i would be thinking about.

Reason why i ask is because my lockbar is not so very nice (chrome).

right now the config is just an ini-file which can be edited via texteditor.

the problem with config-sharing is, that everybody can build a different setup. so it's hard to get a "standard" for everyone. I have to discuss that with the other beta testers soon...

I payed about 20 bucks for powder coating the lockbar.

Exactly my point... If you post your wiring config so that when I (and others) wire ours up, we can save some time... :)

"Hey Chuckie, you're up!" :laugh:

I am so glad that rudy works :D

- contactors for everything that makes "klack" (flippers, bumpers, slingshots, outholes, trapdoor, ramp diverter, ball release, kicker and so on)

- less noisy contactor (back/middle, mounted on the wooden lcd support) for rudy's eyes and eyelids! that is so cool :viking:

- when you hit rudy ("Owww!!!! that was no accident!" :flute:) or rudys hideout, shaker gets activated!

- flasher works also nice on funhouse
