Just wondering how a fix for the latest version of Windows 10 (2004) is coming along... There's no going back to a previous version for me (and I'm sure that's the case for others as well) so here we are stuck with broken HyperSpin setups until a fix or workaround or SOMETHING becomes available for the latest version of Windows. Really sucks too because I was just getting back into it again since the last time Windows broke it in 2018. I know it's not your guys's fault (it's Windows) but we're going on over a month now (in quarantine mind you) with nothing to do but hope that a fix is right around the corner. I’m using windows 7 and when I plug the usb from my aimtrak gun and start hyperspin it goes crazy causing the hyperspin wheel to keep spinning not allowing me to pick any game console until I disconnect it. Can someone help me with this problem I would greatly appreciate it

Probably some will think I'm nuts for wanting MESS for some consoles..... But the way I look at, it's a lot key mapping after setup... I've built my own machine before using MAME, Daphne, MESS, and a few other emulators but that was 14 years ago.... Time for an update! (past time really). However. I'm having a heck of time getting 2600, 5200, 7800 to run on any type of frontend. Games are working in MESS, both mess64 and messui64, V221 However, I've tried Hyperspin, LaunchBox, Maxius Arcade, and a few others, and NOTHING will launch MESS and Atari. I bought a custom arcade a few years back, as I’m not technical nor do I have any carpentry skills. Someone here posted a pair of custom playlists - one for 3-player, the other for 4-player games. I have the xml’s, but I don’t know how to get them on my main wheel. Can someone either help me out or point me to a video? The tutorials I’m finding seem to be for creating custom playlists through HyperXMLspin, but I don’t want to use that for this instance. Thanks very much Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

For fix go here´: Compelte Fresh install, all DirectX, VCRedist, DirecX and so on installed. Task ist launched (as seen in Taskmanager) but not picture is shown or audio. Same is with HyperHQ. Same Hyperspifiles work on older W10 Build.

Hey guys, Quick question, any secret sauce to launch Epic Store games via Hyperspin? First time I needed to do this with the release of Samurai Showdown. Launching the exe starts loading the game, but then its unable to connect. Tried launching the shortcut, but doesn't seem Hyperspin likes that with these type of weird url shortcuts Epic creates. Any other solution than waiting for a pirated version for a game I purchased??? Starting to hate this Epic Store even more...

So i made a new mame theme for my Arcade cabinet and was wondering in Hyper HQ how to disable the game info in the bottom corner? I attached a picture to show you. I am happy with my theme except that info that is covering some of my theme. I want to disable it and any help would be great.

Hi.. for a few days hyperspin from this problem, I don't understand what may have happened ... continuing the running of the script the games load normally, every time I change the game the error reappears and this for every type of emulator. i tried to erase everything and reinstall both hyperspin and rocketlancher but the problem reoccurs. do you have any solution? thank you all

i want to dissable gamepads in specific games.. for instance cuphead.. cuphead detects my arcade stick as a game pad. and because i also use joytokey It also decided that fire = player 2 join. if possible i want to select which controller it does not detect, because "again" cuphead for some reason does not allow two player keyboard play. So i want player 1 to be keyboard and player 2 game pad. i am using cuphead as an example, but there are many other games that have similar issues that i can easily fix if i can just disable detection of specified game pads. I had a look at dxwnd but it does not seem to work as intended. i am 99.99999% finished with my hyper…

I am reletively new. I have donated and have platinum status. I am very frustrated. The HS website is down frequently. The HyperList has been down for quite some time. I have played around with Launchbox/Bigbox because of my frustrations. There seems to be much more information/tutorials out there for that FE than for Hyperspin. I really like hyperspin! But I am wondering why I paid for platinum membership when I cannot seem to get regular access to things on the website, or clear tutorials to do the things I want to do within Hyperspin. I am asking the community for a little guidance here on getting the most out of Hyperspin. Thanks! Teb

Hi everyone. I finally got around to upgrading my arcade and bought a better PC. I want to install Hyperspin. I couldn't before because of the poor specs on the old pc. But when I want to download, it says I am not permitted to download the file?? How can I download the file? I really want to start. Thanks in advance!

Hi, I was wondering if there is anyone around Sydney, Australia that could configure my Hyperspin. I have tried multiple times and nothing works. I have the emulators and the games. It just wont allow me to launch the emulators through Hyperspin. I'm willing to pay for the service.

I have been playing around with HyperXMLspin and for some reason I am missing something. Under update tab I check Medias and get None list found. As well, if I type a name in the search, it finds the number of games but then errors out with cant find audio, then video, then playlist. HyperHQ I have setup correctly Execution:Normal Executable: C:\HyperSpin\HyperXMLspin.exe Navigation:Use XML indexes Any ideas? I know this is a simple program to setup but somehow I am missing something with the new version maybe?

Tengo windows 10 con todo actualizado y el hyperspin 1.5.1 que se supone que debe de iniciar bien en windows 10, pero al intentar abrirlo no muestra nada de imagen, pero en el administrador de tareas aparece que inició y que está abierto, esto mismo sucede al intentar abrir el HyperHQ, como lo soluciono?

Hey guys I've got my nvidia shield set up dialed in and works awesome! My question to anyone is I've side loaded retro arch on my 4k stick and use a 1 tb harddrive to acess games the new 4k sticks run just about every game even on ps1! I can side load hyperspin as well is there anyway to configure it to run on a 4k stick? I know in the past no but wondering with the new chipsets being much more powerful if there is a way! I run Windows 10 and boot directly into HyperSpin 1.5.1 via Instant Sheller. HyperSpin usually boots fine. However, 10% of the time, my computer boots, displays the desktop, and never shows the frontend. Whenever this problem happens, a HyperSpin process is running in Task Manager but I can't alt-tab into it. Also, HyperSpin doesn't write to log.txt. Has anyone run into similar issues?

hello.After days and days of watching tutorials and reading your forums iv finaly got hyperspin working on my laptop.Iv learned how to change my intro video, add video content and how to add my wheel art and update box art ext.Iv also updated my database.xml file in rocket launcher ui and all my roms are green as matched.Iv got the mega drive, master system ,64,nes and snes working on pc fine. It looks fantastic at the moment and just need to learn a few more things like adding a theam,controllers or bezzles but im sure i could find a tutorial on them issus. I cannot seem to find how to exit a system's wheel, back to the main menu wheel, or leave favorites back to the wheels. Is there a setting in HyperHQ or something I am missing in a setup file? Currently I have to force exit HS and reload.

hi im just wondering if anyone else is having this happen as it has been problematic for about 2 weeks now,the website sometimes opens up and i sign in then 30 mins later its gone again and in that time its very slow and a lot of links for downloads do not work.Any news on this is appreciated or if its just me then i obviously have some problem but other websites are fine that i visit.
