Map warp keys to xbox buttons. Is what most do. I enjoy the wait personally. I wish it had the 1541 disk access noises though.

Why don't you get the drive noises? ;)

If the game is set to use True Drive Emulation and you have Drive Sound Emulation enabled in the emulator, the drive sounds work. They are not very good, but they do work.

Thanks,

Ron

Hi,

Tanks for all that work! But I have some issue when I play those games. It's not "no-intro" games (Montezuma's revenge for example). There are intros, and to skip it I have to enter the key "Run/stop" wich is escape in winvice. So under hyperspin, it's impossible to play it (When I tape esc, it escape from the game). Anybody have the same issue? What emulator are you using?

Thanks

Default config is caps lock for runstop. The no intro naming is for aesthetic purposes only. Cheers. In the emu you can set runstop to another key if ypurs is esc.

Thanks, I got it working. Mapping in winvice is a little complicated, but I'm done. Thanks again !

Have anyone tested Ghost and Goblins?. I can´t start it, it gets stuck on loading screen.

Mine seems to work just fine. It requires hitting space a couple times.

Thanks,

Ron

aha :).. Thanks Ron!

Edit: Tried pressing space many times with different timings, it just wont go past the loading screen.

Edit2: Solved it, was a faulty setting in the .ini file that caused the emulator to just load up the "picture" part on the disc

Updated the Gamelist in post 1. 2129 is the "final" count this time. I also updated tour de france as apparently while it is 2 disks on game base both disk they have are the same game. So it really is 1 disk. I thought it was weird that based on screenshots it was too disks.

to be continued.............................................?

Something wierd happened here. The desctription for this entry is "Total Recall (Europe)".

Not overly odd. I copy the entry above and rename the 2 lines for name and desc every time I add a game. Looks like I forgot to paste the tour de france text in as total recall is above tour de france :)

Fixed now though.

Thanks.

Can I make a humble request? Anyone here played Wings of Fury? And I believe there is also a sequel.

Thanks again Dougan, I see you continued to over 2100 games!!!! Wow, time for me to update! :-)

I'm currently trying to fill in the missing info for dougan78's xml file. Its not hard but very time consuming. Using the Gamebase64.xml I've been search for each game by name and copying over the manufacturer, year, and genre info. I've been altering the genre info to match the standardized format found in my ftp folder.

Its taken me along time just to get to the end of letter "A" and at this rate I don't think I will finish.

is there a way to automatically pull this info from one xml file to the other?

if some one were to do this I suppose it would function like this:

From Commodore 64.xml

search each line for "<description>game name" stop reading characters of game name when it reached "(" to have name but not region

search Gamebase64.xml for "<description>game name"

if match is found copy the following 4 lines skipping the line containing "<description>game name"

example:

<cloneof></cloneof>

<manufacturer>Datasoft</manufacturer>

<year>1986</year>

<genre>Adventure - RPG 3D</genre>

copy back to Commodore64.xml replacing

<cloneof></cloneof>

<crc></crc>

<manufacturer></manufacturer>

<year></year>

<genre></genre>

Is this possible?
