BakerMan Posted March 5, 2015 Author Posted March 5, 2015 Loving your work, looking forward to seeing it in action on my PC. Thank you for all the time your putting into this. Very good. Thank you. Sorry for all of the hype. I will release these in due time. At first I uploaded a lot and found out I had made a bunch of mistakes. Mainly converting images into swf. Other than that things are going nicely. In the end though, I think I'm gonna keep a slow approach to all of this. Once I start releasing downloads, I'm gonna upload 1 system at a time, so I can garner efficient responses. Plus, I wanna make sure to only upload quality. Not quantity. Well, hopefully eventually it'll be a massive quantity... well, wait... I'm actually starting to pile up quite the respectable quantity. I can't wait. Keep giving me time to convert. In due time my friend. In due time. Show your support for the Most Badass Project of them all! Subscribe to me on YouTube and Facebook!
SUBZERO Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 This is some great work!! Problem is that it will be lost soon as the website and how we organize things is just too crazy. Themes on both the website, Gold section FTP and on HS should be organized into both 4:3 and 16:9. Then all the art could be shaped to fit the themes to match and viola.... you have setup systems for widescreen and normal!!Awakened I believe it was who did an almost entire remake of the widescreen Unified Megetheme. A great idea, looking amazing. Now when I look for art for systems I get a mix of his work, original unified megetheme and some random. Can we organise the downloads section, Gold section FTP and the HyperSync to help us and others out?? Again, amazing work... I love someof these older themes but unusable in 4:3 format You got a point there, i see what i can do to add a 16:9 section to the downloads, also need a bezel section, gonna give it an overhaul in the future anyway. Store them on the ftp for the moment make a folder with 16:9

BakerMan Posted March 6, 2015 Author Posted March 6, 2015 I'm appreciating these older themes more and more everyday. Here's the Playstation 1 Default Main Menu Theme. Converted into 16:9 awesomeness. In the original more than 80% of cloud's sword is cut off on the right side of the screen. Now you see the whole thing. Plus the playstation at the top was dropped by about 10-12%. You can see more of that. And with the proper video resolution this theme is brought back from the dead and surges to the top. I seriously love this one... http://i1291.photobucket.com/albums/b541/jamesbaker82/ps1_zpsy8xigjqj.png Also, I couldn't leave out the Playstation 2. Another Hypersync Download converted into total awesomeness... http://s1291.photobucket.com/user/jamesbaker82/media/ps2_zpslznaqrka.png.html and this one is my personal favorite for the PS2... http://s1291.photobucket.com/user/jamesbaker82/media/PS22_zpsombemhgj.png.html P.S. -- Well, for what it's worth... I'm sure at least a few of you have read this thread and know what's goin on. I'm busy as shit converting these themes. And for anyone that's wondering why I would go about doing this, it's because: If we seriously want to preserve all of these themes, this has to be done. No future implementation of widescreen can fix it. Plain and simple. Plus, I'm lovin' the hell out of this. And I'm sure a few of you are hating me for holding back. Well, it's not much, but the Playstation themes you just looked at are now on my FTP. This time I'm gonna take things slowly to ensure quality. Hopefully you guys will actually download them and try them out. I want to know what you think. Anyways, just to reiterate, these Playstation themes above are now up. Tell me what you think. Thanks. Im currently going through every bit of art I can for all my systems and converting it all into 16:9 to go with all the 16:9 themes. Once completed just swf it and it will go amazingly with these widescreen themes. Then we will have complete sets in dif styles And less confusion on what art is needed. Having a gold minted section for this would stop half the confusion Simply Austin's YouTube

BakerMan Posted March 7, 2015 Author Posted March 7, 2015 For swf conversion always look here http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showthread.php?37342-Batching-PNGs-into-SWFs , I added a script that resize 4:3 artworks to 16:9 directly into flash so you can avoid photoshop batching There's also a script dedicated to those who prefer to make 1080p themes then convert background and artworks for hyperspin in flash I gotta comment on this once more. Thanks again for the scripts. I tested out everything within my SNES setup into 1920x1080. It looks nice, but the images look too small. Converting from 4:3 to 16:9 (1024x768 to 1366x768) is way more practical when dealing with the older artwork. None of the older art had 1920x1080 in mind. Like I said, the images looked too small and the canvas was desolate. If you're making your own "unique" 1920x1080 artwork then I could see the point in wanting to convert everything to 1920x1080 specifically. Thank you for the scripts though. The 4:3 to 16:9 script is wonderful. To me, going from 1024x768 to 1366x768 makes more sense and adds wonder to these older themes. It makes more sense for "preserving" the older themes. The images appear proportionally correct and larger, and polished. Ya see what I mean? ......... 1024x768 to 1366x768 Main Menu Sega Triforce..... http://s1291.photobucket.com/user/jamesbaker82/media/sega%20triforce_zpsywpxsmgz.png.html Show your support for the Most Badass Project of them all!
