Hi, I converted all the Daphne themes to widescreen, Here's a quick video of how they ended up looking: (

)

If someone wants them, they are in my FTP folder (under /Suhrvivor/Widescreen Media), along with wheels and some other widescreen goodies for this system and others.

I love your main menu theme. In the end though I have to go with the default main menu. I love the fire animation and it looks wonderful in 16:9.

Also, I can tell you didn't convert the backgrounds to the daphne game themes. Give me a bit and I'm gonna show a few more tips.

These scripts are absolutely beautiful my friend.

Lately I've discovered how to extract and resize swf animations and put them back together. Do you have any tips to make this process easier?

How do you extract swf? As far as I know it is possible to import .swf in flash 5.5, flash cc seems not to able to open .swf. Moreover, working with imported swf in 5.5 is a freaking nightmare as you have to select multiple frames to resize and flash often crashes while selecting a huge amount of frames.

I gotta comment on this once more. Thanks again for the scripts.

I tested out everything within my SNES setup into 1920x1080. It looks nice, but the images look too small.

Converting from 4:3 to 16:9 (1024x768 to 1366x768) is way more practical when dealing with the older artwork. None of the older art had 1920x1080 in mind. Like I said, the images looked too small and the canvas was desolate.

If you're making your own "unique" 1920x1080 artwork then I could see the point in wanting to convert everything to 1920x1080 specifically.

Thank you for the scripts though. The 4:3 to 16:9 script is wonderful. To me, going from 1024x768 to 1366x768 makes more sense and adds wonder to these older themes. It makes more sense for "preserving" the older themes. The images appear proportionally correct and larger, and polished.

Ya see what I mean? .........

1080p to 1024*768 scripts are for those who likes to create 1080p themes and then convert them for hyperspin. To convert pre-made themes just use 4:3 to 16:9 Script :)

Some I did, some I didn't, only the ones I felt were needing it.

For some reason none of the pictures posted over the weekend are visible in Tapatalk. I've checked them out on Photobucket though and they look great.

I've spent the last 24 hours trying to find a better way to convert swf animations. I found the way that I posted the tutorial for, but now....

I finally found out how to edit them in Adobe flash without having to edit every frame.

Lovin' it.

As soon as you get done reading this......... THIS will be uploaded to my FTP.....

good work keep it up is there a guide for adding these also does the artwork match the same size[/quote

There were some guides that pointed me in the right direction, but in the end I just had to figure it out.

I don;t know what you're trying to ask when it comes to the artwork matching the same size...?

If you mean, "was it all converted?" The answer is yes.

Still converting. Don't worry. Currently in the process of copying to an external drive. Preparing for a system restore. I have registry issues that's only hurting my adobe products.

But anyways,

Here ya go. A series I think most of us loves. Hopefully.....

These themes were actually done by BadBoyBill. No offense to him because he is super creative and obviously the reason of why we are all here. But I have to be honest... At first these Street Fighter themes were pretty boring. But after a widescreen and swf overhaul. They now look super shiny and well, pretty amazing. They've become my favorite set of themes thus far.

Ok. Done for now.

And as always, for a better/clearer look at these themes. Go here.... http://s1291.photobucket.com/user/jamesbaker82/library/?sort=9&page=1

Got my computer restored and everything's back in working order.

After finishing up though, I spent some considerable time vegging out with my neighbors and playin the hell outta DK 2.

So, after all of that; I thought I'd squeeze a theme in before I finished up the night...

Here's 1 I hope you guys will like...

Hyperspin Nintendo Arcade Systems Widescreen Main Menu Theme (MAME)

As usual I take no credit for the artistry. I didn't create any of the artwork as you can probably tell.

I like it though and this is now my permanent theme for Nintendo Arcade Systems.

Superb! Somehow it looks as if you are not just converting these themes but revealing that they have actually been in widescreen all along. I don't know what witchcraft you're using but it's definitely working.

Great work Bakerman!

I already converted all the Daphne themes to widescreen, Check them out before wasting time redoing them (they are in my FTP folder).

We should all have a common place to upload converted themes so we don't overlap, a folder on the FTP or maybe a Dropbox or something like that.
