Can some one please help every time I play a Fighting style game with 2 players the game will randomly close/minimise and go back to the menu. I figure that it is happening when we are pressing a combination of keys but can't figure out what is cauing it. My keys are as below

I seem to have an issue with certain games in which the bezel is popping up in front of the background, but behind the bezel. I'm not super sure how bezels work as far as files. Does that background need to have the same naming convention? See attachments for a screenshot of what it looks like and then another for the files in that bezel directory.

Hi, I have the system pretty much working but I am having problems with videos. I have videos working for about 99% off all mame games. I do however have other systems where I just cant play the flv file at all. All I get is a green screen and part of the screen has pixels. I have tried the videos in FLV pplayer and they work fine. I am using windows 8 64bit with a Intel Core I3 processor.

Newbie Here... I'm trying to follow the tutorial from Simply Austin on setting up HyperSpin but with the new RocketLauncher it's not working as it should following his videos. When I click on the RocketLauncherUI it says not a valid WIndows 32 application. Are there any archieve sites that would still have the older HyperLaunch version? I'm just looking to set up a simple Hyperspin set up and get playing. LOL

Newbie here...trying to download HyperSpin 1.3.3 Full Install 1.3.3...it goes into the 60sec countdown mode and then gives a page stating: No data received ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE

Thought of a useful idea and thought somebody here could probably make it happen. So if you have your cab un-attended and hyperspin running....it would be cool if there was some sort of screen saver option maybe in HQ that after a certain amount of time would randomly launch (full-screen) game videos from the media folder or folder of your choosing. I know there is already the wheel spinning feature but I thought this would be cool. Like when you are at an arcade and nobody is playing the game the arcade plays its intro. We all already have tons of video clips in the media folder so thought this would be a cool feature for a future build.

the retro arch emu graphics quality is shocking on my system No matter what I'm playing really blocky and un sharp Also finding that's on each different confiq the video resolution has a mind of its owns sometimes fits perfectly in bezel and then sometimes it's like when windowed Anyone else get this ??

Hi Guys, It has been some time since I finished my cabinet... I am hoping to make the output more authentic. I have a C2D (3Ghz) PC, with about 6Gb of RAM. CRT = Sony G520 Onboard Motherboard GFX = Intel G33/G31 Running at 1024x768 so that Hyperspin looks fairly good. Mame 0.137 Win7 x64 I have a few questions, I have searched the web for hours... and found a lot of conflicting advise. I think this is because of changes to the scene over the last few years. 1) Should I get a ArcadeVGA or a hacked ATI card to go with the SonyG520? 2) Should I update the version of MAME and try and use the HLSL settings? Does anyone have easy access to the version release history that they could post? Hyperspin is currently at 1.4 Beta. Was it 1.3.2 before that? Also current version of HL is Rocketlauncher, but what was the last Hyperlaunch version number before the changeover? Just trying to work out how far out of date my system is as I have got my system set up how I want it and hesitant to start messing around with the core components in case of breakage. Out of interest, what HS/HL/RL versions is everyone using?

Sounds dumb but my shooter up xml shows the game edf earth defense force. I have added it to my favorites and when I look at all games, I don't see it displayed. When I go to hyperhq, I see tht I have all wheels checked and use parent video for clones. When I look at the xml I see it's not a clone so why is all games not displaying edf when it's clearly in the all games xml? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hello, i have a question/request... ahem, I collect the start ups of many consoles in HD format, is there a way that Hyperspin can play one at random when you start up Hyperspin, so one day it will play the Sega Dreamcast start up, then a few hours later when i start it up again the Nintendo Gameboy Advance start up, then a few days later the Sony Playstation or the Atari Jaguar or panasonic 3DO or Amiga 32, etc, etc....? I really like the idea of Hyperspins startup being the default start up of the consoles it supports. Please get back to me with any response as to how you feel about this idea or whether or not Hyperspin currently supports this ability and if it does …

Is there a program/script that will scan my ROM folder that will then in turn only allow Hyperspin to display what's in my ROM folder? Don's list generator doesn't do that, and I don't want to add all of my 100+ ROMS item by item. Any help is greatly appreciated, especially if you've ever used HyperRom2XML!
