I have a strange problem with Demul (atomiswave and Naomi) on hyperspin When lunching Demul last version (outside hyperspin) my controller (pad) work fine every time i open games, but when i open hyperspin, i lost all the control config settings i have to reconfig them each time i open hyperspin (all emulators work s fine and modul 0.7 is all default) Why demul lost his control config each time i enter hyperspin, i tested it outside hyperspin, and the configs are saved Is it a rocket luncher problem ? This issue happened to someone befor me ?

Well weird weird my buddys cab allnof a sudden Hyperspin will not launch games. menu scrolling works fine , can progress and regress through systems just fine, but when t comes time to select the game, Hyperspin does nothing I don’t even get a error on the screen, just stays on the game screen. any ideas where to start? I checked HQ and my navigation buttons are correct.

I have bset up my emulators in there own folders and roms in there own folders aswell i have audited the roms in rocket luncher and they can laurnch from RL the roms have the same name as the database and launch without rom only mode i have set up the rom path in Hyper HQ and the extentions correctly with comers , Why can't i get into the wheel wwith rom only mode on

My family and I really enjoy using Hyperspin Frontend for a few years now. Overtime I have been able to address many of my issues through this forum and internet searches. However, one last issue remain elusive and still had not been addressed by the latest version 1.5.1. I found many threads on this forum make mention of the possible issue causing Hyperspin to eventually freeze forcing us to close and reopen after several hours of use whether idling or coming out of a game back to Hyperspin. This interrupts our family and friend's fun streak when gaming on the machine using Hyperspin for long periods of time. I believe many on here are aware it is most likely due to the …

Not sure if this is posted in correct place but wondering if anyone on here uses the aimtracks as I’ve got a query if anyone can help? I’ve got two setup, everything's fine with them, but I did notice something I’ve never seen before. While both guns were in the holsters (pointing down away from the screen) my 5 yr old pressed the trigger on the player 1 gun. This then brought up the windows bar at the bottom of the screen (while hyperspin was running) I’ve never noticed this before, and I’m assuming it’s due to the offscreen reload when the trigger is pressed away from the screen. Just wondering if anyone has any idea how you stop this happeni…

Seeking some help. Done hyperspin and rocket launcher for years but very little in the last year. Turned on my computer/arcade yesterday and played games. Today it updated windows and my hyperspin would not work. downloaded the latest update files for hyperspin from the site. Hyperspin starts but when game selected it says the ol’ ‘’Default emulator not found”. I remember this from years ago and fixing it somehow and I think it was something simple. Any thoughts? I goto launch atari 2600, 7800, Lynx, NES, SNES, Sega M/S Genesis, 32X, Sega CD… I click on the game wheel and I click on the game to load. I have a fade screen set up and I watch the load bar move left to right then My screen goes back to the games system wheel and I am frozen for 40 seconds and THEN the game loads. I am using Hyperspin as my front end with the assistance of Rocket Launcher I am using RetroArch for these systems… Any suggestions why I have to pause 40seconds? It doesnt do this on Daphne, MESS or Mame. Is it possible that Retroarch is in some way delaying the game from booting up? Or do you think the problem is in RocketLauncher or Hyp…

I have watched the videos. and read the threads. I am making progress, but still have some issues. Okay I have rocketlauncher loaded, and linked to Hyperspin. All my paths a correct linking my emulators, and roms... But still does not work. When Hyperspin loads the wheels it show games I do not have, and does not show games I do have. In rocketlauncher I use this syntax (PSX for instance is) cue|bin|7x What is happening is the games I can access, I am getting a message the roms are not found with provided extensions.. The paths are correct I so want to get this program to work for me. HELP !!!!!

Hola a todos, tengo un problema y quería ver si me podían ayudar, hoy instale el retros 2.0.3 en un pc viejo, luego hice la del flojo y descargue un hyperspin ya configurado con juegos y todo, después de instalar los drivers puse el programa en el disco C, pero al abrirlo solo me sale abajo en la barra el hyperspin como que abrió pero en realidad no pasa nada. algún programa lo bloquea? De antemano gracias PD: utilice el hyperspin ya configurado y funciono en otro pc

I've spent a number of hours with Hyperspin and Rocketlauncher, and think I mostly have a handle on it, I have two emulators set up for two systems, and they launch fine from RocketLauncher.exe. But when I try to access my games through Hyperspin, every time I try to launch a game (MAME or SNES), I get an error with "Modules\Module Extensions\Gdip.ahk", Autohotkey.dll can't read it. I examined the Gdip.ahk file, which I assume is autogenerated (It wasn't in the original download), and it actually contains html, I've attached a picture of the web page it brings up. So it seems like there was an error when it tried to generate the file, and it got filled with html. …

Does all of your emulators and ROMS need to be inside the Hyperspin Directory. I have installed my Hyperspin on drive "C", but all my emulators, and roms are located on my "H" Drive. If so I need to get a larger harddrive. If not is there a way to link them between drives? I have used the option to tell Hyperspin where to find my ROMS, and Emulators, but it does not seem to locating them.

