I am having a problem with ePSXe when started with hyperspin where the emulator appears to freeze/crash. I have looked through all the other issues on this site about this problem, but noticed that nobody seemed to find a good fix. They either switched to a different emulator or loaded Daemon Tools. I would like to solve this problem without using Daemon tools. It works fine when launched from manually from windows explorer or when I launch it from the games tab in Rocket Launcher UI, so we should be able to solve this through hyperspin without adding DT IMHO. I have slow boot turned on which displays the original sony logo from the bios. It crashes just after the 2nd pay…

Hi all, I did have an issue with my Hyperspin install and need to reinstall everything from scratch...(HDD DEAD) :S As this was an old Hyperspin version, I began to have a look at the current version which is no 1.4 and seem to have a lot of changes. Looks like lots of emulators are now replaced by retroarch that can be used to emulate a very wide range of systems. My question is the following, do anyone know where I could grab a link, torrent file or anything that links to a recent configured Hyperspin environment ? Every now and again, I will load a game that uses retroarch, but for whatever reason, will crash it. This will bring up a dialog box in RA that says "Retroarch has crashed" or something to that effect. I get it, nothing is 100%, however, the problem I have is that it locks up HS and sometimes my PC. Often times, I can't click ok to get rid of the error and/or I will lose all mouse control. CTRL+ALT+DELETE or Even ALT F4 can sometimes fix the issue, but often times, I lose mouse control. Anyway, is there a better way to handle it so that RA can crash, but then I can just keep using Hyperspin without having to shut everything down and re-open? Does any of th…

Hello all im new to hyper spin iv been following a youtube guide so far being able to setup the program. and iv got to the point were im installing an emulator. in this case its retroarch. iv installed the emulator and set it up within hyperspin to work with sega genesis. Not sure what im doing wrong but in rocket launcherUI under sega genesis. i click the blue icon that brings up lots of games for the gensiss. all are in red but the rom i have witch is in green. problem is when i click launch selected game. i get an error message can not find D:\My Games\emu\hyperspin133\Databases\future pinball\future pinball.xml i dont no what this is .were have i gon wrong? al…

Hey guys i recently downloaded a game pack for mame but its labeled as a "Mame 0.156 Rom Pack" i can still use this with the latest version of mame, right? it has 9000+ Roms. If i am correct in assuming this, which version of mame should i run? which is the most stable, and compatible with the newest version of Hyperspin? I purchased a premade hyperspin drive a while back and i decided that i'd rather make my own build that is customized. Right now i have newest version of Hyperspin with Super Nintendo, NES, Sega Genesis, Gameboy, etc running. Im slowly trying to add the more difficult systems. Thanks for the help, Travis

Hi Guys, I'm trying to get RetroArch going with N64 using my XBOX 360 controllers, but it's not quite working out. The stick sensitivity is way too high for the 360 controllers in RetroArch. Changing the sensitivity settings from 0-30 doesn't seem to have much of an impact. Is this a known issue or is there a solution I'm missing?

All, I have a USB connected J-Pac hooked up running HyperSpin. I have all emulators running completely fine with no issues, however I decided to try out a few of the newer PC games (Mortal Kombat X, and Super StreetFighter IV: Arcade Edition) to my setup. I have no issue launching games from within HS however once the game starts my controls don't respond. If I hook up a USB keyboard I can navigate the games, but once I go to reassign the controls again my joysticks and buttons hooked up to the J-Pac are not recognized. I have also launched the game outside of HS with no luck. Has anyone run into an issue like this before? Thank you for any ideas or though…

I am trying to get retroarch to work with SNES emulation, and I want to use the control panel, not my xbox controller. First, is it possible in RetroArch to use a USB and keyboard inputs simultaneously? Should I use Xpadder with RetroArch? I cant seem to get anything working. I have 4 ultrastiks, and 2 xbox controllers. The other issue I had was every time I started retroarch, it would recognize the two xbox controllers but not the ultrastiks, until i unplugged the x360 pads. Now I can select Ultrastik 1, but I still am nowhere. Any insight that anyone can provide, I would be indebted. Ive spent the better part of two days just trying to get retroarch going. Thanks!…

Hey Ok So I downloaded the stable version it works fine. I upgraded to rocketlauncher and wanted to use latest retroarch 5/11/2015 Nightly. I downloaded it. When I click retroarch it errors out? I tried over writing the stable one too but I get same error. I am guessing it is not compiled or something? Can anyone explain what I have to do? I already want to smash this pc as the whole rocketlaunch update is not working.. so now this.... please help. Thx Jim

Does anyone know how to configure these 2 systems on RetroArch, because when i choose to Bind All it goes through the B,Y,Select,A,B etc but none of them seem to work for the run button, I think maybe the problem is that my first controller is listed as IPAC and not my U360 sticks...? If not how do i convert all my img's to CHD so i can use them in mess...? i'd rather not do this as it's gonna take awhile...

RA seems to load the core (Nestopia core) just fine and occasionally I will get some sound flickers, but just a black a screen. Nothing else happens. If I run use Mednafin instead of RA, It works fine (minus the resolution issue I have with mednafin and using bezels). Everything was working fine a couple of weeks ago, just went to try it today and no go. Haven't messed with RA at all or even NES. Only updates I've done are the Auto RocketLauncher updates. I don't remember seeing anything that would cause issues with NES or RA unless there was a module update that I didn't see? has anybody else seen this issue? Is black screen type bios issue? Or do bios …

Hey guy's quick question. i am new and currently setting up my system. I have all roms and artwork at this point, now i am setting it up in rocket launcher and configuring the emulators. When setting up systems should i have a different folder for every system emulator? For example, retroarch can support a lot of systems, should i have multiple copies of retroarch for each system i want to use? Such as PS1, and GBA. Or can i just have a Retroarch folder and point rocket launcher to it for each system and it will work? Same goes for Mess. Thanks for the advice!

I'm trying to configure demul for Sammy Atomiswave. I'm trying to make 2 or 3 different configurations. The first configuration is with 2 XBOX 360 controllers. I have 1 XBOX 360 controller configured. But I cannot find the settings for a second XBOX 360 controller. Configuration 2, I would like to use player 1 and player 2 default MAME settings for my arcade controller for fighting games and side scrollers. Configuration 3, I would like to use my XBOX 360 controllers but configure them differently for driving games so that the analog sticks are used for steering and acceleration oppose to the DPAD. I think this is very possible. I think I may have messed some stuff up…

Has any one got a Retroarch setup and working, I have been trying for ages to get it working with mixed result, Which versions is better, with module should i be using. 32bit or 64bit I dont mind, I do have it working but the Module will not quit and gives a error of may be wrong version of enulator........, am using retroarch v 1.0.0.2 module is 1.0.0.3 beta, Can some one give me a link or point me in the right directory, I have tried downloading from the web site, but still go around and around, Im not a new to this, as I have been using hyperspin for years, Didnt think it would be this differcult.
