shilmover
you have to mix red, green and blue to generate white with a rgb-led. the cree leds have an extra fourth diode for ultrabright white. the mixing is better than rgb-white and the extra coldwhite diode gives that strobo kick.with flasher rotation I mean the flashers on top of the backbox go mad Got it. If I can get mine to work half as good as tthe Cree, I would be happy as they were much, much cheaper.

luvthatapex
just tested ADDAMS FAMILY and TWILIGHT ZONE. there is a problem with the flasher. I can not drive the flasher via ledwiz I hope we find a fix for it... Which version of Addams? Looks like there are 6 flashers in the script. This is slightly different from the manual. Solenoid 17 = Flasher 1 (above small flipper left) 18 = Flasher 2 (above swamp) 19 = Flasher 3 (above pop bumper 1) 20 = Flasher 4 (upper left) 21 = Flasher 5 (Top center) 22 = Flasher 6 & Cloud Topper Does any of this help? shilmover
And then there were 9... Looks like I blew the Red on one of the LEDs. Accidentally bypassed the resistor with 6v. No more red. Correction, I had the resistor for the Red LED on the Blue one and Blue on the Red on... Hence, no Red LED...

njay
the 8 board driver should also be controlled by the rom right? maybe the output signals to the board is different from what expected

shilmover
holy crap dude those are huge !!!! Yes... Yes they are... Are those F14 Tomcat lights ?? You got it. The cool think about this unit is that the light does not rotate like others, the light is stationary and the silver disk rotates. This means that I should be able to install RGB lights there and control the color of the lights.

Chris, So how is the config itself handled? I am assuming that to be able to share scripts/config, we would all have to have our lights wired the same way, no? njay
OFcourse not as bright as those cree leds, but they will do Still need to decide where to point the LED at or towards me or to the back to the wall flLaybmnjnE
pixelmagic
got my powder coated (fine structure / dull finish) lockbar, legs and siderails today The playfield screen is more "invisible" now. I love that finestructure powder coat. The look and feel is like the original one. Hi Chris, If i may ask, how much did you pay for the powder coating ? I have no idea what i would be thinking about. Reason why i ask is because my lockbar is not so very nice (chrome). Erwin

chriz99
"Hey Chuckie, you're up!" I am so glad that rudy works - contactors for everything that makes "klack" (flippers, bumpers, slingshots, outholes, trapdoor, ramp diverter, ball release, kicker and so on) - less noisy contactor (back/middle, mounted on the wooden lcd support) for rudy's eyes and eyelids! that is so cool - when you hit rudy ("Owww!!!! that was no accident!" ) or rudys hideout, shaker gets activated! - flasher works also nice on funhouse <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRh8Gg0GajQ&hl=de_DE&fs=1&rel=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRh8Gg0GajQ&hl=de_DE&fs=1&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
