Ok, so after i get systems all set up in my HyperSpin/RocketLauncher set up i like to take a bit of time and actually play that system lol. So after getting GameBoy's all set up. I was playing GBA. One of the Pokemon games i think Emerald to be exact, but when i save the game it doesnt let me load it back up when i Reload the game through HS or RL. When i run VisualBoyAdvance-M by itself im able to save the game then load the game just fine when i close and re open. What really kind of baffles me though is that the game is saved and still is saved when i run the emulator by itself. but when i open it up through my HyperSpin the game save isnt there, i can literally go …

Hello, I have a problem to map control with nulldc and my mamecab (2 players). I selected the purupuru plugin because it's the only one with wich I can configure the buttons. But the problem is that I can only configure one player. The second player is not detected, I can't configure the buttons. My mamecab has an homemade arcade pad with two sets of buttons (2 players) connected with a single usb plug. It works for all others emulators but not on nulldc. Someone has an idea? By, thank you.

Hi everybody, I have an issu with my mamecab and hyperspin. I try to configure the control of my arcade pad (on my mamecab) with HyperHQ, I have defined the different buttons, but when I launch hyperspin, it works bad. I can push start and cancel but I can't move with my pad. I did the same thing with my old computer and hyperspin1.3 and it used to work well. But with my new configuration not. Someone has an idea ? I have most of my wheels set up and working fine, but P64 is launching incorrectly. It gives me a tiny low resolution window, and when I try to esc out of it, the overlay hangs onscreen and I have to kill the P64 task. I'm using the default RL module. Any ideas?

I am trying to get SSF to 16:9 stretch fullscreen when booting from HyperSpin/RocketLauncher. I can make it do this with no problem when booting straight from the emulator. However, as soon as I try with HS/RL the stretch option is unchecked. I have to Alt+Enter and go to options, re-check it, and Alt+Enter back to the game. However, it always defaults the stretch option back to nul if i use HS/RL at all. Stretch is only saved if I boot directly from SSF. I have played with the module's .ahk file, the modules .ini file, the global module settings, the SSF.ini in my SSF directory... and I'm at a complete loss. I set everything to stretch, but it refuses to comply. I kn…

Does anyone know how much space is actually being used by mame roms that currently don't have wheel artwork? I have my mame wheel set to wheels only so a large amount of games don't even show up and are just taking up space.... at some point I think I'm going to just separate my mame set... the roms with artwork for hyperpsin and the roms without artwork I'll just setup mame setup for them to run thru the UI version outside of HS.

so i final got retro arch to work in rlauncher runs a game perfect. but when i run it in hyperspin i get a blank screen the once i exit the game hyprer spin can nolonger load a new game. in the task manger hyper launch is still running if i close it i can select another game. is there a fix to both of these? many thanks for reading

After much stuffing around the solution was to first map the joysticks to player 1 and player 2 binds, then manually edit the retroarch.cfg file so by default the cfg file is configured for the below keyboard keys as an example: input_player1_a = "x" input_player1_b = "z" input_player1_y = "a" input_player1_x = "s" ... etc so just change the "x" , "z" etc to whatever you want and save the file, if your keyboard mapping conflicts with other hotkeys within the config as below: input_toggle_fullscreen = f input_toggle_fast_forward = space input_shader_next = m input_shader_prev = n ... etc just change the above to "nul" . something else or leave …

Hi, i downloaded retroarch from the austin video and as soo as i launch it it says "stopped working" i can see in the back ground in the cmd that it says "failed to bind api". I then downloaded the latest stabble version and still get the same error? If any one could help that would be great. this is out side of hyperspin running windows 7, have direct x installed, and other emulator work

Hello. I'm not sure if this is the right forum or not, I might try to post to the xpadder forums too, but I wanted to know if you ran into that issue first. I've been using Xpadder with Hyperspin and Rocketlauncher for a while, and it works well with all the emulators I used. Even MAME. However, at some point in time I can't really define with precision, it stopped working with MAME. The issue is that my joystick's buttons aren't caught by xpadder when mame is running. Or mame refuses to see these. I suspected a RL issue first, but checked the loaded profiles, the commandline, everything looked okay. I then started MAME out of RL and HS and it didn't work …

Having and issue with Windows 7 not shutting down when in Nestopia and pressing the PC's power button to shutdown. When I press the power button, I see the task manager come up with "this program is preventing windows from shutting down". In all other emulators I'm allowed to do this and windows closes each program on exit. Does anyone know how to have Nestopia get shut down if I press the power button on my PC?

