Have you tried playing those dual-stick shooter games yet? Hidden gems imho.... @reznnate let me tell something about the packs that i made. The packs that are going be released are all "best of" packs. I have been looking at several sites like metacritic, gamefaqs, youtube, den of geeks and so on for more then a year to get the perfect sets for each system. Games list are based on a (best of, nostalgic, hidden gems), and the last touch it needs is the emulation scene (you guys) to get the perfect set. The first set that will be released is the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. This set has a 150 game list,. the boxart and themes are done. i'll be posting the list tomorrow so we can see if anyone thinks another game is better then one i have in it and swap it out, once we all think that the set is perfect i'll make the noxes for the new games (if my set isn't perfect enough ) and then ill release it and i will post the list for the next system.... MAME is offcourse in there with a 300 game list, thats the biggest list. so Hidden Gems are welcome...it will be good fun to debate on the forums again. if you can get me a list for the mame hidden gems i can check them out... 3
SUBZERO Posted July 20, 2018 Author Posted July 20, 2018 The idea for my console system i started years ago was to have a playable system for everyone. not a library, just something to enjoy and play while still having this neverending hobby........just a bit OCD because evrything needed to be perfect, so everything that you see on screen uses 2 palletes of color (you will see what i mean later on) so everything looks unified. 2 2

sanchezmike01 Posted July 20, 2018 Posted July 20, 2018 It's going gr8....new cd based systems like wii still lack in power and speed but overall its gr8....alot more compatible than an rpi3....if u got or get a shield holla at me for any assistance....with mame board collections and all I'm somewheres around 300 or more wheels for android which is unheard of for that platform....I'm always testing mess systems but a pain because everything needs softlist naming but I'm always up for the renaming task...lmaooo...only 2 systems I'd like to get that I haven't started because of lack of media or things noone ever paid attention to is android games (I have over 100 apks that I need to install...lmao) and NEC PC-98...with pc98 I'd rather go with games that I can find art for instead of a fullset....all I can find are 2d boxes some good some bad but no wheels and no vids ...so in the mean time I'm just cleaning this up , fixing wheels, and need to rearrange my main xml because it's a hot mess .....I just test things on android if I can launch and play then I install in no proper shape or form....I really need to organize it so all arcades are together, all handhelds together, consoles, etc....but the end this story if u want to transfer most of ur stuff to something more portable, then the shield is the way to go 100%

Mykillvee Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 @SubZero I’d love to see you do themes for these three hidden MAME gems: World Class Bowling, Shuffleshot and Shuuz. My friends always play those 3 because they can still hold a beer in the other hand 2 1

Mykillvee Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 Question: if the box art and themes are all done for these, why would you swap them out? Does this mean that you will have unreleased themes? It’s just kind of backwards, IMO. I’d rather see every single theme released and then see a “best of” pack released separately. That way, ALL of your amazing work can be enjoyed by everyone. 1
SUBZERO Posted July 23, 2018 Author Posted July 23, 2018 @Mykillvee No, they will be in a seperated folder. I want the packs to be clean and stay on 150 Everything will be released eventually,. just releasing one system at a time. 2

Of course, since nostalgic comes into play, there are several games I owned and/or played that might not be "good" for the average player but they give me awesome memories Andre Agassi Tennis Arkanoid: Doh It Again Beavis and Butt-head Bugs Bunny Rabbit Rampage Clay Fighter Final Fight Series Goal! International Superstar Soccer Deluxe James Bond Jr. Jungle Book, The Lamborghini American Challenge Looney Tunes B-Ball Marvel Super heroes: War of the Gems Scooby-Doo Mystery Simpsons Bart's Nightmare Tiny Toon Adventures: Wacky Sports Challenge Todd McFarlane's Spawn: The Video Game Tom and Jerry Total Carnage 1 1 Beer Me!
SUBZERO Posted July 23, 2018 Author Posted July 23, 2018 This is the stuff i need from you guys. i'll research those game again..... If we can get around 200 games ill just add those extra 50 boxes in a seperate folder inside the set. This way everybody will be happy. 3
SUBZERO Posted July 23, 2018 Author Posted July 23, 2018 @reznnate You mean Rescue and Minefield from Stern right?
reznnate Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 Yes, these were twin-stick shooters. I believe the same programmer made them. Very challenging games but quite fun. I enjoy games that require skill and allow me to progress as my skill improves. 1
