Usul
Hi Chris,, can you already share with the impatient crowd what your final fireworks display will look like? I mean how many LEDs will you have aside from the flasher etc.? Thx
chriz99
usul, you mean the flasher panel/position? I think I will go this route (yellow = strobe LED / orange = rgb LED)

Spektre99
yeah i loved finding those 15.6's they are a real gem of a find. tempted to buy a ton of them and sit on em I've noticed some 720p 15" TV's about. What are the dimensions of this 15.6" panel? Spektre
Spektre99
thanks guys! here we go samsung LED screen got delivered. was surprised about the very thin package testing the screen with my sttng vpin pc decased it and was surprised again about the 14mm - looks like a slimline cd-rom Chris, since you have the thin screen there and your old cab, do you think with this new thin screen you could get away with top mounting the screen AND still be able to cover up the smaller grooves for teh TV with a standard size sidebar? mameman
pretty sure Chris as the same screen now as I put in BBB, based on that thickness i think you could just get away with covering the LED with a std side rail.
chriz99
yes, I think you can cover it with standard siderails. the dimensions of the 15.6" widescreen are 21cm x 36.5cm (decased)

Darkfall
OMFG! I love the Williams sticker! That's awesome! I have to do that too, now! *laugh*. Edit: Done. Now to finish my cabinet, so I have someplace to stick it! I didn't go with the exact replica - I wanted the Williams logo at the top: I've zipped up the sticker (in Microsoft Word format), along with the barcode fonts needed to properly render the sticker, in case anyone wants it: http://www.westernnetworks.com/files/pinball/WilliamsSNSticker.zip