Pardon the ignorance of a newbie here but I have a couple of questions that I am sure the more advanced users can help me with: 1. How do I add ALL the games in my ROM files to the program. Using the Emulator tab in Hyper HQ for my Mame. I linked Hyperspin to my MAME ROM folder. It shows games I do not have, and does not show games I do. I need to sync the wheel menu with the ROM folder so it will accurately depict the games I have. 2. Is there a step by step tutorial on how to add systems that is dummy proof. Hey! So I finally got my cabinet up and running this weekend and been enjoying it a lot. I am very much a noob on all this and have been using guides to get it all set up. Everything seems to be running great except for one thing that has happened once so far. So me and my brother had been playing a couple games in a row, I would say we had been at it for about 3 hours. I finally have a crt connected by crtemudriver on windows xp. Sadly on XP I can't run the current version of hyperspin. I'm not completely sure, but I believe Hyperspin used to work on xp. Does anyone know the last version that worked on XP? I think it should be the last version that used hyperlaunch instead of rocketlauncher... Where can I download older versions?

At the beginning i would to use the rom name system of TOSEC, without have to rename the artwork, video of Hyperspin. first time user of hyperspin and just downloaded 1.5.1 full version from here,ive been following simply austins guide setting up ,but that's based on version 1.4 and all as gone well apart from getting hyperspin to display fullscreen,It seems in the 1.5.1 download there is no hyperHQ file to alter the settings,its all setup with rocketlaunch but no fullscreen,am I missing something simple?

Hi, I've been away from Hyperspin for a while but slowly getting back into building a new setup with complete ROM sets. I'm using the Hyperlist XML's with ClrMAMEPro to rebuild my cartridge based systems but I'm struggling to verify some of the ROMs. Can I just confirm that the included CRC32 values are incorrect for some of the XML's or am I just not looking for the ROMs hard enough? The XML's I'm having issues with are Genesis, SMS, GameBoy, NES, Famicom, Famicom Disk System, SNES and Super Famicom.. each set has several missing ROMs that have CRC32 values that don't seem to match up to anything found online? Hi, i’m looking for the past 2 weeks a solutions on the hyperspin forum but don’t find anything that helps. The problem is if i startup Hyperspin the arcade buttons don’t respond. It only responds when i first click a button on the keyboard.When i get to the second wheel. The problem repeats itself. So back again, click on keyboard then the arcade joystick responds. I don’t know what the problem is. I did everything what was said on the tutorial . Can anyone help me please ? I know that its the 10000000 time that someone ask for help with the controls. Hi guys hope to get help here - been trying everthing i could thing of but cant get daphne to be running with hyperspin. dont know where to start to get help but i´ll try :-) downloaded packs and the wheel shows up correct. rocketlauncher is configured like some tuts show and hyperHQ also. games run if i start them from within rocketlauncher using the ROCKET Button so i thing the problem is with the hyper hq parameters. the error it gives out is exactly like i would just click the daphne.exe from the daphne folder. hope someone can help . thanks

Hi all Very new to this. I have HS and Mame working, no problems - I am now trying to work out how to customise the appearance. The 1st thing I am trying to do is remove around 8000++ game names from the Mame game list on the wheel as I am only wanting to run around 150 old Arcade games ( DK, Pacman etc - from that era ) and I really dont need to scroll / roll through 800 game titles to get to one of my games I have watched the 10 x Tutorial videos and this isnt explained ( unless I missed it ? ). Hi. I"m trying to upgrade my version of Hyperspin and just downloaded the 1.5.1 upgrade. I know in the past there has been false positives with firewall/virus scans for the download, but I'm getting a very specific warning when I try to extract from Windows Defender: Trojan:Win32/Zpevdo.A Alert Level: Severe Has anyone else received this message? Hi all - new user here - Platinum member - but keep getting "Could not verify Hyperspin membership..." when trying to set up HyperSync (latest version from downloads page, installed in same folder as HyperSpin). Any advice would be appreciated.