Having just upgraded my rom set after years of neglect I have noticed loads of fruit machine roms from Bell Fruit, Barcrest etc. Are these playable in MAME as I have tried several of the Bell Fruit ones through Hyperspin without any success? Steve

This is weird because this used to work ok, now the screen will go slightly to the left and will create black bars on top and bottom. Tried with every aspec ration setting (RocketLauncher), tried both full screen and windowed mode. Seems like nothing helps.

I am not sure how many in the community here happen to have the bliss box 4 play as I do....but as much as I like using it to get the authentic feel of using the original controllers I also sometimes like the convenience that the wireless 360 controller offers (and sometimes I am too lazy to unravel another controller if I just changed systems. Anyways, on to my question...Is there a way that you guys can think of that I can have the option of either using the 4-play OR the wireless 360 controller for all of my emulators? I¨m trying to set up analog controls for ePSXe for my X-Arcade controller. The core pad plugin doesn't let you set the analog controls to keypresses, you need an actual analog controller for that. I have tried Lilypad and it almost works. I can map the analog sticks to keys but If I set keyboard API to windows messaging, no hotkeys work. The most important one is the exit emulator key, so I can't use that. If I set keyboard API to RAW input everything works great until I try to use AHK keymapping to remap my control stick to use the keys that control the Left analog stick instead of the d-pad. Hey Guys, So, I have retro-arch setup for the vast majority of my systems and it works fantastically (most of the time). When I set all these systems up I test 2-3 games per wheel to make sure everything ran, and have been working my way through each wheel with a fine-toothed comb to set everything up how I want it. Hi All, Does anyone know if Daphnie launcher + daphnie works with Windows 10? I tried to run the emu via Windows 10 pro with comparability mode XP SP2 ro Windows 7 and the daphnie.exe crashes after a few seconds when going full screen black. did anyone have success under Windows 10 please?

Hi there Just got my Amiga setup done, and all works in Rocket Launcher ok But, when I go to Hyperspin, and try to launch, I get an error saying, cannot find, followed by a location different from the one I specified in Hyper HQ for the Amiga I'm sure this is a simple fix if you speak computer. I don't. so, any advice greatly appreciated. Many thanks

Was just looking at the Sega Saturn and the emulator seems to be the hardest out of all to set up... Other than Sonic R, is there anything there worth playing? Looking at the lists most seem to be on other consoles, but wondering if there are any gems I'm missing if i leave it off... Thanks!

If 5 systems all use the same core.... Is it possible to have all 5 systems use a different bezel? Game Gear, Master System, 32x, Sega CD and Genesis all use the same core... I am talking about using the bezel option built into retro arch. Not the one for Rocket Launcher. It only uses 1 config file for the core genesis_plus_gx_libretro.dll

ok so i can load games in rocketlauncher no problem but the moment i try to load it in hyperspin it opens then closes. If you disable fullscreen it will open no problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Is it a resolution problem?

Hello i would change the settings but I dont know how o only mame plus There is a List an right mouse click.... I dont know where is the txt File where can I change this or is that possible to add a List too and configurqtion the games ....

I posted this in the RL forums, but I figured there are more active people here that I bet can answer this one. I'm using an X-arcade controller and at the moment I have to set up each of my MS-DOS games with AHK Keymapping since most games won't let you redefine keys. I was just wondering if you can connect an XBOX 360 controller and just use it out of the box so to speak. Can you just start a game and select joystick input and play? In that case maby I can use the XBOX 360 emulator software with my X-arcade and I won't have to create AHK profiles for each game.
