Hey Guys I have just got round to setting up the bezels for mame. Everything is working and I have the bezels and scanlines looking sweet. thing is when I open a game I get a window around the bezels as they are loading, I have added backgrounds to the rocketlauncher background folder and set global and mame backgrounds to true with no joy to hide this annoying visual, but alas to no avail. What am I missing??

Hi all, I've been working on setting up HyperSpin with GroovyMame since yesterday. I managed to get MAME, SNK Neo Geo and Capcom Play System 1 working well. However, I'm trying to set up CPS II but I just can't get the games to start in RocketLauncher or HyperSpin. I had the same problem with CPS 1 and fixed it by downloading the CPS 1 xml Database from hyperspin-fe. I'm of course using the CPS 2 xml database from hyper-spin-fe now but it just won't work. Hoping anyone can help me out. I tried to look through this log file and noticed it said the rom was not found. Is this the issue? Because the zip file is in the roms folder, so it should. ? Lo…

I can't find any decent tutorials or guides that deal with just the base software. I don't care to use Rocket Launcher as I have neither idea what that even is, nor do I need anything extra. The base software seems to work just fine for organizing the games into a nice menu, or at least that's what it looks like on youtube... At this point, I'm so aggravated by this software that I can't even type proper sentences without wanting to use foul language or act like a jerk. I'm just so.... angry. Hello to all! I've searched around the board, but unfortunately I couldn't find the same issue with a solution, so I decided to start a new topic. I have a hyperspin setup with different Emulators, and I was used to start those with the "Enter" key. This won't be working anymore. When I hit now the "Enter" key, Hyperspin jumps back to the emulator selection to the default emulator instead of starting the selected emulator. Also the "ESC"-Key won't exit the Hyperspin anymore. It toggles now between pause and un-pause hyperspin. I can only leave hyperspin with [ALT]+[F4] now. The setting file is configured correctly and is unchanged in the relev…

I have setup hyperspin correctly (I think) I have added some nes roms.When I launch them from rocketlauncher it works fine but when I go into hyperspin and I press the nes system it will kick me back to the main menu without showing me even the roms.Btw hypersync says: Hypersync could not find any configured systems. Need some help. I have successfully installed most emulators, steam games and non steam games onto my install. I have Forza 4 for the windows store. Does anyone know how to get that running from hyperspin? The usual methods of adding the game to the database and telling pclauncher what exe to load doesn’t seem to work.

I was wondering if anyone has had an opportunity to use Bliss Box within their setup? I am currently using Joy 2 Key for my controller setup, and I was trying to use this product, but whenever I tried to switch the controllers, the device should send an auto-pause command so I could switch out controllers, but it seems not to work. Hi, I have just downloaded and installed Hyperspin, RocketLauncher and Don's Hyperspin ROM Renamer. I have been following the tutorial videos and have been successful up to the point of renaming my roms. I only have MAME installed so far and have downloaded the latest XML file for the ROMS. When I try and run The renamer tool it does not seem to do anything, the program loads and I tell it the location of the XML (MAME 02/08/2016) in my hyperspin folder, I tell it the address of the Roms folder and I tell it where the new files should go. when I hit "scan" the new window opens but nothing changes. I tried watching the tutorial again but I feel like I'm missing something…

I run into a weird issue running HyperSpin on a laptop with ati 5000M and pentium G cpu. Basically if HS reads a movie (.mp4 or flv with h264 codec) before launching a game the videocard get somewhat stuck and can't properly run mame BGFX nor RetroArch CG shaders, slowing down the whole thing. Without shaders emulation's speed is ok and using Flv with FL1 codec inside HS totally resolve the problem. The bug happens when HS engine is used to load/unload videos and when I load/unload the videos using my actionscript3 code inside a .swf, OS is Windows7 Ultimate SP1. The question is this: does HS actually steals GPU power when using .mp4 and I never noticed it …

Ok long story short, i just got back from a tour of duty, now state side. Fired up my cabinet for the first time since i left, played for few hours last night, windows updated over night, put 2 and 2 together and downloaded the new hyperspin update, made exceptions to the fire wall of all the hyperspin.exe including rocket launcher and HQ. Reloaded it up... and now none of my buttons work. gah... what am i missing?

Hi, Hoping someone can help with this, I've just updated Hyperspin, and found that once it boots up, it goes to the last wheel used - which is fine, but i'm sure that when left alone for a few minutes, the wheel would shuffle between other system frontends, until you touch the controls again Am i going mad, or is there a box that needs ticking in Hyper HQ? Little problem . When i scroll in my mame games , i get always to see " current games : all genres " How to get rid of this ? In mame database i get rid of all the oter folders , i have there only my database that i created trought rocketlaucher . I am just creating my mame list with my selection of the best games .

So im working on running a ton of custom games through hyperspin. Although recently some games from GOG are having issues. It may have something to do with unity games though. So the fallowing are games ive been having issues with. -Clustertruck -Mr President -Timberman -Paranotical Activity The issue with these games is that when you run these games they open a configuration window which is basically only used to set controls and display. Although it pops up every time and you have to click play to actually launch the games. Hi, I'm new here and new to this whole thing so bear with me. I am building an arcade cabinet for my two kids and I am a little stuck at the moment. In advance, I am sorry if I posted this in the wrong place. I got HyperSpin working with RocketLauncher, I got a platinum membership here and a lifetime membership at Emumovies and I now I am trying to have all the artwork downloaded for my roms. The problem is I have no idea how to do it so that it downloads and puts these huge video files onto another disk. Hello, I have vertcial sync problems and pixellisation on the animations (themes and video transitions). I'v tried in HyperHQ to uncheck the fullscreen mode and the problem disappears for both only if I'm less than my screen resolution 1920x1080. If check Fullscreen or let the windowed mode at 1920x1080, I have both problems. I'v tried to change vertical sync in Nvidia Control Panel to adaptive, On and Off but the problem remains. Hello. Using HyperSpin 1.5.1 When I try to add a Pc game with the HyperHQ wizard I can't add the .exe. I can choose the .exe file but the path is left blank. Can't type the path in either. I have added stand alone games like Fightcade just fine before but now I can't add another game the same way. Any help would be great.

Im kinda new to this section and I noticed its confusing figuring out what to put where in what folder and what do i add to show on menu. Then where do i put this cmd to play in android. ect ect . I hope you get my gist of my sentence. But i was thinking has anybody made a script that auto reads any files dropped into a folder and basically writes the cmd to say the finished output?..
