Im trying to find out how to change the enter and exit keys going in and out of wheels. Ive configured my controllers all to an x arcade setup and id like to change the keys to buttons 1 and 2 on my controllers. Right now the buttons I want to use are set up as left shift (Enter) and Left control (Exit). They are currently set to Q for exit and E for enter. Thanks Chris

I am struggling with Nintendo GameCube on Hyperspin, I have Dolphin.ahk mod version 2.0.6 Emul.Ver v4.0 r4875 by djvj the emu runs fine within HLHQ but once i try to use it in hyperspin i get the error message "Nintendo GameCube is an invalid system" I have used module updater, i have pulled latest updates via GiT, not sure what to try next. I grabbed the Gamecube central folder from the gigapig's folder on the FTP but the AHK in there is named Gamecube.AHK and i had no luck trying to use that. I read somewhere that they had created this error to avoid copyright issues but i see other people have it Gamecube/Dolphin running. I'm pretty new to Hyperspin but learning…

I am having trouble adding a new game to PCLauncher I currently have Fix it flex and SFigher IV through demon as the only 2 pc games and I would like to add one more but am struggling Currently I am following these steps: PC Games Modules Highlight PC Launcher Edit Global Settings Button Rom Settings Here I do not have the + or X etc buttons. I have tried maximising the screen, snapping to the left or right with no luck. I have even tried chaning the screen resolution does not help. Any ideas?

Hi All, I finally got my cabinet ready and finalizing it :-) i look everywhere but somehow i cannot get it to work.. The joystick and buttons are working fine in hyperspin... but if i want to load any rom from different systems i get the followin error: Please create a xpaddercontroller profile named either generic USB Joystickor . It also needs to in the same folder as xpadder.exe Thanks guys, hope you can help me out... stuggeling all day with this already

Hi All, When running through the Hyperspin front end, I'm seeing Supermodel emulator games play at a slower speed than outside of the frontend. Not talking choppy but definitely a reduced speed of action. Sound is matched to the slower action but at the normal pitch. When I'm in HyperlaunchHQ and launch the emulator, it runs at the normal speed so there must be something going on when the front end is actually running in the background. I have the Supermodel module set up to defaults. Tried messing with "frequency" up to 50 but not seeing a change in game speed. Anyone have advice?

Hello! I have finally managed to put together an excellent hyperspin and gaming experience using the startup script and a couple of wireless xbox controllers! I have however ran into a small hiccup! While playing The Simpsons Arcade.. both players mashed buttons during the mini game which ended up prompting an error about hyperspin/hyperlaunch recieving too many inputs at once and if we wanted to continue? This forced me to use the mouse and then alt tab back into mame. I have tried looking around for a way to fix or remove this notification. Any help would be appreciated! Dakota

Hi everybody! First post, together with a bucket of thanks for all the community BTW, I'm a total noob so please bear with me, I fear it might be a very naive post... As said in the title, I stumbled into the infamous "ahk_class MAME" error. I'm aware several posts have already been opened, I read them all but it seems I cannot find the solution I need. To sum up: I'm building up my cabinet and I've installed the latest Hyperspin release and Mame (for now). I'm pretty sure all roms are compatible with Mame (last release), and they work fine if launched outside of Hyperspin. I have had hyperspin for a few days now and I am starting to get used to it. I just wanted to know how to use themes for individual game. On MAME I have a pacman theme but I don't know how to actually use it for when I hover over pacman. Thanks!

