Hi guys! New user to HypeSpin, and so far I'm loving it! After many hours, I've managed to get my NES ROMS & emulator to working as intended, but have run into an issue with my Super Nintendo emulators/ROMs. I've been hunting high & low on these forums & have seen issues regarding a bug with the having speakers unplugged, but that doesn't seem to be my issue. I've checked over my settings in HyperLaunchHQ & HyperHQ, and everything to me seems to be setup correctly. I've checked both zSnes & Snes9x, and they both work outside of HyperSpin. I've also made sure I am using the correct module, with the correct version of each emulator. I know it's prob…

My new build (trying to make it pretty compact, so basically after the machine and Hyperspin are started the keyboard/mouse can go away) only has a USB joystick available. Everything seems to be a go at this point... The question I have come to (without wrecking everything I have just done by screwing with the settings), is do I need to have xpadder and the Ghutch startup script? Will the startup script allow me utilize my USB joystick for controlling hyperspin and then when I start a game control MAME, or do I need xpadder installed with Ghutch code to allow me to do that? If both, I would get the xpadder up and running and then the script? If I need both, wher…

It's been a few years since I had my machine up and running (not much me time with a new little one running rampant). But I decided a couple of months ago to go with a new build with updated software (so this is a new machine totally new build - not trying to just update the old one). Never had this issue before but I recently copied everything over to a new hard drive. When I'm in Hyperspin, I can select a game and launch it just fine. The screen goes black for 2 seconds and then goes back to the hyperspin menu. Oddly enough the emulator did launch because I can do an Alt-Tab to select it. Once I bring the emulator back to the front, I get a black screen for 2 seconds and then the game starts and plays just fine. Hitting escape brings me back to hyperspin just like it's supposed to. This only seems to happen with two emulators, BlueMSX for Colecovision and Nestopia for NES. Seems like a timing issue but I'm not sure what or where, any ideas?

Hi everyone. I am trying to set it up so that I can launch Steam games by creating a wheel entry for the game and then having hyperlaunch launch a shortcut to the game. I am able to launch the game, but the audio from the game's preview video in Hyperspin is playing over the game audio. How can I stop this from happening?

Good morning beautiful people. Im so close to finishing my Hperspin setup I can taste it so a big thank you to the helpfule community. I'm just having one more issue lol and was hoping for some suggestions. 1) Im using the X-Arcade stick on my cabinet as the controls and have it setup to controll Hyperspin with no problem. But....when I plug in an extra controller to play say either Playstation gamecube etc (I have a ps controller a gamecube one and a wii controller) an error comes up in my Hperspin saying to setup xpadder and then I can't control the wheel with the X-Arcade stick. My question is do I have to setup an xpadder for each controller in order to use the e…

Hi guys, my setup has been flawless for about 2 years when I fired up Mame and none of my xbox 360 gamepads are working ( They work in the Hyperspin Menus as well as all the other Emulators ) I closed out Hyperspin and started MAME up on its own and all my controllers work fine, Custom cfg for them is being used. Reload Hyperspin and same problem, I hit Tab on my keyboard and I can configure each game for the controllers and it will save the settings. This is very problematic due to how many games I have and some of the custom configurations aren't saving propely. What could cause Hyperspin to not load my MAME controller config properly when it loads fine outside of Hyper…

if this is in the wrong forum i truly am sorry. i have built my hyper spin arcade machine back in 08' and i would love to upgrade some games, wheel art, etc etc mostly for MAME. I have tried to add crime fighters to my gamelist, hyper wheel, etc etc. but when i tried to add it to the proper folders MAME crashes every time i try to load MAME from my artwheel. Can someone please help me with a refresher on this. i would love to upgrade my unit! please and thank you! i have downloaded everything i need for each game i want to add, just can't remember how to add anything without crashing my unit. Howdy all, I have almost got all my emulators working and videos/pics loaded now for Hyperspin and I am so pleased with the fast and helpful response from the forum members I just have two questions if I may: 1) I know this may be an xppadder issue but when I run xpadder with my X-Arcade tank stick it doesn't recognise it. No matter how many times I disconnect and reconnect it doesn't show up. It shows up in my device list so it is connected because I can play MAME games on it fine. Hi guys, I've been doing a fresh install of hyperspin on a dedicated console system and have been getting no end of trouble with getting my controllers to work. Im using 2 x DS4 controllers with Inputmapper and Xpadder. I'm only focused on HS for now although I've loaded zSNESw for testing purposes and getting a similar issue in there (although I haven't test that thoroughly). I originally tried ghutch's Hyperspin Startup Script but I had a glitch where the dpads wouldn't kick in for 20 seconds. I couldn't work through that so now I'm still using the script but instead using xpadder to map the keys (Joysticks_Enabled=False in the script). This works great for p1, but I …

Well Lads, I haven't asked a question in a while so a real basic one is coming up cos I cant figure it out. I am setting up the above systems in a separate wheel, downloaded the folder on the FTP, my questions are: 1) I have the wheel image *.png, where does this go? I thought it was in the Hyperspin\HyperLaunch\Media\Wheels but it eant loading for me 2) Where can I get the artwork \ intro video for this system? Any help would be most grateful

So im building a dedicated Donkey kong cabinet, i have setup a dedicated donkey kong wheel for that purpose, but i would like to add the option to have a more games wheel whithin the donkey kong wheel, i just cant figure out how to add the mame wheel shorcut to the donkey kong wheel . Hi, I've hunted for this answer, and I cannot find it anywhere. I built a mame arcade cabinet, using an old PC and a small monitor that I had laying around. When I open a game (Kung fu Master as an example), the process displays a message "Loading artwork", and the game is then displayed with a bezel around it. The actual game is displayed very small in the middle of the screen. How do I disable this "loading artwork", so that it shows the game in all it's glory, instead of a mi miniature game with graphics around it. Any help will be appreciated.

Hi everyone i'm new to this..been reading up a lot on the forum. I ran into a little bit of a snag. I can't seem to launch any games from Hyperspin. I believe the reason is hyperspin is launching the old hyperlauncher not the new one .V3 that I installed in its own folder. I did edit the path in the settings folder but maybe I missed something. I'm having a slight problem with the Pinball FX2 module. When I launch Pinball FX2 from Hyperspin, the multiplayer menu pops up, but I can't select the number of players from my control panel. The joystick moves the selection up/down, but I need a separate keyboard to press 'enter'. I don't have any buttons mapped to 'enter' on my control panel so how would I change this to, for example, key #1 (P1 start) to select the number of players? I tried keymapper, but it didn't work. I never used keymapper before so perhaps I did something wrong. I did a quick search here and on google but didn't find a tutorial. I think I created a key map for all predefined keys in FX2 …

I can't seem to get sega model 2 emulator nebula working no matter what I do.... when I click on the game through hyperspin a little black box pops up for a split second and disapears and it stays in hyperspin as if nothing happened Is there a better emulator for model 2 or any suggestions
