Hi Everyone, I'm coming to the end of my project and began configuring my PC games for my iPac2 and ran into a bit of a problem. Street Fighter V's control configuration is awful on PC. I've spent 20+ hours trying to get this working using different techniques and cannot. Here's what I've tried... (in all cases joysticks show up fine in x360ce and windows joystick settings where applicable) Using an I-Pac & Vjoy - Result: Directional keys do not work and cannot be mapped. Buttons are fine. Hello,I have got back to hyperspin since it's cold out and got my joy2key working..somewhat.i have unchecked hq joystick and my profile seems to work for hyperspin but first I have to left click mouse to get it to release control to my joystick and buttons.i only have 2 for profile,button 3 to start and button 9 for escape after that my mame controls joystick in game.seems easier for me less confusion for buttons mapped for genre and so on.any how when it starts up during intro video I can't cancel by moving joystick or buttons on cab until I hit the mouse or keyboard.then sometimes when I hit button to enter mame wheel it goes full screen(I think it's set up to full in m…

I have hyperspin working great, with the exception that I cannot get the video snaps to work for my Model 3, and Atomiswave. I have the paths set to hyperspin/media/EMULATOR/video on all. (working and not) I am using mp4s in all. The Mp4's are working outside of hyperspin. I've taken the mp4's that are NOT working in hyperspin, renamed them to names of games in MAME (which the video snaps work fine), and the mp4 will play fine. I've also done the opposite, taking a mame video snap and rename it to a model 3 game, and it won't pull anything up for the Model 3 (just black screen). hi guys i am trying to set model 3 emulator up . it runs fine out of hyperspin and in rocket launcher . but i get this when i try to run it in hyperspin. the same happens for any of the arcade classics (atari classics etc) i got round the arcade classics by making a folder in the moduals called atari classics and copyed and renamed the mame modual to atari classics and it worked, but i dont think this is right. thanks guys

I haven’t had the time to troubleshoot my system but noticed something strange the other day... a few systems aren’t launching in hyperspin but when I go directly into RL I can verify the locations are correct and the games show up and launch fine from RL. In rocket launcher my systems are setup on drive L: and work 100% perfect.. when I try to launch from hyperspin.. it appears that it attempts to find the games on drive K: Going to look into hyperHQ Later on but it just seems strange that the systems would launch from the correct drive in RL but in hyperspin they’re looking in the wrong drive.

Hey Y'all, need some help here. I'm using a vertical arcade setup and have only been able to find HyperV to use as a frontend. It works fine for arcade, but the orientation doesn't with pinball because it needs to be in portrait mode to work, but HyperV only shows up correctly in Landscape. I've tried to open HyperTheme and load the menu to flip it, but I can't even figure out how to open all the menu's/etc. Along with that, even playing around in HyperTheme I don't see how to change orientation. Hi Guys New to the forum. Setting up my MAME cabinet and having some issues with Hyperspin. Hyperspin starts up fine and loads the emulator wheel just as it should. When I select an emulator it just reloads the emulator wheel again. Does not matter which emulator I choose. I have had this system working before, had it stored away for a couple of years because of a move. So I know it worked before, just wondering what could be causing this. Log file is attached. Ive got hyperspin and rocketlauncher but. When i try to play a game i get an error no rom found with any given extension , i thought that i had entered quite a few extensions , by the way its n64 im trying to emulate . I wonder where i am going wrong could someone please tell me where all the file extensions for project64 need to go , ie settings , global settings , nintendo 64 . I thought i had these covered but apparantly not ??

Is there a good tool in existence that you can edit an xml list to include items like release year, dev, publisher, genre, etc? I am working on Future Pinball at the moment and i am able to create an XML list for the games easily, but I believe i will need to manually edit the file to include years and genre's and looking for a quick/easy way to do this as opposed to editing the RAW code.

I use MAME core in retroarch as my main core but some of my games don't work with it and will require Final Burn Alpha core for them to work. How do I set some games to start with FBA core instead?

