Hey Guys **SOLVED*** So I was playing my HS setup today and noticed in gamecube, many preview videos of the games flash on and off and show grey verbal lines so the game can not been seen? You can hear it but it goes strange. sometimes flashes in and out? I have seen this issue before… I am currently re downloading the gamecube previews but I am certain I have done that before and it does not work.. anyone else have this issue? It does not do it on every video…..** so I re downloaded them on hyper cloud and they ALL do it now.. wtf? Ok So I have been looking into this more.. and I have intel chipset on board video. Hyperspin was working great until recently. hyperspin frontend is set to default front end. hyperspin boots up fine but it wont boot my games up. all the games i have available boots in rocketlaucher perfectly. normally when games gives me a error it usually pop-up with reason why. its not booting when i hit enter on any the games it does not do anything. any suggestions?

I keep getting this message. I have Version 1.7 installed but I downloaded the patch it recommended in the module notes and I'm still getting this message. HyperSpin loads up the emulator when i click on a game but not a rom. Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

i have a hard time using this app. when i select the system and the specific xml file for it and hit scan it none of my games that i have dont show up. under "game" its says "no" for all the games. in rocketlaucher i audit my game it shows i have all the roms for it and its highlighted in green.

Hey Guys, So I have not been on the forums in some time… this weekend I fired up my HS setup and noticed that Rocketlauncher said I had to update modules. I did not update anything yet.. I am afraid. The last time I did the updates it messed every emulator. Just wondering if I should update? What benefits does it have? It has been at least 6 months +… maybe closer to a year since I updated. Also should I update any emulators? I am concerned about having to reconfigure things again... Thanks Jim

Hi everyone. First time post here. I have been slowly chipping away at a mame cabinet build, and have recently built a mock up control board to test joystick and buttons through an encoder. I have everything set up in HyperHQ and Rocketlauncher, and when I launch I can navigate hyperspin, but when I get to a game and launch it it gives me the error that keymapper is recognized but cannot find the joytokey.ini file. I know there are issues with this being related to the read only unset on the hyperspin folder, but I can't for the life of me unset it. I have tried the attrib -R +S in the CMD menu and everything. So I have been watching the videos of Simply Austin and now I'm stuck and lost. For some reason in He MAME wheel I guess one would call it the ROMs work perfect. But now I setup NEO GEO wheel and I can't start a game. Sucks too I have videos and carts setup looks so nice but wish it would start a game. Is there anything I should check first ? I don't get any errors the screen just sites and plays the demo video. And here is the log file as one can see trying to start games a few times.

Guys i have been doing work for about 6 months on my Hyperspin drive,updating it etc.....I recently built a bartop arcade and placed my Hyperspin Drive into it......HS runs fine but when i play any game it seems locked to 30 FPS in all games? The PC is fine as it runs Mortal Kombat Komplete at full specs in 60 fps.... Does anyone know what can be the problem......all my Drivers seem to be fine Update: When using the Launchbox frontend, everything runs at 60 fps.....same emulator, same game......the only deifference is its fullscreen rather than using a bezel in HS

Hi guys. I am in the process of redoing my setup because of a failed drive. I am having trouble getting my joystick working in HyperSpin. I had it working before somehow, so I know it's possible. It is working in Windows and also working in the emulators. It is also recognized in HyperHQ no problem. When I launch HyperSpin my log shows "Error intializing joysticks". Hi All, I have been using HS flawlessly for a while except for one big issue.. when i leave my HS running after about 2-3 days idling on the menus it starts to get slower and slower to respond and input becomes very laggy, eventually after about 4 days of continuous idle in my arcade cabinet HS becomes unusable due to the slow performance and i am forced to reboot HS to fix the issues.. but inevitably it will happen again after a few days. I recently updated HS to latest 1.4 beta to try and fix the issue as i thought it might be a memory leak.. but this has not helped. Any tips?

Hey guys, Sorry to spam the boards for help but I have been offline for a few weeks... Anyway onto my question I have built my hyper spin with 30 wheels from you tube tutorials with simply Austin.. I have had no real issues with my Hyper spin setup... anyway I have it all on my external hard drive, I was playing Nintendo yesterday with x box 360 controller and the dongle connected to my laptop.. Hey Everyone , I have been offline for a few weeks and now I am back online just wanting to know if anyone can help me out, I have recently bought a xbox360 controller with the dongle and while I have the hyper spin on my external hard drive I am playing a few games and I have connected everything up I have also bought xpadder and have made a few configs for playing the controller on games and different emulators My only real problem is I cant seem to figure out how to use the controller to scroll through hyper spin main menus and select wheels and then game roms.. Hello I have a home made arcade cabinet with hyperspin installed and one day randomly everytime I try to launch a game rom on any emulator I get an error message as follows (see attached screenshot): No Default_Emulator found in "D:\Arcade\RocketLauncher\Settings\D:\Arcade\Mame\roms\tripool.zip,CHD\Emulators.ini" Please set one so RocketLauncher knows what module to use. Looking at the error message, it looks to me like a problem with mapping relative paths (since D:\ appears twice). I can't find anywhere in RocketLauncherUI, HyperHQ, or any of the various .ini files to change this behavior. Any help would be very appreciated Chris

Guys im in the midst of setting up a new bartop arcade.....Hyperspin so far so working fine (the games that i have tried anyways) I built the bartop to play PC games as well (loaded via hyperspin) I cannot get the keys to map properly on this game at all.....The menus move via the joystick,but when i get to character screen it doesnt work,nor in game fight Has anyone got this working? I am embarrassed to be asking for help, but I am totally lost. I can get Hyperspin to work just fine, but am not able to get a single ROM to work. I only have a handful, as I am currently trying to be legit about which games I get. I am guessing based on what little I am learning that I have the wrong version of the ROM for the MAME version I am running. What is the best way to handle something like this. I am pretty sure my ROMs aren't even all the same version, so I am stuck and getting frustrated. I would appreciate any help anyone can give me. Thanks Bigdogkc

I've delved into many support topics on this website and through reddit with no clear definitive answer to my issue. I have installed HS 1.4 and RLauncher and went through all the tutorials very rigorously. I can open and launch games inside RocketLauncherUI but I cannot get games to open inside of HyperSpin. I can select my way through the Console selection but when I get to game selection it simply won't load anything. I have no duplicate processes running. Every .exe has adminstrator access. How do?

When i select Arcade Classics i get the songs with most of the games, ie Tapper plays the Cheers theme only in Arcade Classics but not Main Mame.........Is there a way i can navigate the mame folder to match the arcade classics in theme music as well?

I have an Ipac and I have an exit button plugged into 2A on the Ipac, which registers as Tab. When I go into HyperHQ when I try to set the exit key, and I hit my exit button (or Tab from the keyboard) it Tabs rather than registers as an exit key. Is there a way I can override this?

I'm checking out the custom Mame for PGM2 games (oriental legends 2 etc), but I don't know how to create a custom wheel for it. Unfortunately to get these working you need to run their associated .bat files instead of just starting up Mame. Any thoughts how to set this up? I figure it would be similar to just running a .exe file for say a PC game like SFV, but I am unsure how to set that up either. Edit0: Ended setting it up following this guide and using PCLauncher, but when I launch the .bat hyperlaunch stays in focus and doesn't put the focus on the new window that opens. Edit1: Fixed this by going into the rom and setting the AppWaitTime to point at the mame.…
