I know is fucken bullshit all this spam junk something needs to be done about it if possible a time out system where if people keep spamming they will get more min on there time outs and if they keep it up a 1 day ban to let them think about to not spam and waste our time maybe the captcha idea would be annoying buit it would keep buzzards and spammers out so im with you on that idea manics.

It only really bothers me on my phone. I don't care what they say, just as long as I don't have to see it. If I could block individual spammers that would be ideal. I don't want to be punished (read have to use captcha) cause of these jerks.

Congratulate Polemicist on his new Super Moderator status. He should now have the ability to eliminate spammers in a few clicks!

I also implemented a mod that limits new threads to 1 per day and 5 replies per day to standard registered users. This should stop the large attacks like what happened today and give a mod the chance to delete/ban the user.

I don't think this will really affect many. Might actually encourage new users to read more before posting.

They obviously joined the forum to spam only. We should blacklist their public ip so that they cant sign up ever!

Ikr! These spammers make it a pain in the ass to find actual legitimate content in the RSS feed (as their posts seem to still exist there even after being deleted on the forum). I'm forced to scroll through paragraphs of crap before getting to anything interesting. It's great that they're being deleted quickly though. Good job!

nah mate in the passed i did but what pissed me off is the fact it takes ages to find new updates and new news cause you had to scroll through all the indian crap but thanks to pole everything is glory now
