Funny fact... It's actually cheaper to make a cart now than a blueray game. Also if you use read write ssd the speeds are much faster than the blue ray installs. Means you can have per game saves, DLC always included with purchases and simple game ready at all times as games are always installed and updataable.  Kind of like a removable hard drive encrypted per game.

 

It's said the new Nintendo NX is said to be using these features .... I do love the idea of Coleco coming back

I was just about to scream bullshit as I thought it would up against PS4, but no, just retro.

That is and it will be using the Jaguar case.

And did anyone know about the handheld that was put out in 2006.

I love video games and I loved my ColecoVision (except for the great lie that was Tunnles & Trolls), but I can't imagine ever buying this unless there was something truly awesome about it.

And this is nothing to do with the old Coleco you know and loved. It was brought to life by some company who digs up old companies for revitalization. 

Not something I would buy or back, but still interesting.

What a intresting concept and who would have thought coleco would be back to hit the scene especially with a cart type rather then cd this will be intresting to follow up on.  And chances is cause this is a cart system.  emulation for this system will be simple to be obtained and made playable.

Seeing these on aliexpress.com but with real snes colors. This console is the shape of an atari jaguar with a wii u controller. Just another chinese product.

Colecovision was my first console, war games , baseball, smurfs, donkey kong.. Good memories with this behemoth controller haha!
