Im using Jeepguy81s vertical cocktail themes. How do I get rid of the "Press Start" on both sides of the screen? Also, is there any way to display the date and manufacturer of the selected game in it's place?

I am new to HyperSpin and have just started to gather information before trying to setup the software. I would like to use both the xarcade tank stick for basic navigation and Mame games. I would also like to use adifferent usb controller for each system eg nes usb controller for NES . A different one for SNEs, N64, Sega Will hyperspin support this

I have been having zero luck getting HS to work with my Xbox1 controller. I'm using the startup script, with no luck. I was wondering if I'm missing something else that needs to be setup in order for the controller to work in controlling HS. I'm able to use the controller successfully in numerous emulators that I launch using the keyboard through HS.

Need some help getting Yabause running through Retroarch. I've tried using SSF and had so many problems with it that I gave up and switched over to Yabause. I've got it working great for the most part. My USA set loads great but not my Japan set. After doing some investigation I've noticed that unlike my US set, all the Japan games have multiple .bin files. Looking at the Retroarch site it appears that Yabause does not support games that use multiple .bin files. So, I'm in a real bind here. I tried going to archive.org and unfortunately their entire Japan set is just like mine, multiple .bin files. So, my two questions are, what set would you all recommend looking for wit…

I setup a small hyperspin machine using the tutorials here and have wheels setup for Mame, NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, Sega Master, and Daphne. All of the above are fully working; wheels, games, snaps, etc....with the exception of the video snaps for Daphne. I am only running 3 Daphne games (Dragons Lair, Dragons Lair 2, and Space Ace). They are labeled "lair, lair2, ace" and are fully playable. In the media folder I have my "lair, lair2, and ace" MP4 files. HyperHQ point to the proper directory for those MP4 snaps, but they will not play. I have the same setup for all the other systems as well as the same directory structure for those snaps. Ive downloaded the default game wheel pack and Placed the image "1941.png" in the same folder that has "88games.png" and it doesnt work??? Heres the location I placed it in.... D:\HyperSpin\Media\MAME\Images\Wheel 88games.png works. But Im assuming it works because it came with the HyperSpin Installation?? Not sure... What am I doin wrong? Thanks

I have a mame xml database file all set up and working great. I'd like to add some Daphne games to it without having to add a main menu to select an emulator. Is it possible to tuck in one or two Daphne games into the mame wheel?

Hello! I have installed HyperSpin today and when I first launched it, there was no problem. However, now that I have added RocketLauncher HyperSpin doesn't actually launch anymore. I followed the tutorials on the HyperSpin YouTube and made sure to follow it. However, now there are two errors that I notice on Hyperspin: 1. it doesn't open *at all*, all I get is a black square on my Desktop and it doesn't open. 2. Hey Guys I had my psx games uncompressed to bin and CUE.. they load almost instantly. I acquired some missing games in 7z and thought I would try them as is.. they load fairly quick with minimal wait time..... My question is how much does 7z save on space? What typically is the loading time difference? Thanks Jim

Hello, I've got a strange problem with my HS setup. I've got a specific MAME wheel (called "MAME SP") with 640*482 videos / 59.94 FPS - around 50 games Codec : H264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) avc1 Audio : MPEG AAC Audio / Stereo / 48000hz Video on this wheel work perfectly. I've got another MAME wheel (called "MAME LIGHT") with 320*226 videos / 29.97FPS - around 400 games Codec : exactly the same as above. On my MAME SP wheel, the video are playing correctly. Hi! I'm a bit new on HS, but as i'm trying to set up my systems, I've found some Lists that have no CRCs (Neo Geo, CPS1, CPS2, Amiga), which make cause Don's Tools Renamer to be unable to work with them and check my roms. How should i go about this systems? Should i rename my roms by hand?

Hello, I figured out how to setup genre however I need a little help. I noticed different systems have different Genres. Is there a link to download all the generic Genre wheels/themes for the genre's? I have been using my mame one, however noticed other systems have different sections. Also when grabbing the XML is there a way to get a system and all genre's in one file? I checked hyperlist click GENRE but I have to download each genre seperate which is a major pain as I want to have genre for all systems... thanks

Ok I am trying to help my friend set up his hyperspin but the wheel will just keep spinning in the hyperspin menu and system wheels. When you start hyperspin it will automatically start and as soon as you hit a direction it will just spin like crazy same in the system menus. He also has lots of things hooked up to his PC. Dolphin bar, 2.4gh little keyboard \w touch pad, xbox 360 receiver and his ipac 4 with 4 player controls and ultimarc trackball. He unplugged his dolphin bar and wiped his PC. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to point Rlaunchers Pause to Hyperspins media folders? The idea being that it halves disc space in the sense all my artwork and videos aren't doubled up and saves time in me not having to go through and copy everything into the rlauncher media file. I'm sure someone must of asked this before, I've done my best to search online and these forums. I found one old thread online which mentioned that this happened automatically in some older version? Hi Guys, Its more of a RL issue rather than Hyperspin but I am really hoping someone can help as I have tried absolutely everything I can think of. No matter what I do I cant get the bezel working for Atari 5200. So far this is what I have done: Using Kat5200 and I edited the module to draw the bezel etc however the screen was always in front of the bezel meaning the top and bottom were cut off. I then went to retroarch and tried using the Atari800 core, the bezel worked fine however theres no way to size the screen correctly without putting retroarch in full screen which I cant do. Hey, So I have mame running well however noticed some games are missing videos. I have run hypersync however there are still videos missing. First off is there another way (besides hypersync app) to download the missing videos? Is there a way to hide games that do not have video previews? I do not want to remove them from the xml as when the video becomes available I would like it to show on the list...... any info. Thanks in advance..

Hey I have seen this issue a few times. I was going threw my mame games all was well.. tried a few.. then returned to mame wheel.. all the wheels disappeared and the video was stuck on a game over and over.. could not spin or exit...

Hey Guys, I have the fade in screen working fine, however on exiting a game and using fade out from game I keep getting an annoying super mario background. I checked Rocketlauncher/Media/fade but do not understand what image I need to change or set?? I just want a black screen on fade back in.. anyone help?

Hey Guys I upgraded from .151 to .189 in mame. have MAME wheel working, however when I click Genre categories I only have "All Games" . How do I set up the genres? I checked in Databases/Mame and I have mame.xml and numerous category ones in the same folder ie) Wrestling Games.xml etc.... I am not understanding why it is not working. Also wondering how to filter out Non working games, majohong, card games etc...

Hey Guys I just download the newest stable version of PCSX2... Ran it outside of RL and HS and it runs great for my computer. I set it up for HS however when I run it through RL or HS it lags badly and is choppy? I am not understanding this, and was hoping someone could help me. Is it a setting in the module or something?
