Hello All I have hyperspin configured with rocket launcher and most of my games and emulators are working great. If i run an fba game, when i exit the game i get a black screen. I turned off fade and it goes back to the wheel but the emulator is still running. If i launch using rocketlauncher ui, when i exit the game, rocketlauncher.exe is still running and joytokey is still using fba profile. I am using official final burn alpha.ahk module. I have tried using esc and alt+f4 to exit but the script never exits. Any help would be appreciated thanks

Hi all so I recently swapped from retropie to hyperspin in my arcade cabinet as I had a pc laying around. All was going fine running smooth after I set it all up but when I turned off my pc and went back on the next day all my joystick IDs have been changed so none of my button mappings work now and are all swapped round so player 1 is now on the player 4 etc. Which as you can guess is very annoying having to go back and change it all. I then changed it all and it done it again! I was wondering if there is a fix for this I have seen it happens on windows 10 (which I'm on) so I was thinking will going to windows 7 fix the issue? Good evening guys Apologies if this has been done to death... But I am struggling to get my head around collection wheels or nested wheels(I think they're called). I am trying to put a few Asteroids games on a separate wheel (Asteroids collection) but for the life of me I cannot workout how it's done I did watch ninja2bceen's video a couple of times and tried to follow that but totally fudged up my setup and had to start again! As it wasn't very well explained imho If some kind people could point me in the right direction to a tutorial or even a step by step quick guide explaining how this dark art works... Hello I've run into an annoying issue. When ever I reboot my computer, the joytokey mapping I have setup, changes. Each joystick settings move and I have to open joytokey and update the joystick to the corresponding mapping setting. Than I also have to edit RocketLauncherUI joytokey settings. Just curious if there is a way to lock the mapping.

Hi there, Noob to HS just trying to get started so I can do some tinkering. I believe I've read all the necessary rules and done all of the precursor steps (did a search for my problem, etc.) so hopefully I haven't missed anything obvious. Apologies in advance: I have been trying to download HS 1.5.1. full package. I'm using up-to-date Win10 and Firefox. Temporarily disabled Windows Defender realtime protection and Firefox block for "dangerous downloads." The download still failed after a few moments. Can anyone help me? Are there any joytokey profiles for zero delay USB encoders? I cant figure out how to get the controls in Hyperspin to work. Ive tried tutorials and videos on youtube over and over. I have a hyperspin drive currently setup for xbox 360 controllers I think. I built a 4 player cabinet, and im using 5 zero delay usb encoders 1 for each player, and an additional one for a flight stick. Any advice on what to do? I am super new at this, but I understand computers well, so just need some guidance. Thanks!

I am using a single wheel Hyperlaunch for a handful of Mame games. Everything works fine except there is a noticeable delay when I start a game. Sometimes the wheel even moves to another title in that time. Launching directly from Rlauncher is very quick. I would even be ok with the delay if there was some indication the start button has been pressed, but there is none. Hoping someone has a solution! Thanks!

I know the subject has been brought up before however I have been unable to find a solution as of yet. I have a 15 button Elgato Stream Deck attached to my cabinet. My goal is to have the stream deck button functionality to work so that I can press a "go" or "exit" button on the stream deck and have it navigate through the wheels (to include exiting HS back to windows). I was able to get mame (directly) to work with it by editing the mame.ini file and changing the "OSD INPUT OPTIONS" - "keyboardprovider" from "Auto" to "dinput". Doing so has allowed me to access the service menu as well as exit games while playing a rom using mame directly. However with HyperSp…

hyperspin.exe suddenly wont open. I even tried reinstalling the latest version and temporarily disabling windows defender but I still get the same error. Anybody know what the problem is? It shows up in Task Manager for a brief second but then disappears.

