Everything I know about the bass I owe to Les Claypool. (and Stanley Clarke and Bootsy Collins and Victor Wooten). But MOSTLY because of Primus. Jesus I was so obsessed with them when I was younger.

I'm a huge Rush fan...as is Les. :)

As Sepultura has been mention, here's a band I was lucky enough to see in my youth, in a small club in Nottingham.

Fudge Tunnels Alex Newport joined up with max Calavera to create Nail Bomb.
