Hi, I have problems setting up my Aimtrak light guns in MAME. They both work fine in Windows (just like a mouse). But I get no reaction from the guns in MAME. My mouse (or trackball) works fine in the light gun games however. Anyone with any ideas? Thanks!

I set it up and I can run it from MESSUI, plus I can run it from the command line if I'm inside the MESS directory. For some reason I can't run it from outside the MESS directory which means it won't run from Hyperspin. See below, why does this happen? my goal is to mapped all emulators to one controller it's usb network joystick which looks like ps2clone its from China got it off eBay I like to use it to play retro Atari in all my keyboard doesn't support F2 on it for starting Atari any easy way around it and what's better program to use to achieve this goal? thank you in advanced

Magic engine cant find the .rar extension. How do I add it? Ive been trying to launch a bunch of games Ive added to hyperspin but it cant find the game with the rar extension. All the other games in the turbo cd folder have the zip extension. Any help would be great. Thanks Chris

Hello, I installed everything just about perfect, updated with git, etc.. When I place an emu in the emulator folder and go to the settings folder to set up the paths, etc.. then try it but no luck :/ Any help appreciated, Thomas

Most sets in hyperspin are very clean. 1 of each game, adding a few regional issues so we don't miss anything unique. And the numbers for those systems are pretty good: NES-791, SNES-787, GBA-1129, even PS1 only has 1713. But Mame has a whopping 9069! This creates a very messy wheel with multiple versions of games. How are people handling this? I think the 2 most common options are: 1- delete the theme for unwanted games and tick "show only games with theme" in HQ (I don't like this method... won't hypersync just replace these when syncing?) 2- delete the rom and tick "rom only" in HQ (Better, but still lots of manual work. I'm sure this is probably an easy fix. I can get th roms to load fin in RocketLauncher, however when I select MAME from Hyperspin it doesn't populate anything. I have the rom path set up in HyperHQ for the Mame wheel. Do I need to set something as the executable?

Hi guys, Having a small issue trying to figure out why when I run my Ms. Pac-man.rpk within HS doesn't show on the TI menu to run the game all I get is run the ti-basic but if I run it in MESS outside HS it shows 1 ti-basic and 2 ms.pac-man but for the life of me can't figure why it doesn't show up if I run it within RL. Any ideas?

Hi seen Arcade Classics around with wheels for Atari Classics,Capcom Classics so on are these all mame am i right in thinking i get a XML then point roms to mame and default emulator mame if thats right whats best way to sort artwork and videos is it to manually copy them from mame folder. Also was looking at wii ware today can u play them with gamecube controller and it it normal Dolphin emulator.

I made a Japanese saturn system in Hyperlaunch Hq, to compliment my normal saturn folder. And everything looked ok at first. The files began to unzip with daemon tools, but then it wouldnt load. I then transferred over the game to my normal saturn folder and launched it there from hyperspin. And it loaded fine. So I compared the two systems and I noticed the ssf emulator module wasnt loaded for my japanese saturn system. How do I go about getting it to recognize the module since I cant seem to do it manually? Thanks Chris

Hi Guys, I am fairly new to Hyperspin and have been following the tutorials by Giga Guide on youtube, I had successfully set up Mame, Naomi and Atomiswave with all the roms launching perfectly, I have more recently been working on the pc games section, which is going great, but the problem is that now the Mame Roms have stopped launching in Hyperspin and i am getting the MAMe ahk error, I think this may be something to do with me updating HyperlaunchHQ, i had to to do this to make the window capture option available for my pc games, I have tried going back through Giga Guides tutorial but it seem s like everything is set up ok, the emulator launches when i launch it …

OK I usually figure things out right as I post here, so gonna give that a try. I have been trying for a few hours now to get Atari 800 emulation to work with MESS If I run the command from the hyperlaunch log I get co12399b.rom NOT FOUND (tried in a800 a800) errors If I launch it from messui it works just fine. I have tried several versions of mess, several copies of the a800.zip file etc.... Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help...

Gday all I am having a problem with hyperlaunch and ZSnesw I can run a rom just fine with ZSnesw outside of hyperlaunch. I have set my resolution in Zsnesw to 640x480. If I run it with hyperlaunch I get a black screen. After that if I open ZSnes outside of hyperlaunch I get a black screen again. Looking at the zsnes.cfg for ZSnes i see the resolution has changed to 1024x768. (I cant run res over 800x600 on my arcade monitor), whch explains the black screen If I change the res back to 640x480 in the config file i can open and run a rom in zsnesw again, but a soon I run it in hyperlaunch or hyperlaunchHQ it changes the resolution again. Hey guys, Trying to set up my Jaguar wheel. Everything's launching fine, but I'm playing on a 1920 1080 HDTV and when I launch Project Tempest it launches in 480 in fullscreen. Can't find any way to change the resolution to 1080 when poking around in the emulator's options or in HyperLaunch. Is there a way to change it or should I be using another emulator? If so could someone please recommend a suitable one? Thanks!

Hello i am currently setting up my Platsation in hyperspin and when i try to launch a psx rom with hyperlaunch it just gets stuck on a black screen with analog off in the top right corner, but when i use epsxe all by itself it runs just fine can i get some help thank you.

I don't know what the hell is going on but Soul Blade v1.1 boots properly but no matter how many times I press start or any other button on the joypad/keyboard the game doesn't start, it just carries on playing the intro etc. Its not the controls, because the start button works on every other game I have played. Its not the ISO because if I load up in normal mednafen you can start the game. Can someone else confirm with their retro arch set up that it is something wrong with the emulator core and I'm not going insane?