Hi all Its been about 5 years since I've built a HyperSpin setup. I'm planning on a new arcade cab and just trying to catch up on any new school info when selecting a P.C and OS. The cab will be dedicated arcade only and am planning on just buying a cheap refurb P.C. - My first question is Windows 7 or 10? - The second is will an i5 with 8gig ram and external SSD do the job for such things as MAME and MODEL2? Sorry for the noob questions, just want some advice from the pro's before I buy. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

I have video snaps for MAME from EMUMOVIES, but some have soft volume, some have loud volume, and some have very loud volume. Is there a way to control the volume for each snap movie (displayed during the MAME Wheel)? For example, could you designate a volume level in the Theme for each game? Speaking of which, is there a webpage/wiki/document somewhere that explains the controls available in the Theme.xml file? Thanks!

Is it possible to disable the ability to jump through the wheel by first letter? Moving the joystick left/right does this but I do not want that behavior. I just want up/down to move through the games. Sent from my Surface Duo using Tapatalk

I really need some help with this. I am attempting to install hypserspin to my nvidia shield. I am using an external usb devis to hold the files. When i click to open hyperspin i get "No hypersin data folder found! Valid locations are "/storage/uuiid/hyperspin, /sdcard/heperspin", or /storage/sdcard0/hyperspin" Please visit hyperspin-fe.com. Why is it trying to access my SD card when my shield doesnt even have a sd card slot. It should be accessing the external USB storage i added. I just cant for the life of me figure out who to ask for help on this. Thank you!

Hey guys/gals. I have been away for a while due to family life etc. I have an old version of Hyperspin,apart from it being a little laggy,and the wheel not stop spinning i have been getting issues with controls not working the User Interface. When i go into HyperHQ,it sometimes doesnt start (the Program itself) to change the controls. I was going to update my build with the latest Hyperspin update,but i just noticed that it states Windows now breaks Hyperspin, so im hesitant to install anything now....Has this issue been fixed? A bit of backstory: I loaded Windows 10 onto a Dell 9010 with an R5 230 GPU, with Calamity's drivers, everything seemed ok, until starting HyperSpin, and then when the theme loads for a Mame game (I assume other systems would be the same), the sound plays, but there is a 5 second delay to the video playing. Through searching i found the issue with flash/green videos/videos not playing etc (though i thought that had been fixed), but with the depreciation of flash, it is getting harder to get this installed and fixed. I’m using windows 7 and when I plug the usb from my aimtrak gun and start hyperspin it goes crazy causing the hyperspin wheel to keep spinning not allowing me to pick any gameconsole until I disconnect it. Can someone help me with this problem I would greatly appreciate it. If your up for the task you can remotely connect to my computer to see what going on. Also i have a dual boot system with windows 7 64 but and windows 10 64 bit. It doesn’t do it on the windows 10 side

I can't get the Dolphin, Sega model 3, or Sega Triforce or some of the games to work. The games run fine but hyperspin doesn't load the game fast enough. It just gets stuck in the "Now Loading" screen and then it loads after a long time. Can you please help me?

Sorry if there are instruction on this. I can't seem to locate them. Is there a way to enable debug logging with HyperSpin? Currently, my HyperSpin will sometimes abruptly just exit and the current log has zero data at the moment of the process stopping. Just the usual start up logging.

What does the startup script do in hyperhq? I recently added joytokey to work with mame arcade setup. In order for it to work, I had to change the startup script in hyperhq to point to joytokey. I noticed search option don't work after th change. Can I create a powershell script to start both startup script and joytokey and place the script in the startup path in hyperhq? So I can joytokey map to the search option? Or will it crash?

Hi all, I've been trying to fix my system for days and days. I cannot figure out what the problem is. I've read EVERYTHING on the internet. I've changed settings. I downloaded the newest HyperSpin. Games work perfectly if I launch directly from MAME or if I launch from within Rocket Launcher. But if trying through HyperSpin, I can use by stick (X-Arcade) to scroll through system and games, but when I attempt to start a game through HyperSpin no button or keyboard key will start the game.
