I'm sure this has been answered before but I can't seem to find anything in this new forum. I've setup AAE and it's running mostly fine but it always stretches to fill the screen. The 4:3 option in the emulator does nothing and neither does changing the ini settings. I tried adding a bezel but it basically covers the sides of the screen but the game is still running fully stretched behind it. Running it in a window only gives me a small window in the middle of the screen. Another thing I noticed is that in Asteroids (original not deluxe), pressing the shield button makes my ship disappear. I know I could use mame and use Gigapigs excellent vector settings but …

I was having some issues with motion blur with my older monitor. It turns out the response time on it was 20ms which was just horrible for any game I'd run. I picked up a nice monitor with 8ms response time and now I have NO problem with motion blur anymore. Now my problem is getting v-sync perfect. It seems like some games v-sync fine with the "wait for v-sync" setting turned on but others like Ghouls n Ghosts have some screen tearing. I've heard this is because the refresh rate is different for each game, but I'm not sure how to make adjustments for that so that I no longer have v-sync issues. I've tried enabling v-sync from the Nvidia control panel but that does noth…

Hi Guys, I'm having trouble with the latest version of Kat5200. Mapping most inputs works fine, however, when I remap the NumPad inputs (1,2,3,4 etc) from the NumPad to the numbers at the top of the keyboard, they no longer work. If I leave them as they are mapped by default... they work fine... Is this a known issue? Do I need to nullify all other inputs -- to prevent conflicts? And is so, how do I do that? Thanks!

I've been trying to work out how to set up ePSXe to turn on/off analog support on a per game basis automatically, since some games are incompatible. When I load a game I get the error of ppge_atlas.zim missing from the assets folder. I tried placing the assets folder under Retroarch/system/assets, and Retroarch/system/ppsspp and Retroarch/system/ppsspp/assets... also putting the .zim under system root.. but still not working?? Anyone know how to fix

I'm just getting RetroArch up and running to replace my individual emulators for NES, SNES, and Genesis. For some reason both Genesis core options just aren't working with bezels under RocketLauncher. The screen will flicker several times then just go into the game with black bars on each side vs the bezels. Bezels work fine for the NES and SNES cores, as well as for the individual Genesis emulator I've been using for a while (Fusion). Thoughts? Thanks!

Now perhaps the title is a bit exaggerated as it doesn't really "lock" my harddrive but if I try to remove or alter file's it doesn't refresh right away and I have to hit the refresh button manually. The problem I'm having is that when I previously installed SSF with Deamon Tool's as I was told that you have to have it to operate that emulator, so I downloaded Deamon Tool's since I saw so many people download it with no problem's and originally since I did auto installation it installed malware and spyware onto my computer that completely destroyed my browser and slowed my computer. Luckily I was able to fix it through a tutorial that someone gave me and tried to reinstal…

Hi, i have a problem using 4 usb adapters (2 snes (tomee) and 2 nintendo 64 (mayflach dual)), im planing on having all connected at the same time, and they all work fine on windows (ive checked on devices and printers and all the inputs are registered), the problem is when im setting the keys on the emulators (zsnes and project64), for project 64 theres no problem, for zsnes it only lets me set the player 1, if i want to set player 2 i have to unplug the two n64 adapters and it works but when i plug the n64 adapters back both snes adapters stop working, i know this is a problem of zsnes because i use snes9x and i can set both players ok, ive installed again zsnes and i h…

Hi Guys, Weird problem with MESS and Magnavox Odyssey 2... When I test KC Munchkin, the game loads fine but the maze walls disappear anytime I move my character. I've included a video. I've been using Retroarch for my PSX games but I'm not really happy with the graphics. I can't find a filter I like. so I decided to give Epsxe a try but can't get the thing to work. My rom set is a mix of bin/cue and img/ccd If I load a bin file I get the message "recompile block too large" If I load a img file it tels me my virtual drive can't mount img. Does this emulator only accept ISO files? Should I even switch from Retroarch?

I tried playing House of the Dead with two light guns, both of them shoot, however player two "steals" ammo from player one. In other words, house of the dead sees two guns, but the controls are set for only one. Player twos ammo is shown on the screen, but never depletes and both guns reload player 1's ammo. I think it is due to them both emulating a mouse click. I have the application by Aimtrak, but I don't see anyway to map the trigger to anything other than a mouse click. I also tried troubleshooter, but that didn't seem to work. It is probably something simple I am overlooking. Thanks for you replies. -Jon

Hey guys, Doing my first hyper spin set up as I look to build my first MAME arcade build in an old wine barrel. But struggling a little with set up. Hoping someone can kindly help me out. Have downloaded current versions of Hyperspin, RocketLauncher and MAMEUIFX0.161. Have carried out the following steps: 1. Placed MAMEUIFX files into my hyperspin emulator folder 2. Opened RocketLauncher 3. In the Global emulators tab in RocketLauncher, have selected MAME and in the path tab linked it to my mameuifx64.exe 4. Hi a newbie at this and have been tinkering with Mame. I have a large rom pack but Im finding some roms will just not boot. I cant get them to launch in rocket launcher or hyperspin. The Rom will go to boot and you see it go to about 30 or 80% etc and it will then fail to load and go back to menu screen. Some examples of problem roms. All the neo geo roms/capcom Super Sprint, World Cup 90, Spy Hunter for example. I have donloaded the rom from different sources and this still has not solved the problem. I tried Winkawaks for NEO Geo and it works fine as a standalone emulator, but just wont launch games in hyperspin or hyperlauncher.

I have mess 160 and downloaded the bios and rom files. the rom files end with .bin. I get these files from a well known source for all the emulated systems. mess will not recognize them including the no intro files which also ends with .bin. All these files are zip files. I thought this would be like mame. In order to finish my hyperspin arcade I need to get these mess files working.

Hey, I recently switched over to Retroarch for my main PSX emulator. I was using regular mednafen previously and everything worked just fine as I remember it. I copied all my bios files over to where they should be on Retroarch and have been using the PSX mednafen core. Anyway, when the new XML came out for PSX I started updating files and when I started testing European games, I'm just getting a blank screen. USA games still work fine, haven't tested Japanese games yet... but yeah, anyone else having issues?

Hello everyone. I have trouble configuring PCSX2 correctly for PS2 emulation. I'm not even sure I'm using the right version or anything, but I have glitches here and there on some games and some problems with a few games not loading up when I launch them through Hyperspin/Rocketlauncher, but that work fine when I open them via the Emulator. Which is best, loading up the ISO or using Daemon Tools? Does anyone have a PCSX2 setup on FTP perhaps? Thanks in advance.