Hi, HS has not been updated for a long time. I do not ask for major changes since whoever wants a different frontend already has other options to choose from. But there is an issue from the beginning that has supposed a great dilemma, because many themes only exist in 4:3 version, but nevertheless, most users have 16:9 monitors. For this reason, I request a small modification to the code that allows to maintain the aspet ratio of the 4:3 themes when HS shows in full screen. I've watched a number of the tutorial videos and I have either missed something or am doing something wrong... I installed DonkeyMe on my PC. I added it to the PC Games.xml database. I added it to the PCLauncher.ahk module in RocketLauncher in both the global module and the system specific module. I can launch the game from RocketLauncher, but the game doesn't show up in the PC Games wheel in hyperspin. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. If it's in one of the tutorial videos and I missed it, if you could point me to that particular video, I'd take that too. Thanks a ton!

ok so im in a bit of a pickle... dons rename tool only recognizes 70 of my 1400 ps1 games. i thought id create a new xml list with my rom names. though now my media (images and videos) arent matching my xml names now and i cant rename them either! is there any trick to getting my roms renamed? heres a text list of my roms. its a bit of a mixed batch. i just dont understand why Dons tool doesnt have a simple feature where it could 'match all with the best possible answer.' because '2xtreme-ntsc-u-scus-94508-' is obviously '2Xtreme (USA)' in my XML!! in my head its so simple but maybe im missing something. ive got the standard ps1 xml in…

Hi Guys. I just recently started configuring HyperSpin. I've made some themes which I'm pretty satisfied with and people seem to think so too. (Crash remastered trilogy, Spyro reignited and ducktales remastered) I've made themes for some of my PC games, but now I want them to go in the appropiate "PC games" wheel. I don't know where to start doing this. I've searched far and wide and nothing has really helped me so far. To be clear, the way i want this to look is this: Wheel: PC games -> Game A, Game B etc. Hope this makes sense and I've put this post the right place.

Hi, Am very new to all this and hope someone can please help!? I have just gotten a fully set up 8tb drive with Hyperspin, Rocket Launcher all installed and ready to go. It works fine but, although I have managed to get the MAME games to work with HLSL and they look great, try as I might, the Neo Geo MVS collection although the wheel and the games run, in spite of them using the same MAME emulator and I have used the same .ini file and the same path for both, under the Global Settings tab for MAME too. Funny thing is, I initially thought I was doing this for MVS but I was changing the .ini file for Neo Geo Classics and that worked!!! Any help on where I am …

Trying to understand the XMLs more. I have several different arcade cabinets running MAME; each with different controllers and button configurations. I am trying to create an updated 214 setup for each system based on players and buttons as well as genre. I have a mamelist.xml that has all of the data in it for the number of players, buttons, etc. When I use a tool like Don's Hyperspin Tools Fitler Hyperlist it isn't showing anything in the buttons column. I have the source xml pointing to the mame.xml in the hyperspin database folder and the mamelist.xml pointing to the one generate by MAME (verified to have all the data). Any ideas? Im having trouble getting hyperspin to launch when windows start. at first i tried just putting it in shell:startup and shell:common startup. neither of these worked. then i tried going the shell launcher route and setting HyperSpin.exe as the shell. still nothing. the thing is, hyperspin launches manually no problem at all. it is on D:\ drive, which is an external USB drive. which may have something to do with it. but ive made sure drive is set as non removable and indexing enabled etc. and i dont think this is a hyperspin issue but more a windows issue. just wondering if anyone else had this issue, ive tried some searches but nothing comes up. Hey I have just added Darius Burst to teknoparrot and configured to run thru hyperspin, no bezels are setup for Teknoparrot as games generally run fullscreen . Dariusburst runs in a weird widescreen window and i have the png file for a bezel. I have messed with bezel settings thru RL but have not managed to find a place that sets the bezel per game can anyone help?

So i got my wireless xbox360 controllers working in retroarch and a couple other emulators. I want a controller to be able to navigate hyperspin with. I followed a guide and installed joytokey, setup a default,hyperspin,and rocketlauncher profile under global/keymapper in rocketlauncher. Set joytokey to launch with hyperspin and it is working now to control the hyperspin menu but as soon as i select a game i get a loop of the same error message saying keymapper is set to joytokey but joytokey.ini is missing or joytokey is not up to date.
