Will you be doing system themes in the future as well? And some more obscure systems like Supervision and Philips CD-i?

Really just depends on the photos available. Some stuff just doesn't have good images to pull from.

Handhelds at some point. Not sure how I'll lay those out yet.

@tkropp-eventually :). Probably going to play with a few default themes for a bit as a change of pace.

Themes are up on the FTP. First post in this thread has a video and a list.

Could you upload the pointer in the video too?

Just did. Threw a couple different colors up as well.

nlash, any chance you would be willing to share your .psd's ? I'm making widescreen Japanese themes for the systems and their Japanese counterparts and I'd like to keep them in the same style as yours. The borders and frames you have created are top notch and it would be a shame to have to recreate them only to change the colors to match the different Japanese system styles. As I complete the themes I plan on sharing them with the community as well.

I dropped a zipped file in my FTP folder with a chunk of the .psd files. I think the Wii, PS2, NGC and Turbo Duo are missing, since I don't have those with me atm .

Note: These files are layered, but they are MESSY. I normally save down from these to a file that has Artwork1, Artwork2, Video, etc....so these have a lot going on. Don't forget, you'll have to change these down to 1024x768 once you've finished, otherwise they'll be squished on screen.

Good luck :D

I love these, nice work!

By the way can I have the sound file you use for the clicking sound as you turn the wheel? Or was that actually you clicking the stick?

I find the random sound effects aren't needed when you have videos for every game and console.

You can turn off the random effects in HyperHQ. The click is what's left.

I just added your NES theme, but the wheels are displaying behind the console. Am i doing something wrong?

No, that was intentional. I think you can alter the theme in HyperTheme and put the wheel on top. I'm not totally sure on that, though.

The only layer that can go below the wheel is the video. There is a check box in Hypertheme right under aspect ratio when working on the video tab. It's pretty annoying as I am implementing your awesome themes with my main menu setup that has an Always On wheel. I have to go into photoshop and attach the console image to the video overlay. Then every time I need to tweek the theme again I have to go back through the whole process again in photoshop. It doesn't really make sense as the only layer I would never want under the wheel would be the video. Maybe this can be changed by bbb in a future update.

Thanks again for the themes nlash.

I agree, it is strange that the video and video overlay is the only thing that can go below the wheel especially when you can choose to fade the wheel to any alpha. Even the placement of the video between Artwork1 and Artwork2 can be a pain with some themes. I hope that BBB gives theme creators the option of placing the video and wheel in any layer in Hypertheme 2.0.

Starting to work on more. Just super busy with the rest of the world.

Started some default themes and some handheld themes and I'll take a look at what consoles still need a theme (CDi, for one). The biggest hurdle is decent photos of the more obscure stuff.

I'll post some screens when I can.

Not sure if it's widescreen though.

Doesn't look like it. I'll make one that matches the other themes I've done.
