Been trying to figure out how to use Project64 2.2 (N64 emulator) with HS on Windows. The emulator exe (call it p64.exe) takes a command line argument for the ROM. p64.exe "%ROM"% However, I have found that even with quotes, the emulator won't load the ROM unless it's the older style 8.3 format. Is there a way to configure HS to convert the long file name to the 8.3 format? If not, I suppose a batch file would work (echo %s1).

Hi, hope someone can help, I go in to ePSXe 2 set video settings, try it and it works but when I start Hyperspin and run a psx iso the settings have reset to basic. I go back to the video settings for ePSXe 2 and they have all been reset, anyone know how to stop this...

I am using the latest version of ePSX. Games boot fine from Emulator, but hangs in RL..It stays stuck on black screen with PSX controller in the upper right hand corner. Anyone have a remedy for this?

This is my first time setting up Hyperspin and RocketLauncher. I have paid the platnium membership and the EMUmovies membership and have been following Simply Austins videos on youtube. When in Rocketluancher I can start and play my MAME roms but when I start HyperSpin the enter button goes into MAME but won't start a ROM. What am I missing? Thanks for the help in advance!

But it doesn't launch. Everything else in that folder does. Any idea why? I am using RocketLauncher as well.

Hi all I have just found hyperspin and what a great front end. I am using a Madcatz TE2 joystick to control it with RL and JoytoKey. I have only neo geo set up at the moment to test. I am using MAME as the emu. Once I open hyperspin I can use the joystick to move, enter wheels and exit wheels and select a game. All great so far. I can also exit the emu using a defined button. However when I do this no joystick commands no longer work. secondly I have configured the buttons in mame itself for neo games. However the buttons I want for coin 1 and P1 start have to be manually edited for each new game in the tab option then this system menu. can any…

I have the aftermarket LED scoreboard for Dragons Lair hooked up through the LPT1 port. If I launch Dragon's Lair directly through Daphne it works perfectly, But If I launch Dragon's Lair through Hyperspin it does not work at all? Make no sense to me, and I cannot find any info anywhere to fix the problem. Please Help If you know, Thanks Jeff

Anyone have any luck getting 2 lightguns to work in mame 0.172? I can get one to work no problem but the second one just comes up as gun 1 also. I have tried enabling multimouse and dual light guns and nothing has worked. I'm using the stock version of mame64

Hello Team, I am attempting to inatall CP3 Emulator v1.0.a (Nebula) I've gone through the basics: added new emulator (called CPS3) under Global-emulator in HL-HQ added Capcom Play System III - under systems Selected correct rom path in emulator under Capcom System 3 system Selected CPS3 as default emulator I go to game, run audit, they are all there: I go to Launch through hyperlaunch and it says: Cannot Find: C:yHperspin\Hyperlaunch\modules\CPS3\CPS3.ahk. OK, I am new, but learning fast. Everything works great in HyperSpin. Wheels, vids, games load, roms are good. I have gone through my roms folder and filtered out, then deleted all the junk. Like the Mature, Japanese Mahjong and fruit games. I want to build a new Hyperlist for my rom set. Don's Tools does this for me when I point it to my roms folder. But the big issue, Don's Tools also cleans wipes out any "year", "Genre" type info for each rom. How do I get this back, or how do I create a list that keeps all the original data? I am using Dons Hyperspin Tools 4.3.26, which does not look anything like what he is using in his youtube video at all. Thanks...

I'm having trouble getting Multi Disc and Hyperpause working in SSF Emulator. If i try to load multi disc it goes to black screen and hyperpause crashes the Emulator. I'm Using SSF 012 R4 and Daemon tools 10.2, does anyone have this working? Thanks. *UPDATE* I have managed to get Multi Disc working, I had to turn off SSF run as admin. I still can't get hyperpause working but it now just goes to black screen, are there any suggestions I could try?

Hi guys, new here.. I am having a couple of emulators opeing up BEHIND Hyperspin when loading a game in Full Screen. Project64 and BeebEm both seem to open then disappear leaving Hyperspin in front. The emus are still running and if I hit my exit combo (Alt+F4 in both these), Hyperspin exits immediately, leaving the emu and game running and can be played as normal.\ Any ideas? Cheers

hey all. ive been at this for quite a bit and did all the research i can. Basically im just trying to add my cps1-3 games as well as neo geo. Heres my question. I have cps3 emulator which i set up as a new emulator for cps3 games. Those are working fine. So i now am trying to set up cps 1 and 2, as well as neo geo. I saw that winkawaks and nebula can both be used to run these, but im having trouble launching either one. In RL I set up the winkawaks and nebula emulators with the exe directories and modules, etc. I can launch the emulator itself from within RL. I have a plethora of rom sets, but unfortunately, they are not Hyperspin ready. I have several tools listed below along with a small example of files that would need renaming...I can't sem to get these tools to work properly. Hi everyone. I'm new to Hyperspin and have spent the past few days messing around to get everything just right. Tonight I ran into a small error I was hoping to receive help with. While setting up my GBA emulator (VBA), I came across an error saying it wasn't valid as a name, or that the system was not yet supported. I've tried this with another emulator as well with the same result. I'm unsure of how to proceed from this point. This wouldn't be too large of an issue, but for some reason, something I did has made this happen with every other emulator I'm trying to run for any other system now. I don't know what the problem is with this. I have looked at the problems within this forum and I am not sure that is the problem here. Mame plays intro video fine. It will not play videos in the game section. I can hear the video being played, but I cannot see the videos. The videos work fine on all other systems except for mame. I find it extremely odd and would love it if anyone could help me with this problem.

hey all, thank you for the help. Im in a odd predicament. I recently salvaged an old pc to see if it will run hyperspin. Turns out, it runs great, except with some issues regarding sound and video out puts. So.. The pc has onboard vga out only. When that is connected to a regular vga monitor, i get near flawless use with hyperspin. Problem is i need hdmi out. So i had a janky little video card, a nvidia ion pegatron. But i noticed, when using the video card, it makes systems like NES, SNES, GENESIS and Turbo grafx have TERRIBLE sound stuttering and doubling up. These are all ran in mess BTW. So i went and ordered a cheap but well reviewed vga to hdmi adapter which carries…

After reading a series of forums, I found that I had to update my .Net Framework, as well as a series of other headaches. Hello, Where can I find bezels to include in my Hyperspin setup. I saw the tutorial by GigaPig and want to give it a try. When I search for Bezels on this site, someone said they could be found on the FTP site. Well, I can't see to find where the FTP site is (can't find address or any info about it) or low to log on...