I've searched the forums for any kind of setup guide for adding XBMC (Kodi) to Hyperspin. As a matter of fact, most of the guides are about doing just the opposite, adding Hyperspin to XBMC. Where do I begin? What does the XML file look like? What do I point the roms folder to? Do I use PC Launcher? Does it launch through the .exe or a custom .bat file? Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi, I have been trying to figure this one out on my own, but throwing in the towel. I am currently running Hyperspin 1.3. I can control the hyperspin wheel, make selections, and leave the menu wheel on every system installed but on Mame. As soon as I enter the Mame submenu I lose all controls, and have to lose focus of hyperspin - then go back to focus in order to regain control. At which point, I lose control all over again if I navigate to any other game selection in the Mame menu. If I leave the Mame menu, all is right with the world. I have tried disabling Mame themes, Mame Videos, LEDBlinky - and even disconnected my control panel and tested with an ordinary k…

Hi guys, I'm having problems with my control panel configuration. I'm using arcade joysticks and buttons and also a Xin-Mo Dual Arcade interface. All works fine in Windows. Here is my HyperHQ configuration: The problem is once I'm on HyperSpin, when I move up and down using the joystick the wheel goes crazy, spinning in a endless mode... Till I press the cursors or any other key in the keyboard to stop the crazyness. Exiting using the combination of buttons 7 & doesn't work either. Only buttons 1 to 6 work as they should. Joystick and buttons work perfect when playing games in emulators. I have the last HS version.

Hello, I'm finishing my hyperspin setup and I'm trying to donate to become plat member. When I click the paypal button in order page, I'm sent to a broken page. Please let me know how can I become a plat member of this site. Thanks alot. EDIT: I just tryed to order a gold member and it works. I think its just the platinum link who is broken. I was wondering if there was an option for delaying the emulator from loading giving my bezel more time to open. My emulator (Retroarch) opens off center first waiting for the bezel to load. When the bezel loads, then it centers the screen where it should be. Having the bezel open up first would just look better. Thanks

Hi Everyone!! I bought Hyperspin packs, some of the emulators works fine (like MAME); but I try to run Dreamcast.... and it´s doesn´t work. I find de emulator (Demul), roms folder.... but I need some help, step by step to make it run..... Can Anyone give me some help or advice??? Thanks!!!

Hi guys, I'm a very new Hyperspin/launch user, started about a week ago. I really love making my setup, tons of fun. But it's not really fun if everything work immediatly right ? Here's my problem : I managed to install Hyperspin/launch and ~20 systems with the help of various tuto, great. Managed to configure all my xpadder profiles, fantastic. Now, when testing in Hyperspin, everything is loading correctly, games and xpadder profiles but when I exit an emulator, Hyperspin is minimized and I have to Alt+tab to regain the focus. Exiting an emulator without Xpadder enabled works just fine. This guy had a similar issue and couldn't find a answer. What can I do ? I'm u…

The HiToText works on command line, but it doesn't display the highscore when viewing the game in HyperSpin. In HyperHQ, the wheel is configured for normal execution of mame.exe. In Settings\Settings.ini, it is enabled like this: [HiScore] Active=true Y=500 Delay=1 And running on command line works fine, like this: D:\hyperspin>HiToText.exe -r \hyperspin\emulators\mame\hi\popeye.hi RANK|SCORE|NAME 1|32600|GET 2|29700|TJI 3|24150|HAM 4|23500|S*F 5|21150|YOK I've looked in log.txt, hoping to see it running a command line for HiToText.exe, but there's nothing in there about it. Is there a way to turn up logging? What could I be missing to get it working?

Hi Guys, I'm building a 2 player bartop with 4/8 way joysticks, 6 buttons per play, plus dedicated P1/P2 Coin/Star buttons. I'm about to start mapping controls, but I'm struggling with older systems like Atari and the computer based systems. Is there a guide for how people typically map the controls/inputs required per system? MESS input names aren't always easy to understand and I'm trying to figure out what inputs I need per system. Any guides/links would be monumentally appreciated! Owen

I must say there are things I love and hate about Retroarch. My biggest frustration with Retroarch is the use of shaders with all emu's. You literally have to go through each one and see which one works best or if it works at all. Example is the Mupen64plus core: I for the life of me can get this thing to run in full screen. I've used rice and glide64 with no luck. Does anybody have a shader combo or a specific config they are using to run full screen? Thanks in advance
